Olive Moto Jacket + Skinny Cargo Pants

Happy Monday! It’s back to the lovely world of work – Uggg! Those weekends are going by faster and faster it seems like. I spent last week taking a few days checking out some popular stores and boy did I send some trends that were huge! Have you noticed how popular Moto Jackets are right now? From leather to knit, these little jackets are making a huge impact this season. They are everywhere!

This Moto Jacket is by YMI Jeans, it’s faux suede and it is heavy enough to wear here in NC till January at least. It’s a perfect jacket to get me through Fall and into the winter months. When getting jackets like this, I like to size up, so I am wearing a Large in this jacket. I cannot stand to feel restricted in a car, so I always size up. Does anyone else like their jackets a little roomier?

Olive is a trending color this season and I have jumped right on board with it! Olive is a great color that compliments leopard print and this sleeveless tank (similar here) was perfect with this. I also picked up this mock neck thin sweater for cooler days – this would be perfect with jeans and knee-high boots! Plus the mock neck sweater is a perfect layering piece!

If you wanted to take your outfit up a notch, red pants would really stand out with the jacket and tank. Or you could style it with a cute pair of white cropped pants with black booties for a wrokwear look – it would be too cute!

I found these black skinny cargo pants at Walmart, these are low in stock online. I found similar ones here that are from Old Navy. These hit right at the ankle and are perfect for wearing with booties or pumps if you want to dress them up for a night on the town! Check your local Walmart to look for these, they are simialr to Ponte pants and wear great! These can be dressed up or down, which makes it a win/win for me.

These booties were featured on Friday’s blog, Styling a Blazer With Ankle Flared Jeans, these are some of my favorite open-toed booties. I found similar ones that are absolutely adorable below! I love a cute bootie and Brooklyn LOVES to go digging in my closet to pick out booties or shoes to wear. It’s so cute watching her prance around – she is SO girlie!

I had to snap a picture of her in these pink sandals! She is all about leopard print, any girl color, and BLING! Yes, I think she is my grandchild! I wasn’t lying! HAHA!! She is in my closet constantly – remember when I told you about her losing my new jewelry?
