12 Looks: Amazon Prime Try-On Haul

It’s been a long time since I have had an Amazon Prime Wardrobe Box, so I thought I would give it another try since Amazon had added more brands to the wardrobe line. Have you tried Amazon Prime Wardrobe yet? With prime, you can pick out up to 8 pieces of clothing, shoes, or jewelry and try it on at home for 7 days. Once you make your mind up on what you want to keep or even if you want to send it all back, just box it back up and mail it back with the shipping label included (more about Prime Wardrobe at the end of the post). This box has to be my favorite because I am in love with all the pieces. I was so impressed with what I chose and I hope you girls love it as much as I love it. And the black Lark and Ro dress is 100% legit! I loved it!

I am starting off this try-on haul with a pair of Levi jeans that are Fab-U-LOUS! These are the “new” boyfriend jeans with a mid-rise waist and are slightly more fitted than the regular boyfriend style. The length on these is 27-inches unrolled and I am wearing the regular length and I am 5’7″ tall, for reference. These have elastane, so the stretch is great! I am wearing the Maui Views shade and a size 29. These come in multiple shades of denim, see them all here. I am styling the jeans with an awesome oversized jersey top from Daily Ritual. This is a great top for now and later, plus you can wear it off the shoulder for a date night outfit. This comes in multiple colors and is only $20, which is a steal! See the jersey top here. I am wearing a large in this for reference.

I styled the oversized top with the Daily Ritual knit skirt. This material feels like super soft sweatshirt material and fits TTS. Since the color clay/terracotta is so popular right now, I chose it for the fall and I am loving it! I am wearing a medium for reference and comes in a variety of colors. This is a great piece to wear on the weekend or out to eat for a casual dinner. Style it with sneakers or sandals, or add a statement accessory to make it pop like I did. See the skirt here. I’m wearing the Lydia Fanny Pack from Modern+Chic Boutique, and I love the way it makes the outfit pop! Have you tried the fanny pack trend? If you are still looking for a great pair of chino shorts for the warm weather, these Amazon Essential 5-inch shorts are adorable and unbelievably comfortable. These are $21 and come in multiple color options. I really like these chino shorts because of the stretch they have. Plus, Amazon Essentials is one of my favorite brands to shop at Amazon. These fit TTS and I am wearing a size 10 for reference. See the chino shorts here. The beige DKNY crossbody is a gift from Barry and it’s on sale right now for only $100, that’s $75 off the regular price. I know I have a few girls that are handbag splurgers, so this is for you 😍. See the handbag here and it also comes in black.

I haven’t styled a polo dress in a long time, so when I ran across this Nautica dress, I decided to give it a try. I love these style dresses to wear with sneakers and they are super cute with a denim jacket in the fall. This fits TTS and has a relaxed fit and it also comes in other color options. I’m wearing Aloha Pink, size Large, and it’s under $40! See the dress here. It’s sooo much cuter in person than in pictures and the silhouette is very slimming, so I really liked that, (wink wink).

Stop what you are doing and click on THIS dress! Girls, I loved the fit of this dress so much I was pure flabbergasted! Barry was outside on the patio and I waltzed myself right out there and twirled (lol!), he looked up and said…”Where have you been all my life?”, HAHA! This dress buttons up at the chest and has ruching, and it has some stretch in the material. The body flows perfectly and is very slimming. This is a Lark & Ro dress, I am wearing a size 10 for reference, and this comes in multiple colors, see it here. The ALDO handbag is for all my Bling-loving girls! It’s a really cute and eye-catching bag, click here to see it up close. I am styling the champagne color.

If you like the jumper trend, this is one you need to get. I love the feel of this jumper and the fit is probably the best that I have tried. The neckline can be buttoned or you can use 2-sided tape to make the v-neck higher. It also has a racerback style back, so the straps will not fall down. You can style this with sneakers, sandals, or heels with a denim jacket, cardigan, or a kimono. This is only $30, comes in multiple color options, and has over 6K reviews! See the jumper here.

I snapped this pic on a workout day, so excuse the hair, ha! I’m keeping it super real, but I wanted to show this Happy Tee. This is a cropped tee, but it can be styled with high-waist jeans or you can wear a long tank underneath. See the Happy tee here, it comes in multiple colors and I am wearing a large in this tee. I am wearing Spanx faux leather leggings with it, and if you haven’t tried Spanx, put it on your “to-do” list! I learned that these run small, so size up one size. I am wearing the tall length because I wanted mine a tad longer for boots this fall but could have easily worn regular length easily.

I couldn’t let the try-on end without a romper since these are all the rave nowadays. I love rompers and I really love wearing them with kimonos and cardigans. This is the Amazon Essentials Studio Terry Romper and has a v-neck neckline and this romper has moisture-wicking which is a must-have with any style romper. The romper comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns and is only $25. It has side pockets with a drawstring waist with a comfortable fit through the hips and thighs. I am wearing a medium for reference, check all the colors out here.

So glad that everyone over your way is doing better. Some seasons of life are so difficult to get through but we always manage to do it. I love the terra-cotta skirt but they are sold out in my size…bummer. Have a wonderful day to yourself Beverly 😍

    • Elizabeth Mayfield

Quick question- the terra-cotta skirt looks to be more of a melon color on Amazon. You mentioned clay and I just wanted to double check it was the same as what you have pictured. Such a cute casual outfit. Thanks for your blog, I’m so glad I found you!

A few years ago I vowed to never tell when I was taking a day off. I was just going to get up, get ready, head to work. When everyone was gone I would sneak back home. Haha! I still look forward to days when I have the house to myself & I can peacefully think & work without distractions. Giddy for sure! I’m so glad your Mom & Barry progressing so well. Prayers for Reagan. I’m glad she is coming home. Support is so important in a situation like that. I love the first look; Levi’s & blouse.
          Have a great weekend!!

Hey Deborah. I ordered a medium, definitely order your regular size because it has plenty of give. It’s super soft!! ( sorry I’m laying responding ❤️) I just got my new glasses so I’m trying to get caught up on the comments & emails. Happy Wednesday ❤️❤️

So many cute things! I hope you enjoy your day and that everything falls back into place for you and your family 🙂

Hi Beverly! Is there a male version of you that exists anywhere? Lol. I love everything you put together. I wish there was a males version of you to help with my husband’s wardrobe. I see Barry in some things once in a while, but I’m talking about a major overhaul. He’s a good looking guy, but he won’t ever buy clothes. If he sees someone that looks great in things that won’t break the bank, I think he’ll be open to it. Any suggestions?

      • Beverly

I have no clue about male bloggers. Barry works at the court house, so he sees the younger guys coming in with the new trends for workwear. He’s so tight, he heads over to eBay to find similar items. I will keep an eye out though. That’s a great idea! I wish Chase would style a few items, he would do well, but he’s not a social media guy. I rarely get to post pics of him. Sighhh!! Happy Monday!!

  • Melanie

Good Morning☕️ So happy to hear Barry & your mom are recovering well… I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the oversized shirt and Levi’s outfit. I immediately ordered me an Amazon prime wardrobe lol.. I’m loving that romper with that kimono as well. Being home alone? Oh boy do I enjoy those rare moments to just enjoy quietness. We need those days to keep sane right? 😉 Haha. Enjoy your Friday and weekend. Thank you so much for always sharing these beautiful outfits for women our age and how awesome of a deal each piece are and for us women to splurge on something every now and then♥️

What’s up girl!!! I’m late responding, I’m trying to give my eyes a rest for a bit. Did I tell you girls about the eye issue? Hmmm, I can’t remember. Anyways, I thought my glass prescription needed renewed, but I also knew something was going on with the left eye. It’s been giving me a time since April. Well, they say I have narrow angle glaucoma, so I have to go to a specialist to make sure. My prescription was off, so I’m praying it’s not glaucoma. Anyway…I’ve been trying to stay off social media and my phone snd wrote out a post about 3 times a week till I get to the specialist. I don’t think I told you girls that. Did I? Probably not since we have so much yuck hitting us here lately.

      But that outfit is 💯💯🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

  • Jodi

Thanks for your reply regarding male bloggers. I figured it was worth a try. I think a lot of us have similar husbands when it comes to buying clothes. I hope you’re able to get some relief with your eye situation. Take care.
