**Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post, as always, all opinions are my own. The one thing that will bring me joy is spending time with my family, and I am constantly looking for ways to make memories for my children and Brooklyn. Since I have become a member of Walmart+ it has given me more time to do the things that matter most to me, and I am constantly telling people about all the benefits. Today I am sharing our family movie night along with all my latest finds for hosting our get-together and what I found for all those cozy feels! When the kids were smaller, we started family movie night and we are still going strong 20+ years later and now Brooklyn (our granddaughter) is enjoying this tradition with us. The tradition started out with the kids and I all bunched up on the couch in our jammies with cozy blankets, and popcorn, with no distractions…nothing but pure family time! Each child got to pick a movie every other week and now we still rotate movie choices, but now I get to add in one of my selections. (Rom-Com movies are not their faves, but they let me have my moment, haha). Pajamas are a big part of the night, so I am always on the lookout for loungewear. I ordered a few new pieces from Walmart and had them delivered to my house this week. Who doesn’t love a great lounge set?! I went all out and added new slippers as well, if you haven’t seen all the new arrivals at Walmart, you can check them out here. I also added a few new hosting trays and I am loving the Better Homes & Gardens Abbott Stoneware Exposed Clay Rectangular Serving Tray and the Better Homes & Gardens Abbott Stoneware Dinner Bowl, and I think you will too! Separate registration required. Since I am a huge movie lover, I decided to up our family movie night and get a Vizio Sound System. I ordered this on the Walmart App and it was delivered to my door the same day. Chase hooked everything up and got it running and the sound is phenomenal! This would make a great gift for someone on your Christmas list! I never thought about this type of gift, but after hearing every guy in our family (including cousins) tell me they want one…I knew this would be a gift that won’t be regifted! LOL! See my sound system here. It is so good…you will look around to see where the noise is coming from; you will be surprised just how much we are missing from movies and TV shows. I love that I can watch while I’m on-the-go, anywhere…any time. I carry my tablet with me wherever I go, so I’m always able to stay occupied and Brooklyn loves it even more because the variety of movies for kids can keep her entertained for hours! Since I know many of you love life when it’s easier, I wanted to tell you about Walmart+ and how you can try it out with a free 30-day trial so you can test out the savings before you commit to a membership.

Happy Friday everyone! Today on the blog we are talking about how I am making my life less stressful for the holidays, and how I pulled together a last minute girl’s brunch with ease. This is a busy time of the year and if you are like me, you want things to b e less stressful, all while pulling off the perfect get-together with family and friends. Walmart is my go-to for pre-made and pre-packaged foods that gives me extra time with my family and I can find everything I need from prep to presentation. I planned a last minute brunch with a few of my girlfriends and it was a huge hit! I made an easy and mouth-watering quiche that I am sharing below, but before we get to that…let’s talk about the good stuff. The finger foods and the home items I picked up! I am all about cute presentation and Walmart had everything I needed. I have been asking for this Pioneer Woman Cake Stand for the past three years, and Barry has yet to buy it, so I bought it myself and it is a must-have! it’s perfect for cakes, pies, cupcakes, or you can use it like I did and put those lovely croissants in. (I’m a bread and sweets girl…can you tell?) When I am planning my family or friend get-togethers I want it be fun, festive, and have food that is not only appealing, but is delicious. Food brings people together and sitting around the table enjoying a few appetizers, talking or reminiscing with our family is my kind of fun. These get-togethers are the types of memories and traditions I want to make for my kids and grandkids. And if I am being honest, every time the kids (or young people) in our family come over for the holidays, they always go for the food first thing. I know you moms and grandmas can totally relate! I love this tiered serving tray whenever I am hosting a get-together, it not only offers more space for food, it is appealing to the eye. I like to use tall items like the Cake Stand, medium to large serving dishes or bowls, tiered serving trays that keeps the eye moving and gives the appearance of making the table look full and vibrant. I topped my table off with the gorgeous garland with berries for added color and a “home for the holiday” vibe. Doesn’t it scream, come over and have a seat? I loved decorating my centerpiece and I think it really stood out with frosted greenery garland. You could add some candles and twinkle lights for a more eye-catching look. Someone once told me presentation is everything! What do you think? Presentation or the food? I’m stuck right in the middle between those two, although I do lean towards the food, lol! With the holidays approaching make your big and small get-togethers easy, like I did, with pre-made and pre-packaged foods from Walmart. From fruits to cheese trays and add some pre-made desserts for all your guests and keep them smiling. The holidays are stressful enough, so do like I do and let Walmart take some of the stress away! Also, be sure to check out some of my most recent buys in Christmas decor from Walmart below. Easy Brunch Spinach and Egg Quiche Check out the short video below for all the details on a fan favorite here at the Hoyle house. It takes no time at all to make and is mouth watering delish! **This was my first recipe video, so it may be a tad raw, nonetheless, I am proud that I stepped out of my comfort zone. 😁 The end product looks gorgeous in the Pioneer Woman Casserole dishes! You can use a normal pie plate, but I think I liked the look much better in the casserole dish. Especially with the red dishes and white plate set! Loving that pop of color for the holidays! I shared this Batter Bowl and Measuring Set in the Gift Guides For The Baker, and I would highly recommend this for any lady on your list that loves to bake or cook. The measuring bowls and spoons are quality made and the batter bowl is a perfect size for big or small Christmas baking projects you may be planning with the kids or grandkids. See the Batter Bowl and Measuring Set here. Level Up Your Centerpiece With This Cake Stand by Pioneer Woman. This is something you will use all year round! *This post was sponsored by Walmart, all opinions are my own. Shop The Post Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I hoped you enjoyed the post and you get a little inspiration for home decor, brunch ideas, and gift ideas! See you on the blog tomorrow for the “Celebrate You” post! Have a great day, stay safe, and be blessed! XOXO

Gift-giving is one of the most fun times of the year for me. I love going to the stores with all the Christmas decorations and shopping and looking for the “perfect” gift. But let’s face facts, buying for some people is super hard. So I have pulled together a variety of gifts in prices that are nice, thoughtful gifts for the women in your life for any age. As someone who enjoys feminine things, creating this gift guide for “her” was the most fun of the bunch. I thought about my sister-in-law, my mom, and my friends as I scrolled through my favorite retailers and really tried to think about actual gifts I would give my loved ones and things I would like to receive. Hope Barry reads this one haha! My rule of thumb is to try to pair a practical item with something a little bit more fun. So if I’m giving a travel case for my sister-in-law to pack her cosmetics in for future trips, I’d also slip a lip balm or gift card to Starbucks in there as well. Mixing and matching items together makes a gift feel really personal and special. If you have a friend that likes wine, #3 is a great gift, but consider putting a bottle of her favorite wine to really put a smile on her face! One of my favorite gifts on this list is #22, it’s a Rikki Mirror and it was only available through Limelife by Alcone, but is now available through Amazon. This is the perfect makeup mirror with a 5-year warranty on it. And they stand by that warranty! This has Bluetooth that attaches to your phone if you are trying to take a professional picture. My picture on the right side of the blog is taken with a Rikki Mirror. Perfect for teenagers or women of any age. Lastly, if there is anyone that is SUPER hard to buy for, you can never go wrong with giving a food gift paired with a beautiful soap set, it’s not glamorous, but it will be used! Gift Guide List For Her Ugg Scuffette II Slipper Three’s A Charm Travel Set Sugar Lip Treatment Wine Tote Bage With Stainless Stem Wine Glasses: Holds 2 wine bottles. Cozy Chic Robe (comes in multiple colors) Carlie T-Bar Crystal Bracelet Watch Patagonia Snap-T Fleece Pullover Treasure and Bond Fringed Scarf (comes in multiple colors) Kelly & Katie Fringe Hinge Bracelet 3 in 1 Stainless Steel Charging Station Lined, Refillable Vintage Writing Journal YETI Rambler 20oz Insulated Tumbler Diptyque Baies/Berries Scented Candle Cathy’s Concept 4pk Monogram Old Fashion Mason Jar Glasses Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Luxe Hydration Gift Set Nordstrom Moonlight Pajamas Diamond Plush Throw Overnight Foot Care Set Treasure and Bond Faux Fur Pom Beanie Orolay Women’s Thickened Down Jacket (one of the most popular jackets on Amazon) Intelex Warmies Slippers (different color options available) FRIENDS Central Perk 24 oz. Soup/Coffee mug Glamcor Rikki Skinny Lighted Mirror Special Mention NARS VIP ROOM Essentials Set I hope this helped a little to give you some ideas for gift ideas. These prices range from $10 to $200, so they can be purchased for work friends, Secret Santa, and right on down to your favorite girlfriend! Thanks for stopping by the blog and I hope you girls have a great day. I wanted to share a few pictures of Brooklyn while she is on her trip to Disney World! Be sure to follow along on Instagram, I am trying to grow my following and would be so grateful! I haven’t really used one since I stopped traveling and the kids are now bigger, but now we have Brooklyn! Things happen and it is sooo nice to have emergency items on hand. I pulled together a few lists of items that I keep in my car and also in my purse. These are great and when you are in need, you will be glad you have them! Essentials For The Mom Wipes: because of carts, airplanes, strollers, sticky hands, dirty bleachers, bathroom doors, etc. Kleenex: because, well…we all need this at times. Band-aids: because I am super clumsy and so is Raegan! Tampons: ahem…maybe not me anymore, but Raegan will need this. Tide to go: because I’m messy at times HA!. Aveda hand relief: because it just feels fancy and sometimes I need hands that aren’t dry. Hair tie: this is one of my most restocked items! Who knows when one will need to pull their hair up!? Neosporin: because anyone could need this at any time. Advil: because of children. And husbands. LOL!!! Cough drops: for that movie or concert or service you’re in and you just… Can’t. Stop. Coughing. We’ve all been there! Sunscreen: for those baseball games when you didn’t really think it was all that hot and sunny and then it is. Tweezers: because, just because… Nail clippers: good to have Benadryl cream: for mosquito bites, bee stings, and random itchiness. This stuff rocks. A pen: for all those times you drive to the ATM and you forgot to sign the back of the check. More ideas below… Mini Makeup Remover Dry Shampoo Mouthwash Chewing Gum Sewing Kit (with safety pins) Travel toothbrush Nail file Extra mints (we can never have too many…right?) Travel brush Travel deodorant Q-tips Extra chargers and ear buds Extra nail polish Nail clippers I realize it seems like a lot, but these are all very small items that fit perfectly in a little zipper pouch and then into your big bag. When I traveled, these were definitely needed and used! I can’t imagine not having an Emergency Kit in my car and a small compact bag in my purse now. As moms and wives, we know that we are the ones that everyone goes to for their needs. So let’s be ready! Need a bag already put together? Click HERE. What are some of your “Go-To” Items you always have on hand? Thanks for stopping by the blog today and I hope you ladies have a wonderful day! What are you up to today?

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope your week has been great and you are relaxed this weekend. I have been tossing around what I was going to write about today and I decided to go with my gut and write about something that I have issues with. Something I am trying to change in my life. As you know, I work from home with the blog and my jewelry and skincare business. I try to “keep a schedule”, but that doesn’t always work in real life. I am a taxi, a cook, a planner, a cleaner, an event organizer and so much more. OH…the big one – a dog walker and babysitter for humans and pets HA!!! These are jobs that all you can relate to in one way or another, and these “jobs” can change in a matter of seconds. I usually do fine during the week because I am alone mostly and I work well when no one is around. The problem is on the weekends when everyone is here. I feel like people are trampling over me, nothing stays clean, I am constantly loading the dishwasher, let’s not talk about laundry… and I could keep going on. I think you moms and wives know the feeling! This weekend I had to break away and take some “me” time, I am very OCD and like things to be in order and I like for my crew to follow through on things I ask of them. You know, like changing the empty roll of toilet paper, not leaving dishes in the sink, after bathing – pick up your towels, clean the restroom…HAHA! Who else deals with this or did deal with it at one time? Yeah…I think we all have. I ended up reading my God’s Promises For Your Every Need book to get my mind settled. This little book does work! I took a walk, I cleared my head, I listened to inspiration music, I did everything I thought I could to pull me out of my mood. I even took a nap! (this work so well at times). Of course when all these things were over and I reemerged into my family room, there were clothes everywhere – Chase was doing his laundry, the sink had dishes in them, toys were strung from the front of the house to the back. Sighhhh!!!!!! As the TV was slightly blaring in the background it caught my attention. It was a documentary on a family that had a 6-year-old child disappear. WOW! I have my kids with me, I have a really great family, there is no real sickness, overall things are a lot better than MANY people in this world. I thought about Barry losing his youngest child, and then I thought about this family that lived every day not knowing where their child was, if she was being abused, if she was buried somewhere, if she was sold into sex trafficking and so many other thoughts. It wasn’t long before I stopped being overwhelmed in the chaos and I began to be thankful. Thankful there is a hedge of protection around us, thankful that God has his eye on my family and me. Thankful for not being that family on TV! Isn’t it funny how we get all worked up over day to day annoyances and they seem so HUGE! I was looking at a white sheet of paper with a small black dot on it and ONLY focusing on the black dot. Shame on me! Don’t get me wrong, it is HARD to overcome the challenges of living with people that see you as the “maid” (snickering right now), but oh what a joy it is that I can take care of them. I can show them daily that I do love them, even though they will never understand how to change the empty roll of toilet paper or replace the empty roll of paper towels. I really am snickering now! We moms and wives wear different hats every day, God made us where we can handle these things way better than men can. We can multi-task, we see the things in front of us that need cleaning when no-one else can. We prepare for the bad, we prepare for the good, we are the CEO of the home and with that comes great responsibility. It can and will get overwhelming at times, but in the end…there is no place I would rather be. With that being said, we do need to take time for ourselves. Self-care is so important, especially when you are wearing so many hats and so many responsibilities fall on your shoulders. I started this blog exactly one year ago on August 1, 2018 and Proverbs 31:25 was my theme. I do not always remember what that is and sometimes I need a reminder. If you are going through a whirlwind of a time, remember that you are HIS! God will bring you through your storm and carry you through to an even better and brighter tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I hope you ladies have a great day and maybe some of you can relate to my emotional post today of the hectic life of moms and wives! XOXO If not, I hope you got a chuckle somewhere in the post HAHAH!!! DON’T MISS A POST! Subscribe to get email updates!

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to post about something that is one of the most important things in our lives as we age, keeping our bodies fit and being healthy. As we get older we tend to start evaluating our health and lifestyle a little more than we did in our younger days! I certainly did! When I was younger I was more active, I was running around keeping up with kids, my schedule was jammed packed, and my metabolism seemed to be pumping harder and burning much better than it was at 45. So if you are 50 or older you can relate to this and if you are younger, this is something you may want to start addressing now. When I was 40, I was still very active, I was running at least 3 times a week and I felt like I was 20. At that time I was working 8-5 and working the gym into my schedule or some time at the park for a jog was no problem at all. What changed for me was at the age of 45. I took a job where I was traveling 80% of the time and I was sedentary most of the day. I took up bad eating habits and it wasn’t long before it started showing. I gained about 30 lbs. in a year and slowly I was losing muscle mass from sitting so much during the day. I quickly jumped from a size 4/6 to a size 12 and it seemed almost impossible to lose those extra pounds. I had lost my routine of working out and I had lost the want or desire to exercise. By age 48 I was back home and decided I needed to think about me, my health and getting fit had to be a priority. Putting me first…had to be a priority! I lost a few pounds by cutting my food intake and walking or going to the gym a few times a week, but nothing actually helped me get the added pounds and fat off until I started FASTer Way To Fat Loss. I’ve told this story before, I was hesitant…very hesitant!! I did NOT want to spend any money on something that may not work. I did not want to waste money on something I may not follow through on. I just didn’t want to spend any money LOL! My thoughts were I could cut back on what I ate and I could drop some pounds on the scale and I would be happy. The problem was, I was almost 50 and skipping a few meals was not working for me like it did in my 20’s and 30’s! After seeing more and more blogger friends have success on this new “plan”, I decided to take the plunge and join. Putting in my credit card number as I was paying for this program was not easy for me ladies…I don’t like spending unless it’s something tangible that I can see or hold. After signing up, my thoughts were, would I follow through? Could I work this program and learn it? Did I have enough determination to actually do it? My first week was learning the program, I watched their live videos, I read all the materials and I was committing myself 100%! The following Monday we started as a group, we have accountability groups on Facebook and I had my own personal coach to help me along the way. The first few days I thought I was a total failure! I kept on though, I read the posts, the comments in my group and by my second week I was catching a good groove. By the 3rd week, I had this baby nailed! I could do it! Around this time is when I noticed my stomach was MUCH flatter and I was losing inches! I was eating more food than I ever have in my life each day and I was losing fat! How does that work? This program taught me that I was eating the wrong foods and I was consuming too much of foods that were hurting my body. I eat foods that I like, I eat all the fruits that I like, meats that I like and vegetables that I like. I don’t eat sprouts of green, or “healthy” yucky food…I eat things I liked and because of this, it was easier for me to maintain and work the program. I needed more protein and fewer fats, I needed more carbs and fewer fats…yes, you heard me right…I eat CARBS! And a lot of them!! This program teaches you how to cycle your carb intake and you fast during certain hours of the day. This was the easiest thing for me! Have I stuck to it 100% of the time…Ummm, NO! I have messed up, I have gotten off course, but that was ok! I started back up the next day and shook off my failures and kept going. My husband saw the progress I was making and decided to give it a go. When he started this program and I was telling him how many carbs he needed to eat daily, he was convinced I was trying to get him fat HA! He, like me, could not conceive the thought that eating food could make you lose weight. This was totally against everything we had heard and learned throughout our lives. But guess what…he dropped from a size 38 waist to a size 34 and he is 60 years old! Yes, any age and any gender can do this! My mother, who is 78, was struggling with her weight and had been for a long time. She decided to give it a try, only for nutritional purposes. She is not very active but needed to lose weight and she was having a very hard time. She has now dropped 30 lbs and about 38 inches in fat! With no exercise ladies! It doesn’t matter what your activity level is and it doesn’t matter your age or gender…this works! I thought I could get her to do a video, but she has come down with a cold and not feeling well. I did snap this picture of her this week when she was over at our house talking with Barry. This was a photo I screenshot from my Instastories. If you have a lot of weight to lose or that pesky last 10 lbs, this is a program that can and will work for you. This program has taught me simple and easy exercises that are helping me build my muscle back up and how to eat! At 50, it is so important to keep myself moving, flexible and healthy so I can enjoy these latter years of my life. I don’t want to ache and hurt each morning, I want to have more energy, I don’t want to be on a lot of medication and I want to be able to live and enjoy my life. I am joining my sister-in-law Monday on this round, so I will be doing this with all of you that decide to sign up. It honestly is the best thing I ever did for myself. And my family…if it weren’t for me stepping out and making the decision to commit, my family would still be having weight issues. If you are struggling, I urge you to give this program a try. It is not hard to learn and trust me, once you learn it…it is EASY! You are held accountable, you are helped one on one if needed, you are taught things that will change your life! I love sharing this program because I know it is going to work for you. I know you will see changes, I know your clothes will start getting baggy, I know your stomach will start feeling smaller. You will lose that little belly, the mommy pooch, and you will start seeing yourself as the image you have locked up inside your head! Living this lifestyle has totally changed my life, I am now burning fat daily! I have more energy, I’m eating foods I like, I have a support group, I can envision a goal and I know I can reach it. I can crush those goals and I can do it easily!! If I can do it, my 78-year-old mom can do it, and my husband can do it and so many others do it and be successful…YOU can too! Join us next Monday for our next round of FASTer Way To Fat Loss and start your healthy lifestyle and your slimmer life! Trust me, you won’t regret it…it’s by far the BEST thing I have ever done! I’m so glad I took the plunge and put my health first! I can’t wait to see where I end up now that I am working out more and building muscle. I know it is a work in progress, but you know what? I’m doing it one day at a time and I’m doing it for me! I’m doing it for my kids and my grandchild. I’m doing it because I want a great life 10-20 years from now! How about you? Sign Up HERE to Join Me Monday, November 11th!!! Be sure to follow along on Instagram, I am trying to grow my following and would be so grateful!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope your 4th of July week has gone well and full of family, friends, and fun! We had a busy week with landscaping, get-togethers, family, friends and all that good stuff! I am totally messed up with my days, it seems. I was sitting here writing this post out and was thinking everyone should be off to work…well, it’s Sunday, not Monday. Anyone else has days like that? I need a calendar with me at all times now HA! We had a huge family celebration at my brother’s house on Friday night that lasted on into the night. Needless to say, Barry nor I am not used to staying out that late and it took a toll on us both. I got up on Saturday to write my post and life was ON from the time my feet hit the ground till 10 PM. Since I am a little behind, for those of you that like the Sunday Inspirational Posts, I will be sending it out a little later today for you. While I was over at my brother’s house this weekend, my sister-in-law made the BEST cake I think I have ever tasted. Ladies, I’m talking so good that Brooklyn kept scraping her fork over her plate till every bit was gone…I was waiting for her to pick the plate up and lick it! Yes…it was that good! If you have never tasted this very easy icebox cake…put it on your list! It’s a crowd pleaser and you will be bringing home “the” empty dish if you take it to a gathering or serve at a party. I love sharing a great recipe! I found the same recipe from amandascookin.com. If you want to see more recipes please visit her site, she has so many great recipes! I also used her pictures for this recipe, it’s the same recipe my sister-in-law used this weekend! This is an easy summer dessert recipe made with only four simple ingredients – chocolate Oreo cookies and homemade, sweetened whipped cream! Cookies and cream that was OHHHHH so good!!!!!!! Easy Oreo Icebox Cake INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED: 2 packages (15 oz each) Oreo cookies 3 cups heavy whipping cream 3 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla Crushed cookies, chocolate chips, caramel or nuts for topping (optional) Instructions In a large mixing bowl, beat cream, sugar, and vanilla just until stiff peaks form, about 7-9 minutes. In a 13×9 pan or 3-quart dish, add a single layer of Oreos. Top with 1/3 of the whipped cream. Repeat layers, ending with whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or until cookies are softened. For best results chill overnight. To serve, top with crushed cookies, chocolate chips, caramel or nuts before serving, if desired. Notes Homemade whipped cream can be substituted with 24 ounces of whipped topping. To soften cookies faster, dip each one in milk before placing in dish. Proceed with layers as noted above. Nutrition Serving: 1slice | Calories: 538kcal | Carbohydrates: 54g | Protein: 3g | Fat: 36g | Saturated Fat: 17g | Cholesterol: 81mg | Sodium: 292mg | Potassium: 154mg | Fiber: 2g | Sugar: 31g | Vitamin A: 17.5% | Vitamin C: 0.4% | Calcium: 3.9% | Iron: 20.1% Enjoy ladies!! You will thank me when your family goes nuts over your “homemade” dessert!! Thanks for stopping by the blog! Have a great day and stay safe!

Happy Sunday! I know I shouldn’t say this, but I am so glad this week is over and a new week is about to begin! I feel so behind after having those nagging migraines and I am slowly digging myself out of the chaos and back to order. I think by Tuesday I will be all caught up and back on my schedule, now to edit pictures and make graphics! From some of your comments, I am not alone with work and housework piling up – I feel your pain!! For the past year or so, Barry and I have been bouncing around the idea of buying a bigger home (since the kids seem to stay…SIGH!), so we have started the “looking” process. I’m not even sure if I would rather move or build on, but one way or another we definitely have to have more room. We were out looking at a few properties Friday afternoon and decided to run by one of Barry’s coworker’s house. He just retired from the magistrate’s office and had been diagnosed with cancer a while back. He had not been doing very well and we knew it was just a matter of time, so we stopped in to see him and his wife. Barry got to see him and pray with him, but he was sleeping the entire time, but it made Barry feel better. Later that night we got the call that he had passed on. Needless to say, we are very saddened by this. Then on Saturday morning, I was reading on Facebook where a long time friend of mine had passed away with cancer. His was very quick after being diagnosed and he left behind a wife and two boys. I have seen death quite a bit in my lifetime just in my immediate family, but hearing of friends passing and seeing your friends pass like this never gets easier. John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. I said all this because, after our visit with Barry’s friend, I asked Barry pointedly if he had spoken to him about salvation. Barry is not as outgoing as I am in talking about faith, so sometimes me asking questions like that makes him uncomfortable. Barry told me that his friend was “good” and he didn’t really want to discuss it anymore. I then mentioned that we as servants of the Lord have a duty, especially to our friends and family members to ensure they are ready to pass from this life to the next in times like this. Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. I know we should share salvation and what Jesus did at the Cross, and it can make for an awkward situation at times. But I would rather “know that I know, that I know” someone is ready to meet Jesus versus not knowing for sure. We live in a world where many think that being good and believing there is a God will get you into heaven. That is not what the Bible teaches us, we must first be saved and confess that we are saved. We can’t say I believe in God but then live in a worldly manner. We must, in this day and time seek God, read the Bible, pray nonstop and be bold in the Lord. Sometimes this is hard to do, it’s hard to squeeze prayer and alone time in. But it is something we must find time to do and make it a priority, not only for ourselves but for our children, spouses, family members, friends, and acquaintances. I find that I do better when I work from home, I can focus on my family, the Lord and still spread the joy of the Lord and what salvation has done for me. Not everyone has this opportunity and we have to work outside the home. I think back on my life when I was working outside the home and wonder just what kind of an impact I had on anyone when it comes to my faith. I have never been pushy, but I tried to be an example and failed miserably many times. MANY TIMES! Many times I failed ladies! And I knew I was failing and would start new the next day. After this weekend, I have decided that I want to be a better example of what a Christian woman really is. Every day we should strive to be better and I know it is SO hard because life keeps kicking us (rather the devil keeps attacking us) and we get focused on the small things in life. Things that may not matter a month from now, so I want to try and focus on the here and now. Worry about the things I can change and not focus on things I can’t change. Lead by example to my family, to my children and my husband especially. I know that I am more spiritually minded than any of them and my focus should be on the life I am living in front of them. The life I live in front of thousands on Facebook and other Social Media Outlets, because I know if I put God first everything will be fine and work out for my good. I know that if God be for me, who can be against me? One of My Faves From NY&CO Outfit Details: Blouse // Jeans // Sandals // Coin Necklace Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
