What I’ve Worn Lately

Every now and then, I love showing the outfits that I am actually wearing throughout the week and month. With things being so crazy with remodeling and Kilo getting hurt, I thought it would be a good idea to show you my day-to-day outfits. Some are very casual and some are semi-casual. Most days I try to get up, work out, get cleaned up so when my husband gets home, it at least appears I “tried” that day, lol! If he’s home, then girl…I’m all about a pair of joggers or yoga pants. Today I am sharing a few recent finds from Walmart, Amazon, and Target, some of my favorite stores where I can pick up an item that will compliment my staple wardrobe. These outfits happen to be some of the most popular outfits on Pinterest this week also.

The most popular outfit has been this casual-chic little number that is a seriously good buy! I found this puffed sleeve sweater at Walmart and styled them with Ponte Leggings from The Loft (these are a great pant for work also) that happen to be on sale for under $25. These are really nice pull-on pants that can be styled in so many ways. These Fit TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. The puffed sweater is limited insides, you can check them out here for sizes and all the color options. Check out the Magenta color, it really pops for spring!

The cropped cardigan or shorter boyfriend cardigan is a spring and summer trend that takes me back to the late ’80s and ’90s. You will be seeing this style more often as spring fashion keeps dropping. This button-front cardigan is from Target and the yellow is a gorgeous color to wear with all colors of denim and would look adorable with skirts for the spring. It fits TTS and I am wearing a Large in this one and have plenty of room. See the cardigan here.

Some of you love a v-neck blouse and I found this gorgeous 3/4 sleeve Voile Top and styled it with a pair of skinny jeans, but it would look charming and trendy with these straight cropped khakis (which are on sale for 40% off right now) and wedges for the spring. This blouse fits TTS and also comes in multiple prints. See the blouse here.

This was a SUPER casual day for me, in fact, I was wearing a pink tee with my yoga pants and had to step out of the house and threw on this Arctic White marled sweater from Walmart. I have this in 2 colors because I LOVE wearing it so much. I’m going to style this sweater with Camo dress pants this week, so keep an eye out for that. The Danskin Yoga pants are one of my Amazon Finds and I am wearing them nonstop! All items Fit TTS and I am wearing a medium in all of them. See the sweater here.

I will throw on a button-down shirt over a tee when it gets chilly in the house and I snapped this picture last week while I was watching Kilo. I was so surprised to see how many people were saving this outfit, so I decided to share this one too. My camo pants are from Walmart, you may find them in your local store because they are limited in stock online. I did find some adorable jeans that are similar that I am loving here.

We are experiencing a lot of ice in our forecast today, so Brooklyn is with me for virtual school. I’m praying for all of you that have been affected by the recent storms coming through. I have been watching the news, and my heart breaks for Texas, and I know I have some TX girls following. I have wondered how you have been, so know you have a friend here praying for you, your families, and the state. Stay safe, lovelies! XOXO

Good Morning! I thought I would never hate snow and feeezing weather. Thankfully we have power/heat but no running water. My daughter is getting married Saturday and I’m desperate for stores to be open cause of last min stuff I need. Prayers please that stores will open today and I can get all I need. I love all this casual outfits. I would have never thought to pair a striped shirt with the chambray shirt with camo pants. It looks great together. So glad to hear Kilo is doing well. Prayers for Brooklyn’s mom. Stay warm and have a great day.

We have had some crazy times here in north central Texas! We are blessed to just have had rolling blackouts- 45 min of power and 30 min off-but I know many who have been without power for days. Store shelves are empty in my town but our community helps each other out! I was prepared so we are good. I read a book during covid that helped me see the value of being prepared- “Ready for Anything” by Kathi Lipp. Highly recommend!! When we are prepared, we can help others! I love all the casual outfits and hope to pick up some of those items soon! Have a blessed day:)

        Good morning Beverly,
I look forward to your posts, they always give me inspiration and a smile for my day. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so lately I’ve been having to add an extra layer to my outfits. Thankfully it’s supposed to warm up to about 40 degrees next week.
I hope you have a wonderful day, Laurie

Warm up to 40! Whoa! We’ve had so much rain here, our yard looks like a lake. Mud is everywhere yuk! Your comment made me smile, I love hearing from all of you. Let’s me get to know all of you more!! Happy Friday and stay warm❤️

Everything looks great on you as usual. I’m so glad Kilo is doing much better. North Texas was hit hard this week. We went without power for 9 hours, on for 4 hours then back off for 18 hours. We slept on an air mattress in front of the fireplace. Our pool is solid ice and the heat pump for the pool is probably fried. We’ve been lucky that our well has not frozen up. Water main breaks all over Ft. Worth. I have one friend who lost his entire house due to broken pipes. It’s going to have to be torn down and rebuilt. The shelves at the grocery stores are empty. It will be warming up in the coming days so we can all thaw out. Thanks for always having a positive attitude. I enjoy your blog!

Oh my gosh, Robyn that is horrible!! I will certainly be praying for all of you. I saw some pics where the stores were bare!! Wow!! You stay safe and know that you are in our prayers ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Southern Arkansas girl here! We have received about 18 inches of snow- that’s probably more than I’ve seen in the past 15 years altogether! So thankful we have not lost any power and have stayed fairly warm. Thanks for all the styling inspiration!

My kind of casual. Here on the coast we don’t stand on ceremony so simple dressing fits us. We had one bitter cold night at 17 even here and in the low twenties. Lows again tonight and Friday. I think the weekend will bring some relief. I just love camo, leopard, blue chambray shirts and striped tops, They are so versatile in a wardrobe. And my ever faithful blue Jean jacket and boots. Any boots.😊
