Top Faves Of The Week + Sunday Inspiration 11-1-20
It’s Sunday and it’s the first of November girls! Another week has wrapped up and I’m sharing the Top Faves from the blog and social media. Many of the things I shared last week were from Walmart and were a huge hit with you girls. I think we all agree that we love fashion, and we love a great deal! Sunday Inspiration is at the bottom of the post for those that like to read the devotionals I share. Happy Sunday ladies!
You girls certainly love a great deal! This Time and Tru Super Soft Pullover Sweater was the #1 item on the blog this week. We have established, everyone loves a great deal, and now I am learning everyone loves a comfy, cozy sweater. This one certainly delivers on both! This comes in multiple colors and patterns, Fits TTS, and it’s under $12! See it here.
The cutest Sweater Poncho from Target is still crazy popular on the blog! If you haven’t grabbed one, it’s a must-have and would look adorable on your trip to the pumpkin patch. This comes in 3 other color options. If you click here you can see the sweater and if you check out all the pics, you will see me styling it on the Target website. It’s one size and only $25. You will need to wear a shirt underneath.
Did you grab these Snakeskin loafers? Many of you did! These Time and Tru loafers look so pretty with denim and are a very comfortable shoe to wear throughout the day. These are under $20, see them here.
This Sweater Dress by A New Day was a crowd-pleaser also! I styled this a few ways, but my favorite was with the leggings. I just checked the price on this and lo and behold, Target used my pictures for this dress also, lol! This comers in 3 more color options to choose from, see it here.
I wasn’t surprised that this striped turtleneck sweater would be at the top this week. The heart sweater was close, but it was lower in stock, only XL and XS in stock. This striped turtleneck is under $12 and can be worn around the house, work, or church. It’s a wardrobe staple piece to layer underneath jackets and cardigans. It comes in 2 other colors, see it here.
I’m not surprised this Time and Tru Eyelash Leopard Print Sweater was in the top 10. It is super comfortable and was wildly popular on Pinterest. I styled this with coated jeans and leggings with a long white tee underneath for a casual look. I promise you, you will love it! It’s under $17 and comes in brown leopard. See it here.
At #7 is a sweater that I am really loving. This New Directions Long Tunic Sweater is a Doorbuster this weekend and has been on sale for under $19! I am wearing the Woodland Green, but this comes in 7 other color options. This has a hi-lo hem with cute pocket detail on the front. This is a great sweater to wear with leggings or skinny jeans that covers the backside. See the sweater here.
The Time and Tru Cowl Neck Tunic Sweater comes in multiple colors and I have more than one lol! It’s a great piece to wear with jeans, joggers, skirts, or to work. It’s under $17 and Fits TTS. I am wearing a medium for reference. See it here. (Who noticed the gorgeous lavender color option?)
The Eva Grace has been extremely popular with everyone. It definitely is one of my favorite necklaces to wear at least 3-4 times a week. I like the chain links and pearls; it is an outfit maker! It’s only $18, and the stock is low. See it here.
The Juliana Crepe Tunic came in at #10 and was Barry’s favorite out of the entire week. This tunic has a hi-lo hemline, Fits TTS, comes in multiple pattern options, and looks great with leggings or jeans. It’s a very versatile top that can be worn casual or as workwear. See it here. This is a Doorbuster and should be under $17. See it here.

AS I read my short devotional story this morning, this one really hit home for me. It mainly made me think that I was Rose it a degree and I had let some of the most important things in my life get pushed to the side. How often does this happen in life? A lot! Then I thought about how many people are brought up in church and let time, the world, and jobs forget the foundations that we’re taught to them as a young child. I hope you enjoy this devotional as much as I did!
“I’m still here.” All night long Ruben had been patiently waiting, trying to get his wife’s attention. He longed to spend time with her.
“I know,” Rose replied, hardly lifting her head from the pile of papers she was sorting. “But there’s just so much to do!”
Rose rubbed her tired head, thinking about how she needed to remember to pull out the meat for tomorrow’s dinner. She could still smell the aroma from the cookies she’d baked earlier to bring to some elderly neighbors. She needed to remember to put up those dishes before she went to bed. Oh, and a friend had asked her to look up something on the Internet for her — she couldn’t forget that.
“Rose, do you remember back to when we were courting and first married?” Ruben’s words interrupted her thoughts. “How we used to spend hours just talking and laughing together?”
Rose paused and looked up. Yes, she remembered. Ruben saw the answer in her face and continued, “What happened to that love you had?”
The words cut her to the quick. What had happened? In those early days, life was still busy, but she always made time to spend with Ruben. In fact, she remembered how they’d text throughout the day here and there, as hours seemed so long when apart. Everything in her centered around when she’d get to see him next. She lived off less sleep, choosing to stay up to talk with him. And her poor friends had listened to her talk about him for hours — every conversation had somehow included him.
Now, she hardly talked about him — and her discussions with him were quick and distracted. She’d say hi while also checking her texts and moving the wash along. He was still what he’d always been — loving, caring, and trying to minister to her. But she’d been ignoring him.
Rose set her papers down, tears now streaming down her cheeks. She’d been doing a lot of good things, but she had let the most important get buried.
“‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.” Revelation 2:2-5a (ESV)
