Now & Later Workwear

Happy Friday everyone! I am so excited for the weekend! I have Brooklyn here and in a few days we all will be going to the beach on our last family beach trip this year. This will be a short getaway but nonetheless everyone seems to be very excited!

This week I have been trying to devote a series to “Now & Later” outfit inspiration and today is no different. This is a great workwear outfit or a night out outfit. One of my followers (Kelly) has asked about an outfit to wear to a class reunion,so it made me think about what I wore to mine. The outfit I styled today is almost identical to the outfit I wore to my 25th High School Reunion. This is great if it’s chilly outside or if you want to hit the dance floor, you can ditch the jacket and have a ball!

I am styling a pair of belted light beige ankle pants from White House Black Market. There are only sizes 12 and 14 in Regular and Petite sizes left if interested here is the link. Otherwise, I have found some great pants that are very similar below.

A pair of cream/beige/off-white slacks are a perfect pant for Fall weather. You can wear it with any top, it goes with any color, cardigans (short and long) look great with it, and you have the option of wearing a blazer or denim jacket. It’s the perfect pant! Remember, just because Fall is coming you don’t have to stick with the same ole color of pants, like black, gray, and khaki. You have options! Choose burgundy, olive, red, plaid, or a great pair of cream color pants! Explore with colors!

Since I was feeling like leopard print shoes today, I chose a Sleeveless Jersey V-neck blouse from Belk. I love a black top that I can layer and this one is perfect. It takes me through every season and that’s what I’m looking for. Something versatile and flattering! Plus, the look of black and white will never go out of style! You will always look chic in these colors, especially with the leather moto jacket!

I am loving the dupe LV purse I recently acquired from the infamous Amazon! I have gotten a little “tight” over the years with my purses, and I don’t mind carrying a “dupe” or “inspired by” at all. This was only $29.99 and it’s deep like a bucket handbag. The dimensions are 12.3”L X 11.5”H X 6.8”D. It is NOT as big as the Neverfull bag, but it’s perfect for me! See it HERE.

Let’s talk about this black leather moto jacket! I have been on the hunt for a nice, quality, moto jacket that fits well. One that can be worn with jeans, pants, skirts, and dresses and I finally found it! I used Amazon Prime Wardrobe and ordered 6 leather coats and finally decided on this Levis Racer Faux Leather Jacket. It hits right at the hip, it’s machine washable (I will never do that), and it feels like quality leather (not lamb leather)! See it HERE. It also fits TTS.

If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a leather moto jacket all day, then switch it up with a cardigan or blazer. When I was an accountant, the bank kept it so cold in the office, I was always layered up. Fall is all about layering, it gets warm during the day and cooler at night…have fun with it and don’t stress!
