Fashion Outfits: Week in Review
Good Sunday morning ladies, I hope your week and weekend has been full of fun and happiness. We have had Brooklyn and it has been very busy, to say the least. I love when she comes over to stay with us, she makes me feel like I am 28 again with small kids. I can see my husband get an extra spark in him when she’s around too. Who knew a grandchild could bring so much joy and love!! And make you spend your money and
I have spent the majority of the week getting my house decluttered and took a few days off from the blog. I thought I would catch all of you up today with a ” Week In Review” post of what was going on “behind the scenes of the blog” on Instagram and Pinterest. Utility Jacket is Trending This Season
I have slowly been working through my closet and actually found quite a few pieces that I have forgotten I had. I used some of these for Weekend Outfit Ideas or Casual Outfits for Pinterest. Although, I did get a really cute Utility Jacket (it’s actually called a Faux Suede Drawstring Parka– but it’s a utility jacket lol) from JustFab that I am LOVING! If you are not a VIP member with JustFab then you are missing out. I grabbed up this utility jacket and a cute Brad Satchel in Gray for only $39.95. The leopard booties are from Sole Society, Tashia Block Heel Boot Heel Bootie. These are more of a muted leopard print, and the block heel makes them comfortable to wear all day! Plus they are 50% off right now!! Sole Society is having an end of season sale of up to 60% OFF!!
The necklace is a Faceted Slate Bead Necklace from JBloom Designs, I added a Gold Framed Medium Coin charm to it to give it a pop! I had Mom. Wife. Boss. engraved on mine. I love these pieces JBloom has because I can personalize them, you can check out the website HERE…but make sure you look at the items you can personalize too! Outfit Ideas With a Denim Jacket
A few weeks back I was browsing on Amazon … I love their clothes!! You must try the Amazon Prime Wardrobe – I LOVE IT!!! Anyway, I have somehow lost my denim jacket, so I decided to look me a replacement that was not too expensive but would hold up for years to come. I found the cutest one that is a great price point that I’m sharing today.
I bought a Riders by Lee Indigo Women’s Stretch Denim Jacket it has some stretch to it and wears great. It wears so great I’ve worn it twice this week to work. You can pair this with pants, skirts or dresses. I am 5’8′ and bought a Large, it fits me perfect, I normally wear a Medium to a Large in shirts and sweaters. I’m kind of broad through the shoulders and I like a bigger size in my jackets in case I am wearing sweaters. (Don’t mind the mess in my bedroom, I was cleaning the closet out – I hate that job!!)
The booties I am wearing, and I must say these are probably my most worn boots of this Fall/Winter season, are from Pierre Dumas. The picture really doesn’t do this justice, these boots are a light beige in suede with a block heel and even though they have a “western” look – you can wear these with anything. They are especially cute with your skinny jeans rolled up or cuffed at the hem. These are from Amazon and are on sale for $26.00, these are half price right now and are a great steal! They are called Pierre Dumas Women’s Rimini-3 Heel Bootie Taupe.
I also purchased this striped tunic with elbow p
I am wearing Keds Double Decker Pref Suede in Dark Grey for my shoes in this picture. Keds has so many color options in these cute slip-on tennis shoe, from glitter to leopard to velvet/denim. The ones I am wearing are on sale right now for $29.95, which is a great deal. I think I paid around $50 for mine back in the summer.
The jeans I am wearing in both these outfits are from American Eagle, I bought these jeans a few years back. Surprisingly, these are still available! What I like about these jeans, is they have great stretch and are higher waisted to hold me together. The destroyed part of the jeans has material underneath it so your skin does not show. They are on sale now for $44.96, which is great! I remember buying these when they first came out for about forty more bucks than that. They are called AE Ne(X)t Level Jegging in Indigo.
Another way I styled my new denim jacket is with a black v neck top and these cute Pull-On Jeggings in cabernet denim from JustFab. Told you JustFab had some cute clothes!! These are super comfy and have pockets in the back, side slits at the hem Which will look great with booties and a piece that can transition over to Spring with heels or strappy sandals. They are only $26.95 right now!
The necklace is from JBloom Designs, it’s called the Galina Glass Bead Necklace and it’s 45″, so you can wear it as a long choker or tie it like I did. This color goes with so many things, I wore it more in the Summer, but this still ranks as one of my faves! (Booties are the same ones listed above – told you they wear good and I wear the pudding out of them!!) lol 🙂
Well, ladies, it’s Sunday morning and it’s time for me to get ready to go to church. I hope you all have a great Sunday and have a relaxing day before we go back to work. Thanks for stopping by the blog and be looking for the rest of my decluttering project here at home. The kitchen and closets have been a JOB! I don’t know why I get like this, but after Christmas, it seems I have to jump in and get my home reorganized. Are any of you doing the same thing? I’d love to hear and see your ideas for organizing your home. Drop a comment below – scroll all the way down and give me some love girls!
Scripture for this Sunday
