Puffer Vests and Plaid Button Down

This week has been so busy, it seems like all the days have run together. Although they were busy, I have absolutely had the best time this week! I’ve been getting ready for a fashion show for our local Women’s Club and it has been rush, rush, rush. We actually had the show today and everything was so fun!! Mimosas on the porch, then a little lunch and we finished up with the fashion show from three local Boutiques. If you don’t get involved with your local groups, I highly recommend it -the fellowship alone is great, not to mention you get to be a part of a good cause. We all have a little time to share…somewhere 🙂

So, I was looking through my closet and found a vest I ordered and totally forgot about it, of course, I couldn’t wait to pull it out and build an outfit – and this one didn’t disappoint! I decided to throw my hair up in a messy bun and roll with it! It’s been a busy week and to be honest, the messy bun look matched my “Chaos Coordinator” title well! Since I normally post early on Sundays with Coffee & Girl Talk-which was an epic fail today! I decided to throw in the outfit I wore Saturday to our Fashion Show rehearsal. I got quite a few compliments on it and knew it was one I wanted to share with all of you! This is not only a great weekend outfit, but it would also be GREAT up at the mountains – just thinking of the gorgeous mountains of North Carolina makes me want to go! In time…. I hope lol!!

I paired an Old Navy Lightweight Quilted Vest with a cute Red Plaid Boyfriend Shirt, I added American Eagle High Waisted Jeggings and Rolled the Hem for my look and topped it off with the cute Soda Chop Out Low Heel Booties. These are some of my faves!!!

Each Thanksgiving my brother and sister-in-law host our family and I am so excited to see all the kids. They all have grown up, not one kid is under the age of 18 now – boy time flies! We do get to take Brooklyn along to liven up the place and I’m sure she will! Whew- a little box of ENERGY!!! We want you to know that we pray you all to have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your families!! Oh, and be on the lookout for Black Friday Deals!! Hi Beverly…I love the look of plaid flannel shirts, jeans, boots and a puffer vest…I must admit I have a collection in my closet of this look! SO cool, relaxed and just crazy fun! Can we talk flannel plaid in black and white? I am having the most difficult time finding these colors? Most are too expensive or sold out! Any thoughts? Oh and by the way I love my monogramed vest I recently purchased (Jackpot Box)!
