10 Useful Body Care Tips and Tricks

Every girl wants to look their best and I have some tips for you. Fortunately, you don’t need to splurge on expensive beauty products to achieve a vibrant look. There are certain effective home remedies that will help you obtain the best results. Let’s start right in with the good stuff!

1. A saltwater solution will help reduce swelling and give your face a fresh look.

Dissolve salt in water (the solution should be quite concentrated), soak the towel in the solution, and apply it to your face for 10 minutes.

2. Make your lips appear fuller and sexier with an oil and a toothbrush.

Apply any cosmetic oil to your lips — peach oil, almond oil, or regular lip balm. Then take a soft toothbrush, and rub gently on your lips for 1 minute. (Add sugar and you will have a homemade lip scrub, I use this with coconut oil).

3. Use olive oil to get glowing and moisturized skin.

Massaging your face with olive oil helps to make your skin clean, soft, smooth, and matte. First, steam your face, and then massage the oil into your face for about 7 minutes. To achieve the best results, repeat the procedure every 4-5 days.

4. Honey can help reduce inflammation and get rid of acne.

If you get a pimple on your face right before a big date or an important meeting, there is a way to get rid of it quickly. Apply some honey on the acne, and leave it for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water. This method will help you reduce the size of a pimple and make it less noticeable so that you can easily hide it with makeup.

5. Use eye drops to reduce inflammation on your face.

6. All-natural homemade makeup remover.

Mix a 3:1 ratio of clean water to olive oil in a glass jar, and shake it well so that the ingredients combine properly. That’s it!

7. Baking soda can help get rid of ingrown hair.

This homemade body scrub is really easy to make. In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of ground oatmeal, and 1 tablespoon of water. Stir well until you get a thick paste. Apply the mixture to the skin, and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then rinse with hot water.

8. Use baking soda to reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes.

Add a teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of hot water or tea, and stir well. Soak a cotton pad in this mixture, and then apply it to the area under your eyes. Wait for about 10-15 minutes, then wash any residue off and use a moisturizing cream. Repeat this procedure every day, and you’ll soon notice results!

9. Banana hair mask for healthy shiny hair.

To prepare this mask you will need: 1 banana, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/2 glass of dark beer. Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, and stir until smooth. Apply the mixture to your hair for a couple of hours. Then wash it off with warm water. Use this mask once a week, and you’ll see astonishing results very quickly!

10. Use a coconut and lavender oil mix to grow longer eyelashes.

Combine 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil with 2 to 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Using a cotton pad or Q-tip, gently apply the mixture to the lashes, covering them from root to tip. Follow this remedy at least three times a week, and your eyelashes will become thicker and shinier with time.

You can also use castor oil or lemon zest for this purpose.

Some of these you may have heard about before, but some I’m sure are all new. Pinterest is filled these days with DIY all-natural ways to eat, cleaning products and yes beauty products. Seems everyone is on the all natural kick. Nothing wrong with that, it worked for ages before we started putting bad stuff in our bodies and on our bodies. Hope you enjoyed these tips and tricks!
