So today I am sharing some items that are on sale (some items are limited in sizes) and items that can easily be worn now and later. Transition outfits are super important during the spring and fall, especially since the temperature can change quickly from morning to mid-day. I like to get more bang for my buck and these are some items that I am loving! If you love a ruffle toke dress, this one is a keeper! This dress has side pockets that add functionality with soft, lightweight fabric that will be comfortable now and later. This is a cute dress to consider for work or church that won’t break the bank. Add a cute bag and a great statement bracelet to dress it up. This fits TTS, and I am wearing a medium for reference. This comes in two more colors, see it here. For all my handbag splurgers, this Coach bag I picked up is $150 off! See it below the picture. Do you love a square-neck top? I love them and Old Navy has the cutest sleeveless top that I had to grab. This is a crochet-yoke slub-knit tank top that is uber comfortable! This fits TTS (I am wearing a medium) and comes in other color options. It’s on sale for only $20. See the tank here. Are you a fan of the slub-knit material? I found this short sleeve eyelet dress from Target and I think the color is so pretty! I am seeing a lot of mauve and cocoa colors coming out this fall, and I love it! I love this crinkle split-neck blouse from Loft. The color is what caught my eye, to begin with, so when I finally got it, I realized this was a great blouse for work or play. My jeans are from Abercrombie & Fitch and have just enough edge in them without feeling like a teenager. Can you believe fall fashion will be dropping in just a few weeks? I guess by the end of July everyone is getting tired of summer fashion and ready for a change. I am a fall fashion LOVER and I am super excited to start picking out items and seeing what will be trending. Until then, I will keep posting outfits that can be worn for a while plus items that can be worn into the fall or year-round. But, now is a great time to snag all the deals since retailers will be marking items down, and we all love a great deal! I am in love with this mixed media v-neck short-sleeve shirt from Gap Factory. This is a great shirt for work or play and a great top that can take you into fall easily. Right now it is 50% off and under $20! It’s totally worth it! My khakis are from last year and are sold out. I did find an almost identical pair in the same lighter color at J. Crew Factory and they are on sale for 43% off, see them here. I found this gorgeous crossover peplum top at Madewell when I was looking for jeans. Have you tried Madewell jeans? Oh my gosh, they are some of my favorite wearing jeans of all time! Anywho…I found this top and loved the color and style so much that I decided to try it out. Madewell is a higher-end company and I am so glad they offer Afterpay! This is a cute blouse to style with jeans or shorts and I love it with the looser jeans and sandals. See the peplum blouse here. I worried it may fit a little snug through the chest area, so I bought a large and I am glad I did, especially with the snap closure. The cigarette jeans are on sale for 21% off plus an extra 40% with code GFBONUS. See the jeans here. If you love straight black skinny jeans, grab these from Target, because they fit perfect! These are a mid-rise jean with a chewed hem and slight distressing. These are skinny jeans, so I am wearing a size 10. They have fabulous stretch and they are definitely keepers! I can’t wait to style these with booties this fall! These are under $25 and they come in multiple denim shades also. See them here. Aren’t they so cute?? They are totally must-haves for fall! Another Target find was this cute boat neck smocked hem t-shirt. It’s only $12 and wears great – now that’s a fantastic duo, lol! This comes in more color options too, see it here. The shorts are the retro boy shorts by Scoop. I love these shorts to wear around the house, they are super comfortable, but they may be because I accidentally bought them a size too big, ha! These shorts should fit tighter than mine, but I am still showing them since I love them so much, plus they are only $11! These come in multiple colors, see them here. Have you tried the linen tees from Target yet? I absolutely LOVE these tees, and for $12, I can afford to buy a few. This mint striped tee looks adorable with the white straight twill pants from the Loft (40% off with code TREAT). I am wearing a medium in the tee and have plenty of room since there is a tad bit of stretch in it. These tees are perfect for layering with blazers, cardis, and jackets. See the tee here. While Barry was having his surgery, I headed out to grab breakfast and stopped in at the Gap Factory to look around. I found this cute peplum white blouse that is only $10 and is so adorable! I also found those cute jean joggers that I have been looking for and they are so much “cooler looking” wearing them on you than they are in pictures online. The white v-neck shirt also caught my eye and it’s also a perfect top for now and later – did I say it was only $15? I mixed it up a bit and tried on the camo joggers, these fit TTS and I can’t wait to style them with a denim jacket or a cute beige cardigan for fall with booties or sneakers. I love the LOGO joggers and I have been wanting a pair in white, so I wasted no time grabbing them up. I accidentally grabbed a large instead of a medium, so these are a tad baggy on me. I did go back and get my size (medium) but had to head back to the hospital so I couldn’t get a picture. This color is 40% off, but some colors are as low as $14! See the jogger here. The dolman luxe tee has a relaxed fit and is only $14. I love that I can wear this off-the-shoulder for a relaxed look. Last up is the striped button-down that drew me to it like a moth to a flame! This summer, as boring as it was, has flown by. Time certainly flies by a lot faster when you get out of school. Do you remember when you were younger and school seemed to drag by? Once you got out and started ‘adulting”, time started flying by. Well, here we are embarking on Fall Fashion. This is typically the time fashion bloggers style Now & Later (or transition) outfits. Today I am styling a few old and a few new things to show how you can transition your cute items right into the fall. This longer sleeved Eyelet Peasant top is super cute and can be worn in different ways. I have it off the shoulder, but it is made to be worn on the shoulders – so the option is there, either way, you feel like wearing it. I would size down if purchasing this, I wish I had. I paired it with the bright papaya 7-inch chino shorts from Talbots and they are on sale for $22. These shorts come in multiple color options and fit TTS. If you love neutrals, this would pair so gorgeous with the khaki shorts and sandals. Outfit Details: // Blouse // Shorts // Handbag // White Wrap Bracelet // Criss Cross Sandals We all love a target run, and this cute sleeveless Prologue blouse in gray has been a happy purchase for me. This looks great with shorts, jeans, or under a blazer for the fall. The blouse fits TTS and is flowy in the mid-section. It covers the bottom, which I liked, and has two buttons at the neck for closure. ThisĀ also comes in a pretty orange color that is perfect for fall. I styled it with skinny white jeans that may or may not be a little too tight, ha! I added a pair of open-toe booties and a leopard belt. I could easily add a duster or long cardigan or even a denim jacket with this for a fall look. Outfit Details: // Blouse // Jeans (similar) // Leopard Belt // Booties (similar) // Bracelet This thin striped cardigan is a must-have for your fall wardrobe. I have styled this with different looks for well over a year and I am not tired of it yet! The sizes are limited in the white and black, but the gray with white stripes is fully stocked and super cute also. If you like a bolder stripe, check this one out from Amazon Here. This is cute with a chambray shirt, or even the gingham top I styled from the Amazon Try-On Haul, see it here. I mixed my patterns and added a leopard sleeveless top and distressed jeans. Outfit Details: // Striped Cardigan // Leopard Tank (similar)// Jeans // Booties (similar) For a totally different look, you can add the almond denim skirt that is on sale for $12. This would look so cute with knee-high boots also. This skirt is a piece that can be worn in so many ways, whether it’s dressier or more casual. It’s a great staple piece to add to your wardrobe and you can’t even tell that it’s actually a denim skirt but has stretch that you will love. See the skirt here. Runs a little big, I took my original skirt back and sized down to this one. It’s a snugger fit, but the material does stretch out as you wear it. Pieces that you will be able to wear over and over during the chillier seasons are the cardigan and the leopard tank. This cute skirt is my favorite out of all the outfits today. This is a floral paper-bag tie-waist skirt that is under $20. It has stretch to it with pockets and fits superb! I loved this skirt for many reasons but mainly because of the fit and I can wear it now and later in the fall! I styled this with a racerback tank from Madewell but would look so cute with booties and a sweater this fall (you will see this again, I’m sure!). This outfit shot to the top of Pinterest and Instagram with views and likes in only one day! It fits TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. Outfit Details: // Tank // Skirt // Sandals If you like a dressier linen-blend pant then these are a keeper! I immediately loved these as soon as I tried them on. They are slimming and elongates the legs to make you appear longer and leaner. The cute belt also adds a little “extra” to the pant also. These are a pull-on style with elastic in the back of the waistband and are only $17.99. These fit TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference. Outfit Details: // Halter Top (limited sizes) // Pants // Wedges Have you tried the Tide-Dye trend? This is a subtle tie-dye dress that is very comfy and casual for an everyday outfit or a weekend look. This Fits TTS and I am wearing a medium in it, these are limited in sizes so I added more options from Cato in the carousel below this picture. This skirt gives you nice coverage plus it’s super cute with tops and sandals this summer, but it will be a winner this fall with boots and a long cardigan. I styled it with this cute Black Flutter Trim Top, this is sold out online but is still available in stores. Each item fits TTS and I am wearing an 8 in the skirt and a medium in the top. I bought my regular size in this linen-blend top and wish I had sized down to a small. This is a cute top to wear with denim and white, plus you can add a blazer with this for the fall also. My Jeans are KanCan Distressed jeans from last year and are not available any longer. Although, I did find a similar pair and linked them in the jeans section in the outfit details. It is my #1 website that I am on the most, from groceries to clothing, they have it all and with 2-day shipping, I was hooked from the get-go. Like most women, I will browse and put items in my shopping cart or get the Prime Wardrobe Box and try new things. Amazon has a few brands of their own that I have come to try out and enjoy. If you are new to the Amazon Fashion lines, check out Lark and Ro, Amazon Essentials, and Daily Ritual. These 3 brands offer affordable fashion for women of all ages and body shapes. The Amazon Essentials line is one of my favorites at Amazon because they offer basic wardrobe essentials at a great price. If you are looking to build your wardrobe with essentials, I would recommend scrolling through what they have to offer to give you an idea of what “basics” you may need. This gingham black and white top that I am styling is a great essential to think about adding to your wardrobe. Think now and later. This top can be worn as I have styled it today, but think what you can do with it in the fall and winter. Add a colorful sweater or cardigan over this for a cute fall look, or tie it at your waist with a tank underneath it and a pair of shorts for now. This Fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference. This comes in several different color options, but I am loving the black and white because it will be the most versatile for me throughout the year. See the blouse here. The jeans I am styling are Levi’s Boyfriend Cropped Jeans. These are a mid-rise jean that sits right below your waist. There is some stretch in these jeans and the inseam is 27-inches unrolled and 25-inches rolled up. I really liked these jeans for the fit and style plus they will look stylish with booties in the fall. These jeans fit TTS and I am wearing a size 8 for reference. There is minimal distressing that does not show much skin. See the jean here, I am styling the Hawaii Blue denim. My sandals are the Abella Taya Wedge Sandal and they are on sale right now for under $40. These are some of the most popular sandals on the blog and they have a 4.5-star rating. I wear these all the time with jeans and shorts and have really enjoyed them. These fit TTS and also come in black. I am wearing the cognac color, see them here. I want to thank all of you that have been checking on me, it has meant so much to me!! I now know that I have BPPV Vertigo and it can last anywhere from a week to two weeks…or longer. I am believing I will be back to normal soon, although I am in and out of the bed still. While I am having a good day, I am going to squeeze every ounce I can into my day- so let’s talk kimonos for now and later! We all know we can wear a kimono with our shorts, skirts, work pants or dresses. Taking them into cooler weather with jeans is the most fun look for me. I recently purchased this sheer jade kimono from Tee For The Soul Boutique for a family beach trip coming up, but loved the color so much I had to share! These do come in multiple colors, you can see those here. I like Tee For The Soul because they show each item in 2 options – regular and curvy!! I paired this with my favorite American Eagle jeans and a white v-neck camisole (similar). Something about this jade color makes me happy! It’s a great color, it’s sheer and you can wear it with so many colors. So the options are wonderful! This would look great with gray jeans or chinos also! I love a longer kimono, it just gives you a long and leaner look – everyone likes that! I tied the ends up to give it a cocoon look – this looks cute with shorts tied up also. I am wearing Dr. Scholl’s Esque wedges, if you are looking a cute wedge that can be worn through color weather that feel great on your feet – I would look into these shoes. These are some of th most comfortable wedges I have worn – they have great cushion in them! I am wearing the Egyptian Gold Earrings from jBloom, I loved these at first sight. Something about them takes me back to the ’90s (or ’80s) and I think about that song Walk Like An Egyptian – those were the days of youth and fun! LOL!! The ark necklace I am wearing is from this month’s Bloom Box (which I LOVED) and the Bora Bora beaded necklace which I attached a wired cross charm to give it a different look. I usualy wear this wired cross charm on a bracelet, but wanted to show how versatile the pieces are and how you can design different looks to wear. I love trying new looks with bracelets and the Sienna big bead bracelet is so fun to wear! I paired it with the Tinsley bracelet in Rose Gold (Forgiven personalized on it) and the Alaya Wrap that has proven to be a great piece that goes with so many of my outfits! Remember that beads, mixing metals and stacks are going to be very popular this Fall and a hot trend! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
