13 Fall Looks With Walmart

In today’s post, I wanted to take a few pieces from Walmart and make multiple outfits showing you how I created different looks while staying on budget. YAY! I haven’t done a post like this in a while, so I thought it would be a great time to mix and match my new Walmart Finds. Many of these items are closet staples and can easily be worn dressy or casual, versatile pieces are my favorite kind of finds! Be sure to Pin your favorites to Pinterest so you can recreate the outfits later! Hope you enjoy it!

A duster or long cardigan is a staple item for me year round, I love wearing them with dresses, twills, and even shorts. This Time and Tru Ribbed Duster is going to be one of your favorite layering pieces! Style this duster with jeans, skirts, leggings, or dresses – I love this soft duster and I know it will be on my rotation list! This duster comes in more colors, has some stretch in it and fits TTS (wearing a medium for reference). See the duster here. I also picked up a white button-down shirt by Time and Tru to have a lightweight layering shirt which is a must-have capsule piece. I am wearing a large in the button-down for reference and it comes in more colors, see it here. The denim joggers I am wearing are from Amazon and one of the blog’s Best Sellers! See the joggers here.

Here are more looks with the Time and Tru Duster I hope you love! I found a pull-on slip skirt at Walmart and thought it would be an item that I could wear multiple ways this fall and winter. I love it with the white button-down shirt styled with the duster, but the stretchy belt really makes the outfit stand out! The skirt comes in more patterns and colors, fits tts (wearing a medium for reference in python), see the skirt here. The black dress I am wearing is a woven tiered dress by Time and Tru…be prepared to fall in love..cause I certainly did! The dress is a soft, lightweight corduroy material and looks so much cuter in person than it does online. It has a v-neck neckline with button detail, the sleeves can be worn different ways by pushing the sleeves up or down for whatever look you are going for. I showed it alone and with the duster below. See the dress here. It comes in more colors, fits tts (I am wearing a medium in this dress for reference), and I styled it with the most comfy cognac boots by Time and Tru. I love these because of the versatilty, and the soles are a sturdy rubber, so when walking in these – you don’t “clank” and the soles makes it comfortable to walk in all day. See the boots here.

Slouchy vests are still hot and trendy this fall and I found this cute mocha/camel vest at Walmart and had to have it! I styled it with the slip skirt in python (more colors and patterns available) and J.Crew Factory girlfriend chinos for two looks. Fashion Hack: To get the look with the skirt, I put a thin belt around my waist on my skin, then tucked the shirt and sweater under the belt to get the tucked look without the bulk. The vest comes in more colors, has a slight oversized fit and very lightweight for layering. See the vest here. My navy girlfriend chinos are on sale for 50% off right now, they fit TTS, and comes in more colors as well. See the chinos here.

If you love coordinating sets, this Time and Tru Cardigan and Skirt set may be for you! I like this set because you can wear it as a casual set with sneakers or dress it up with booties or heels. You can also mix and match the pieces with other items to broaden your outfit choices, which is a win/win! This set is a soft brushed ribbed knit with a v-neck cardigan and a pull-on midi-skirt with a side split. This has stretch and offers total comfort all day! I am wearing a medium in this and it comes in more color options. Grab the set for under $25 here.

Whites and neutrals are also trending this fall and layering whites together is also becoming a hot trend. I layerd the white button down shirt with this Time and Tru mixed stitch sweater two different ways. I styled the layered look with the gray skirt from the set above with taupe slouchy boots and a cute quilted crossbody bag for a trendy work outfit. For a casual weekend look, I decided to style it with the pull-on denim joggers with the same slouchy boots, but would love it with cute heels or ankle booties. The sweater has a semi-relaxed fit, comes in more colors, and is only $17! This sweater is a definite keeper! See the sweater here.

I really liked this Quilted Puff Sleeve top (it cooridinates with these joggers) to wear with jeans, or with work dress pants, but I decided to style it with the pull-on slip skirt. The quilted top fits tts (I’m wearing a medium) and comes in more colors and I really love it with the cognac boots with this outfit. It’s lightweight and the puffed sleeves is trendy and can dress up any outfit with ease. See the quilted top here.

This Time and Tru flutter sleeve dress is a great option for an easy work outfit or a casual outfit for a weekend dinner. The swing style is comfortable and I love the way it looks with the faux suede moto jacket from Amazon! I am wearing a medium in the dress, a large in the jacket (it has plenty of stretch, more colors, and a Best Seller). See the dress here. *All outfit links and sizes below

I love these posts. The different options are so helpful! Thanks for all the great ideas! So hard to pick a favorite, I think I would have to pick the quilted jacket and pull on skirt.

I’m crushing on the python skirt with the camel vest outfit! 😍 Too cute. I saw there was spandex listed for the material of the button down. Hoping it doesn’t feel “stretchy” … I don’t like that in a button down. Loved this post. Just wondering if you tried a medium also in it? Not sure what size to get.

I absolutely loved this post! I know that it has been a long time since I have written but this past year has been unbelievably challenging. I know that you have had one of those years as well. I really want to clean out my closet and try to make a capsule wardrobe at least for my work outfits which need to be ‘Business Casual” so this post was very timely and gives me some great ideas. Today is my birthday and it feels as though you gave me a very nice present with this post, thank you my friend 🙂

Help! I can’t find the Time and Tru Slouch Boots Size 10. I was going to order one of each color. The link is saying “Out of Stock”. Do you know if they will be restock or once they are sold out, they are gone.

I love seeing how to use basic pieces in different ways. Love the hack with the belt and ticking the vest. Great idea and great look! Will try it.
