7 New Fall Looks: Now & Later Style

Are you ready to see a few fall fashion outfits that can be worn now and later? I know it is still warm, and a lot of us are not thinking about booties or sweaters, but…we all know how the hot trends get gone quick! So, I decided to dive into some of the newer items that are trending and start putting together some looks that we can wear now and later. I am totally loving this V-Neck Floral Swing Dress from Old Navy. This is a dress that can be worn now and later, you can style this with sandals now or with booties and a denim jacket later. A great dress that can take you from work to weekend easily. This fits TTS, I am wearing a large for reference. It has long blouson sleeves that has elastic cuffs with an empire waist that gives you an A-line shape that is flattering for any shape. Use code MORE to get this dress for $28. All my Loft lovers will love this striped sweater that’s also great for now and later. Style it with shorts or a cute pair of linen joggers or with a pair of your favorite denim jeans and booties. This is another piece that can be worn for workwear or for a casual outfit on the weekend. This sweater has cute buttons on the shoulder that give it a little attitude and makes the sweater stand out. All off you know I am a fan of the new Candace Cameron Bure fashion line at QVC, and I literally cannot get enough! Girls, if you haven’t tried the wide leg stretch twill pants, you must give them a try! They are some of the most comfortable twills I have ever worn, and they don’t get baggy in the butt, which is HUGE! I have two pairs of these and love both and would buy more but that might be going overboard so I will stop with two, lol! I decided on the olive color since I would get a lot of wear out of them in the fall and winter season, and I love it with the open-stitch sweater. These hit right above my ankle and I am 5’7″, I am wearing the regular length for reference. These come in petite length also. See the stretch twills here. I promise you will love them! Ok, let’s talk about the Old Navy Raw-Hem Boyfriend Straight Jeans I showed in the picture above. Grab ’em and growl girls, these are HOT! I don’t normally talk like that, but these jeans are so on point and trendy! I just los them!! These are more fitted than the regular boyfriend cut and the raw hem is super cute with booties, sandals, or heels. These have slight distressing that give the jeans just a little bit of a younger feel but not giving up any modesty. Perfect for all us girls over 50 who want to cover things up more than we did in our younger days. I styled it with the Peter Pan Collar Sweater from Target and taupe booties, and I love the look. I think it is a cute casual chic outfit that’s trendy for women of all ages. What do you think? I am wearing a size 10 in the jeans and they fit perfectly. See the jeans here.

How do you like this textured sweater I found at Target? It is screaming my name, cause I love the way this sweater looks on and off the rack! Loving the trendy puff sleeves and the texture is super cute with denim and twills. I styled it with these cute twill joggers from Old Navy. Doesn’t the sweater dress these joggers up instantly? The twill joggers come in different colors and are incredibly soft, and can be worn dressed up or casual with a sweatshirt and sneakers. The joggers are on sale for only $24! I still love a great pair of skinny jeans, especially ones that are as comfortable as my jogging pants! I am always on the hunt for jeans that are comfortable, and even though I love the skinny jeans, I sometimes feel too snug in them. Maybe it is my age, but I want to be able to move freely and when I tried these jeans from Express, I was so excited to finally have a pair that checks all my boxes! These jeans fit like a glove and super comfortable to wear. I had to give them the bend, squat, lunge, sit on the floor, pull my knees up to my chest test, and it passed! HA!! I styled them with a really cute Kut From The Kloth suede moto jacket I found at Nordstrom. I had a coupon for $35 and snagged this for hardly nothing. The jacket is as soft as butter and comes in two more color options, I am wearing the Buff color in a size Large. Both the jeans and jacket fit TTS; outfit details are below the picture.

For all the comfy, casual loungewear lovers, this set from Target is one you may want to try. Ok, I must admit when I was wearing this outfit, I was feeling it, however…when I loaded the picture onto the post, I had a sudden flash back to the movie Grease and Danny trying out for sports in the jogger set, HAHAHA!!! These joggers are some of the softest you will find, especially for the price! The Stars Above sweatshirt is a tad fitted, so I would size up if you want it to have a more relaxed feel and look. Thanks for stopping by the blog girls! It has been a busy weekend for us moving Raegan back in and getting the rooms pulled back together.       I think I like the Old Navy dress. Cute look, plus, I’ve been on the hunt for a fall/winter phone wallet crossbody. Hubby bought me a Spartina one 2 Christmases ago that I use spring/summer…it is perfect for all I need and I love it! Just need something like it for fall/winter and that one fits the bill.     Thank you for your time and efforts on the outfits and posting. I totally am recreating the jogger outfit and the moto jacket outfit. I have a couple pair of twill/rayon joggers, and struggle with what top to wear with them, this post showed me the style top, and reminded me to wear a dressier shoe/heel with the joggers to level them up.     Good Morning ☀️ Wow I just love every look you styled. My absolute fave is the olive wide leg pants with that open stitch sweater. I have been eying the wide leg pants but have yeg gave in and bought me a pair. Looks like I’m gonna have to give in. Haha. You and Raegan have a wonderful girls day together. I will be doing some major house cleaning today. Once this coffee kicks in 😆 I can’t wait till fall weather gets here.

    I love my ON jeans! You look so tiny and slim in your photos! It surprises me sometimes the sizes you wear. Do you just like to wear clothes bigger and baggier?

      I’ve always looked like a stringbean for some reason lol!! When I gain weight, I get thicker, not wider for some reading. It’s really weird. Ever since I got mono in early 2020, I cannot stand to wear really fitted clothing for long periods of time. I feel like I’m suffocating. They are going to send me to a neurologist to check for MS. Something has went terribly wrong since I caught that virus. Although, I had it half a year with really high levels before they tested me for it. So, at this time, a little looser is my style, and when you size up, sometimes in clothing it can make you appear smaller. Not all clothes though, but some styles it will.

    Loved all the outfits! I’ve tried several of the CCB collection pieces and have found that I need to size down. (Very flattery to this ole gals ego! lol). I’m curious if I should size down one in the twill pants as well?

    I love the bf jeans but ON is giving me grief about store pickup lol and i LOVE the wide twill pants. Might have to splurge on those. I’m already short so idk how that will look on me… I can see me in them. Have a fun day together! Days with my teen girl are my favorite, especially when we can incorporate Hobbly Lobby and ice cream or maybe some Gilmore Girls. 🙂

    I love chunky sweaters, Moto jackets, booties, and that dress is so cute! It’s like you pick my clothes out for me! Haha thanks! I was shopping online (Kohl’s) the other day and was trying to make decisions, and I thought “what would Beverly do??” Maybe we need a “WWBD” post with our questions or something?

    Love the skinny jeans from Express. At 57, it is hard to find a pair of skinny jeans that don’t look too young. Love the look of these and am giving them a try.
