Try-On With Walmart, Express, Old Navy, & QVC

I spent a lot of years working in fashion and one thing I can say with pure truth, most clothing items look better on a person than hanging on a rack! There are many things I have glanced over in a store or online, only to see someone else wearing it and thinking how great it looked. That is one reason I started the blog and to share clothes that everyday women actually buy, from stores that I actually shop and wear from day to day. I have heard from you girls over and over how much you appreciate me keeping the blog affordable and believe me…it will stay that way! I will show items where I have splurged on occassion, because every now and then we need to treat ourselves, lol! Today I am sharing 5 different looks from my favorite stores and my two favorites are the overalls and the jeans. Let me know which one is your favorite!

Girls, when I first saw these overalls online, I was not really impressed, but I thought I would give them a try. All I can say about these drawstring waist cropped overalls is…I have fell in LOVE! These are very lightweight and can be tightened at the waist or left looser; the legs are cropped and wider and can be cuffed for a very cute everyday or dressier look. These are under $30 and fit TTS. When I put these on, Barry got up and gave me a LONG hug…LOL!! You can bet I’m keeping these on high rotation with all that attention! HAHA! These come in several color options, and I really liked the olive and white options. See the overalls here. These can be styled with nearly any shoe or sandal, right on up through the fall with cute booties!

These cute Time and Tru Overalls are easily dressed up for a cute date night outfit, just add a cute pair of heels, a fitted tee, and a cute clutch like the hot pink one I’m styling. As it gets cooler at nights a denim jacket would fabulous with these overalls!

My crochet clutch from Target is sooo OMG cute and comes in other color options as well. See the clutch here. A closer picture is below, the hot pink really pops! This comes in a natural neutral that is very popular also.

If you are looking for an American Flag tee for Memorial Day, I found this really cute one and decided to style it with my black boyfriend blazer from Walmart. It’s starting to get warmer here, well…it’s getting muggier here, so I won’t be wearing this much. But, I will wear this when we go out to eat because I tend to get chilly inside some of the restaurants we eat at. My jeans are some of the BEST jeans I have tried so far this year, and I have tried a lot of them! These are from Express and fit so well and you literally will walk around and not even feel like you are wearing bottoms. These are super comfortable and I like to cuff mine (see picture below) for a cute cropped look. See the jeans here.

Have you tried the Candace Cameron Bure fashion line yet? I showcased a few of her pieces a few weeks ago and today I am showing this cute olive gauze blouse. Her line is super nice and well made! I had a friend message me the other day about her dress purchase and could not believe how good the material felt. It’s that good! This is a great blouse to wear over a tank unbuttoned, with shorts or jeans. This fits TTS and all sizes are in stock except for Small. See it here.     I just found your site and really like the outfits you put together and I’m looking forward to seeing more. Definitely like the affordability but also ideas on how to mix and match as that is not my strong suit. Old Navy and Target are great. How about Kohl’s and Belk?

      Good Morning Beverly. Wow thank you so much for the Starbucks drink. ☕️ I love those overalls on you. Those express jeans? That’s my style. I have become obsessed with Express lol. Especially their clearance section. I have a few pair of those jeans I’m loving and they all fit differently I have come to find out as I can order a smaller size in some jeans. Taking that moment in right now hahaha. I love how you buy clothes when they don’t look flattering on the rack and then you put it on and it looks AMAZING 🤩 opens my mind up on how to style because I’m definitely not fashionista lol.       Love the overalls! They’re super cute on you! I would love to see you list your size. On the rare occasion I’ve seen you mention the size I’ve thought you would be at least one size less than listed. I’ve followed other bloggers and it’s easier to shop online if I know for example that I’m consistently one size up or the same size as the bloggers I’m following. Thanks for all your wonderful outfits! I love Amazon and Target!

      I so love your blog! Thank you for showing us that we can still be in style even though we aren’t 20! Target and Old Navy are my fav stores! I just received my brown tank dress and navy blue button down shirt in the mail from Target that you showcased on your blog and I love it!

    I am enjoying Walmart as I have their free shipping subscription. I also follow an influencer who showcases many of their clothes. I like some of the others like Loft, Express but do not want to pay shipping. I enjoy your Target and Old Navy also. You mix it up well!!!! Look forward to your post.

    I love overalls!!! I still have my denim overalls from the 90’s!! Just wouldn’t give them up. Haha! Glad they’re back!!! Thanks so much for styling them. They’re really cute on you!! Now I think I’ll update them with some cropping ✂️🤣
