12 Of My Go-To Easy Outfits

Some of my most popular posts are the ones where I show what I’ve been wearing lately, my real lifestyle. Most of my actual day to day outfits are nothing more than sweatshirts with joggers, especially since the pandemic. But a few times a week, I get dressed up and head out the door to run errands or to do something with Barry. Today I am showing some of my outfits that are my “go-to” outfits during the week and for dinner dates with the hubs. Many of the items are on sale, so be sure to check them out.

I have been wearing a lot more sweatshirts these past few weeks with all the demolition going on and this super comfortable fave is on repeat here lately. This is a great Amazon find and at a great price point and it comes in multiple colors, fits TTS, and is super soft! Who doesn’t love a great sweatshirt? Since I have become a sweatshirt “pro”, this can be worn alone or used to layer with shirts underneath easily. It is a thinner sweatshirt, but not too thin. See it here.

Every now and then I like to dress up a little when I’m running errands and this blazer is one I wear on repeat! You will see it again below, because it’s easy to add to an outfit, it’s great for days that aren’t that cold, and it has stretch that is a must-have for me. This is on sale for $24 right now, see it here.

I am a Camo lover and a jogger mama! I absolutely live in joggers on the weekends and most nights when I am lounging around the house. These extra comfortable joggers are an #amazonfind that are worthy for comfy nights! The hoodie is also from Amazon and both items fit TTS.

The classic gingham print shirt is one of my favorites and if you have been following along long, you know this is a staple piece in my wardrobe and I style it multiple ways. This gingham shirt is an Amazon Essentials and is a bargain at $20. This comes in multiple colors and different patterns. See the gingham shirt here.

I am a sucker for a black and white print dress, have you noticed? LOL! I think I am drawn to them because I can style it with any color of cardigan or blazer that I choose, or add colorful accessories for a pop of wow! This Lark & Ro has long been a favorite and is very flattering with a jacket like the moto jacket I have on. This Lark & Ro dress from Amazon is a relaxed fit with lightweight material that can be worn throughout the year. It fits TTS, I am wearing my normal size in dresses (a 10). This comes in multiple colors and patterns, see it here.

This Classic Shetland Blazer is a favorite of mine for casual or when we are going out and I need to dress up. This blazer was normally $179 and it is on sale for only $38, so I had to show it, especially since I am wearing it so much here lately. This comes in petite and plus also, Fits TTS. See it here. My graphic tee is from Amazon and one that I style with jackets or wear alone with joggers. See the details below the picture.

If you love a mocha colored slouchy sweater, I found this one at Amazon by Lark & Ro. I love it because it wears great, it’s not restricting, and the color looks so pretty with different colors. I am a huge fan of Lark & Ro products and this one does not disappoint. This is slouchy but fits TTS. It also comes in multiple colors if mocha is not your color of choice. See the sweater here.

One of my favorite blouses to wear is the Smocked Cuff Portofino shirts from Express. This blouse goes so well with jeans, skirts, or dress pants and since they are on sale for $20, it makes them a sweeter deal! This blouse fits TTS and comes in 7 different color options. See the blouse here.

I’m sure we all have a pair of black jeans and these Mid-Rise Power Slim Straight Jeans from Old Navy are my favorites. I sized up in these jeans and absolutely loved the fit. A great pair of black jeans can be worn as a dressier option and always looks chic. These jeans are on sale for only $26 and all sizes are available right now. See the jeans here. Don’t you love camel and black together? Such a classic combo!

I’ve styled this striped Duster/Cardigan numerous times over the years and has always been a favorite on the blog. The black and white have not restocked yet, but a neutral tan color is still available, and it’s on sale for $22, see it here. My cropped pants are by No Boundaries with a paperbag waist. Out of all the paperbag pants I have, these are the most comfortable and are only $12. These have stretch and can easily be worn through the summer. See them here.

One of my favorite tops is this Coco Bianco Ruched Sleeve Polka Dot blouse, it wears so good and looks great with jeans or pants. I always try to keep a staple blouse in my wardrobe that will go with anything and this has been one of those items. It’s on clearance for only $17, Fits TTS. See it here.

Let’s talk about sassy britches for a moment. Ha! That was a tribute to my grandmother, she loved saying sassy and never called pants, by the word jeans – it was always “britches”! Anyone else have a grandmother like that? These cuties have trim detail down the sides of the jean that I think is so cute! These are raw hem skinny jeans with a fray down the leg. These fit TTS and are on sale for $29, see them here! If you do nothing else….check out The Loft Outlet SALE here. Huge deals!

    Good morning!
My favorite is the camo joggers and hoodie. I also like the little polka dot dress. I would like to ask for some help from you or your readers. I’m 64 thin medium build. My skin texture is changing and I am so self conscious of my chicken skin you know creepy skin on my upper arms. I hate wearing tee shirts or sleeveless as I find my arms to be quite ugly. 3/4 length summer shirts are hard to find. I use wrinkle cream on the area and a tan helps hide them but I also know sun damage causes them. Anyone know what I am talking about? Can anyone help.

    • Beverly

Ok, YES I do know what you are talking about because mine are the same way!! Ugggg!! First, it’s from losing muscle mass. Get some 2-5 lb weights and do a few sets each day. I will post what I am doing soon. 2nd, you need a really good lotion that will penetrate your skin. Try a diabetic ( Gold Bond) has a good one that I LOVE!! It’s affordable or you can get some from Rodan and Fields which is awesome, but it’s a tad expensive. I have it and use it, but it’s over $50 and I still find myself going back to the Gold Bond. I picked that up by mistake one day and love it. CeraVa is another good one too. Also add a collagen powder or liquid to your daily routine. In fact, I will post all this this week for everyone. It’s a lot for one comment. Plus I can show you what I’m using and what’s helping!! So be looking for that!! You are NOT alone!! Have a great day!!❤️❤️

Leave a Comment, I'd love to hear from you!
