Is it me, or are these weeks zooming by? I have found myself reading more inspirational books here lately – I want to make sure I am keeping a positive attitude as a mom, wife, daughter, and friend. I have been disconnecting from the world and focusing on my little crew more. Spending more time reading the Bible and a lot more time with my kids and husband. A devotional that I am enjoying is God Hears Her, it’s a great devotional for every day of the year. I love a hardcover book so I can make notes in, but this is also available for Kindle.

I am doing better with this mono, I am still having surges of fatigue and dealing with an enlarged spleen, but overall I am feeling that I am getting back to normal. Barry did test positive for the mono, but he is not contagious nor is it active. We did find out that Brooklyn’s mom had mono back in November (she never said anything – so we had no clue), so we have determined that Brooklyn was the little culprit that brought it to our home ha! (In the pic below – she’s not happy about ANY mask-wearing period…can you tell?)

Over the past few weeks, Barry was bitten by a spider and his entire arm swelled up ( I mean it was looking like Popeye’s arms, but only in one arm!). He was on 2 rounds of antibiotics and eventually had to go back to the doctor to get that drained. He goes to the clinic that I work at and let me just say…I heard him squeal like a girl when they cut into him – from one end of the clinic to the other ha! I’m just kidding…I hope he reads this post hahaha!! Read below to see the Weekly Recap!
