Pop of Pink For Casual Friday

I love a casual dress for Spring and Summer and I especially like it when it’s at a great price point. I have styled swing dresses numerous ways on the blog and today I am adding a pop of hot pink with a casual black swing dress. Bright colors seem to be everywhere right now and when you pair a bright color with black it really makes the color pop.

I found a super affordable hot pink duster/cardigan for the Spring and I am sure I will be styling this with shorts and cropped jeans later on. It’s a great piece to add to your Spring wardrobe and one that can be worn in numerous ways, plus it comes in a rainbow of color options! This duster is a lightweight polyester, hits mid calve, Fits TTS, with an open front no button look. See the duster and other color options here.

The cute black swing dress is from Walmart, but I can only find the crewneck style online. These Time and Tru dresses have pockets and Fits TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. See the crewneck t-shirt dress here. These hit right above the knee and can be easily dressed up with sandals and a statement necklace like I did below. See different options of dresses below also.

Let’s take a moment to talk about these Steve Madden platform sandals. I bought these sandals last May at the Steve Madden Outlet in Myrtle Beach exactly one year ago and they are some of my faves! I did find these on Amazon and decided to share them with you girls. These are the most comfortable platform sandals you will find, they are about 2 1/2 inches (maybe a little less) in height and they can be worn all day long without hurting your feet. These come in tan leather and a gold metallic, plus these look AWESOME with jeans! See them here.

I wanted to show the dress without the duster/cardigan, so I snapped a picture real quick. This is a great dress to wear casual or dressy. Put on a pair of white sneakers, a crossbody purse, and wrap a denim shirt around your waist for a super cute casual look. The possibilities are endless!
