Style Linen Cropped Pants 2 Ways

It’s the start of a new month and the start of a new week…starting fresh and ready for March! I like to switch my mindset for each week and each month to give me a new, clean slate and to forgive myself for everything I planned on doing last month/week and did not complete. I am excited for March to be here, new Spring clothes are coming out daily, the weather is getting warmer and these days will be getting longer. What’s not to love…right? Anyone else with me??

The Classis Look

Today I wanted to show a pair of soft linen pants that can be styled casual or dressy. I found these when I went to Old Navy for the Try-On Haul, see that post here. These pants are super soft with an elastic waist and have pockets on sides that lay flat, so wearing them kind of dressy is super easy. I styled it with my black blazer and camisole, I do not wear jewelry a lot, but a few longer necklaces layered would really look great with this. Change out the pumps for some strappy sandals and add a cardigan or denim jacket for an entirely different look.

My blazer is from Forever 21 and fits TTS (I am wearing a medium) for a fitted look, size up if you want it a bit bigger. It has a shawl collar with front flap pockets, ruched 3/4 length sleeves and has satin lining. It’s on sale for under $35, see it here. My camisole is a crepe cami that fits flowy and is definitely a staple piece in my wardrobe. It fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference, see it here.

I love wearing pumps with jeans and cropped pants and these Dakota pumps are some of my faves. I love the cut-out in the middle for a different and edgy, spring look. These are the black suede, I like suede better than black leather, I have no idea why…I just do. I wear all my suede shoes all through the year, does anyone else prefer suede over leather? See the Dakota pumps here. These fit TTS, I can wear these all day at work, but I normally wear these for church or nights out.

The Casual Look

For a more casual look, I decided to style a cute polka dot camisole that happens to match the cargo pant perfectly. I added a denim jacket, see it here, and a pair of nude sandals. This would look great without the jacket and a pair of cute summer sandals and a long cardigan for Spring also. Even pair it with a pair of white sneakers for a more casual but trendy look.

The polka dot camisole fits TTS, I am wearing a medium, it fits flowy and can be tucked in the front if you’re going for a trendier look. It has a v-neck with adjustable straps and is a great layering piece for spring and summer. See the camisole here. It also comes in a really cool snake print option also!

Let’s talk about these sandals for a moment. Ahhh, these are some of my faves and I have been wearing these for over a year now. These are by Nine West and called the Leisa sandal. These are still popular and comes in different color options. I like a nude or neutral shade to wear with jeans, shorts or dresses. These are some of my “go-to” sandals with a kitten heel that is easily worn all day. See the sandal here. I am linking more sandal options below if you prefer a taller heel.

St. Patty’s Day Tee

On Saturday, I was hanging around the house and doing a little bit of cleaning and was wearing a St. Patty’s Day tee I picked up last week and thought I would share. Since the 17th is fastly approaching, some of you may want to get in the spirit and wear a little green. Remember graphic tees are trending with jackets, cardigans, and blazers! Add it to joggers or jeans for a cute St. Patty’s Day look! (Yes…I wear joggers A LOT around the house, they are so comfortable…why not? LOL!!) I am linking some great tees below, I got this one from Old Navy, but it is not online to purchase.

Which style did you prefer for the soft linen pants?

Shop The Post

Today I am off to work, I am really liking this new job and getting out of the house has done wonders for picking up my spirits. Working from home can become boring and a bit lonely, especially in the colder seasons, so getting out some each week and being of some help to a company has really made the difference for me. I seem to be more organized and on point…it took a good month or so to get a good rhythm, but I finally caught second gear LOL!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today, what are you girls up to today? Do you have some staple pieces in your wardrobe that you would like to see how I would style it? Drop a comment below and let me know! Have a great day girls!
