Denim & Leopard Styled 2 Ways

I’m a lover of animal print and I’m sure I am not alone! Leopard print has been trending for a while now and snake print is really having a moment too. I have heard some women think it may be too bold for them or they aren’t sure how to wear it. Today I am going a little subtle and styling leopard print flats. Shoes, scarves, and jewelry is a great way to incorporate a trend such as animal print, into your wardrobe without feeling overwhelmed.

If you want to read more about the Do’s and Don’ts of Wearing Leopard Print, you can read about it here, it was one of the most read articles in 2019!

The great thing about leopard print is that it can be styled with many colors! From reds, browns, greens, yellows to black – it’s hard to mess up with animal print especially when you are using the print as an accent, such as a shoe or accessory.

This cardigan has been one that I wear a lot, even with shorts in warmer weather – but the good news is this on sale for under $17! See it here.

This Mixed Media black tank is on clearance right now, so the sizing is limited, but if you can snag your size up – you will definitely get your money out of it. It’s a great piece for a classic wardrobe. My jeans are from American Eagle and I have truly loved them because they are so versatile. I can cuff this jean, roll them up with boots or sneakers or wear them straight. These are high-waisted, but not too high, they are skinny jeans, but not skin tight! See them here. I am wearing my regular size 8.

Leopard flats are a great shoe that can be worn to work or for casual style. I love mine and wear them quite often. Sometimes you don’t feel like wearing boots or pumps – so these are a perfect addition to your wardrobe for a chic and casual look. that is trending. Mine are from Sole Society from last year, but I have linked similar types above in the carousel that run from inexpensive to more expensive brands.

My olive moto jacket is a gift from Barry back a few months ago. (He didn’t know he gave it to me–haha) It is thicker and the great thing is this one is from Amazon. I am linking several styles to include a few leather moto jackets if you like the leather look more.

If you have wondered where I was yesterday, let me tell ya! I had told you girls that Raegan has been sick and she LOVES to cuddle and be “babied” when she is sick. Well, I pushed her away as much as possible (does that make me a bad mom? She’s 19!) I cannot afford to get sick, I have too much planned this month – lol. Anyway, she succeeded in transferring her sickness to me.

I was writing this post out after taking medicine a few nights ago and literally fell asleep with my laptop on my lap and woke up at 4am still sitting on my couch. Talk about a crank (is that the right word) in your neck!! I basically have been sleeping off this cold since then. I felt well enough to finish this and say hey to you girls today! So HEY!!!!! Have a great weekend girls!!! XOXO What are you up to?

Have a blessed day!

Oh my Beverly, sorry to hear you and your family have been sick. I push my grown kids away from me when they are sick so I completely understand. I also fumigate my house to combat the germs. I think you are like me with the germaphobia quality. LOL!!! However, I do feel if you’re gonna get sick, unfortunately, you’re gonna get it. I hope you all start feeling better soon. I was wondering where you were 🙂 Let’s talk about leopard or animal print…..Girl, this chic likes small doses but honey she loves “large” doses as well. My sweet sweet husband bought me a leopard faux fur coat last year for Christmas and it is toasty warm and I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing it a lot this year. You are so correct about wearing leopard with many colors. My weekend consist of catching up on some things around my house and spending time with my 18 year old daughter before she heads back to college on Friday. Have a great weekend. ~Lisa~

Ok, I spray my house like crazy!! I do not like germs lol!! Chase, my son, is worse than me!! Poor Barry pushes me away with force ha!! I still snuggled up to him while he was sleeping and he immediately woke up and told me to back off 😂😂 ok—this girl LOVES animal print, like I can deck myself out in it!!!! I can’t get enough, but I know some people are not like that so I like to show different things. I think Brooklyn will be a “WOW LOOK AT MY ANIMAL PRINT” girl too. If it’s bling, sparkly, leopard -she’s grabbing in and she’s only 5. I love it!!! Lol!! Thanks for the well wishes!! Have a great weekend!!! XOXO‼️‼️

LOL!!! You make me laugh. Your fashion style is so much like mine. I think that is why I can relate to you so well. I am definitely not ready for grandchildren yet (Helping take care of my 80 year old sweet mother with some health issues) However, when I do have my first granddaughter, she will be just like your precious Brooklyn. xoxo ~Lisa~

Lol!! Girl, my mom will be 79 in a few months and although she gets around pretty good, she is starting to fall quite a bit. So I’m always on call for her. She fell not to long ago and tore her rotator cuff. Taking care of parents is hard work -kudos to you!!! And you just wait!! Those grand babies are better than you own kids ( don’t tell my kids I said that ha ha) I’ve seen Raegan look at me with “stink eye” a few times telling me I let Brooklyn get away with everything. I said of course I do!! All while laughing!! 😂😂 You crack me up too!! So glad we met!! ❤️❤️

I love leopard too! Cute outfits in this post! I am sorry you are sick!😢 That isn’t good timing for kicking off FWTFL! You probably haven’t felt like eating! It has been a great start on the plan for me! It really is not hard! I am having trouble getting enough carbs in but I guess we will discuss specifics next week when we talk about tracking macros! I didn’t want to jump the gun and ask questions yet! I hope you get to feeling better soon!❤️

I’ve done pretty good this week, but you are right—eating all those carbs can be tough. Eat till you’re 80% full!! But try and get the Fats and Proteins in. I’m so glad you’re rocking it!! It works girl!!!
