Try-On Haul: Old Navy + The Loft

Today I am showing some items that are really cute and they are all on SALE! I was out this week shopping and decided I would try on a few things to show you girls. It was a rainy day and I did not feel like being inside. So I hopped in my car and took off to the mall.

I keep an umbrella in the pocket behind my seat, so I figured I would be fine running in and out of stores. You can imagine my thoughts when I reached back to grab my trusty umbrella only to find that someone had taken it out of my car! Let’s just say by the time I had ran into my 3rd store I looked like a drenched poodle. When I got home and walked in the house, Raegan busted out laughing, telling me I looked like our Goldendoodle after a bath. Hmmm….I wonder if she was the one to take my umbrella! I’m thinking YES! Nonetheless, let’s get started!

What I Wore

You girls don’t get to see me much in straight jeans, as I am usually wearing skinny jeans, so I thought I would share these. These jeans are distressed jeans, but the “rips and tears” are covered with jean material underneath. I still have the look of distressed, but I’m not showing any skin. See the jean here. These are high-waisted skinny jeans, just not super skinny.

This top is from The Loft Outlet and they are having a huge sale of up to 60% off regular-priced clothing. Shop the sale here. This soft flannel button-down is one of my favorite tops I own and it’s on sale for $21.99, see it here. Outfit Details // Jacket // Blouse // Jeans // Boots are limited in sizes (see similar here) // Gucci Inspired Belt // Purse

Old Navy- Use Code SWEET for 20% Off

These puffer vests are super cute and on sale for $15, use code SWEET, shop the vest here. I’m wearing the light pink vest, the purple wine color is also on sale for $15, all others are on sale for $20. I am wearing a medium for reference. My normal sizes are Medium and a size 8 in jeans.

I had to add this olive jacket into the post because I’m a little obsessed with coats. This one is so cute and cuddly! It has a faux-fur lining, a cute hood, and it’s water-resistant. I needed that the day I did these try-ons because I was drenched by the time I finished lol! Size down in this jacket, it definitely runs large! See it here. This comes in black and mustard. Use the code SWEET to get 20% off your purchase! Good through this weekend!!

I saw these pullovers online and I decided to check them out before I purchased one. These are ribbed and super soft and super comfortable. I loved this lilac color, but it also comes in red, cream, and gray. See it here. I am wearing a Medium and they fit TTS.

I was in the market for a 1/4 zip sherpa pullover also and found this one that I really liked. I liked the gold detail and the color of the lining of the collar. These fit TTS and comes in solid colors and patterns, see them here. Isn’t this one super cute??

These buffalo check sweaters really caught my eye when I walked into the store. These come in multiple colors, super soft, fit TTS, and super cozy! I am wearing a medium, see the sweaters here. These are only $35 plus the extra 20% off with code SWEET!

This slouchy turtleneck sweater was on point! This was one of my faves in the store, I don’t know what it was about this sweater, I just really liked it. Wouldn’t it look cute with white jeans and booties? See the sweater here, it comes in black and cream also. These sateen jeans are really comfortable and I love the cargo look. These do fit super skinny, so if you like them a bit looser, size up. See the jeans here.

The Loft

The Loft is having a sale of 60% off sweaters and 50% off your purchase, shop the sale here.

You girls know I have a fondness for reindeer and I saw this sweater, but sadly they were out of my size in the store. Check it out online here.

I also ordered this sweater since I’m a dog mom, I decided to show it on this blog post since this sale is huge and these sweaters are selling out quick! isn’t is cute? See it here. All sweaters are limited, so don’t wait! My dog sweater runs a little big, so sizing down would be fine!

I loved this long duster and decided to try it on with a velvet camisole. This velvet camisole is a perfect top for fancy Christmas parties or where you want to step it up a bit. Don’t forget NYE is only a few weeks away too! See the cardigan here. See the camisole here.

Here is a closer look at the camisole material. I don’t know why my phone is having yellow stripes in it, so I’m so sorry about that! It seems to have happened since I did an update a few weeks back. UGG! It only happens in certain lighting. Anyone else having an issue with their iPhone XR camera?

Speaking of New Year’s Eve…I really liked this cute top. It’s thicker like a sweatshirt and roomy, so size down if you want it to fit snugger. I am wearing a medium in this picture. I will be wearing this top through the cold season because in my min…2020 is going to be my year! LOL! See the top here.

I decided to try on a few jeans and I really liked the black skinny jeans. They fit great, these come in modern and curvy, petite and tall. I am wearing a size 29 in regular. See them here.

If you like floral blouses, this one is VERY cute on. The picture really does it no justice. I can see this with some velvet black jeans for a night out! Perfect for workwear or church. I had to try on a large since they did not have my size in the store, so it’s a bit roomy on me. See the blouse here.

This is a best seller for The Loft! They have sizes XXS-XXL online!

Whew! That was a lot of clothes LOL!

Good morning! I was disappointed when I didn’t see a post for today earlier this morning. I have been putting together a lasagna for a family get-together tomorrow. I still need to make a drizzle for the triple chocolate bundt cake and also make some peanut butter fudge. We have been having rainy and cold weather here lately. As I sat down to take a little break and saw that you had posted, the sun came out from behind the clouds, and I think maybe I heard the angels sing (or that may have been the Christmas music that Troy is listening to in the next room) 😉 I love so much of what you have shown us today. My favorites are the 1/4 zip sherpa pullover, the slouchy turtleneck sweater, the sweater with the doggie face on it and the 2020 shirt. I too am hoping that 2020 will be my year! I am so glad that you felt better this morning after feeling nasty last night 🙂 To answer your question from yesterday about what I am baking, I will be making triple chocolate bundt cakes, peanut butter fudge, key lime pie fudge and caramel apple cheesecake bars with streusel topping. I am doing whatever was requested and this is the first year ever that I am not baking any cookies. I will be baking all week long and taking some of it to Florida with us. I need to get back to it so I hope that you have a wonderful day!!
