9 Winter Looks: What I Wore

During the holiday season, we all are looking for outfits that are affordable, trendy, comfortable, and cute. When we feel confident in our clothes, it shines through and our self-esteem seems to be booming. I’ve said it before, when I was in the workforce and would buy a new outfit, I felt good the entire day. It made me more confident when I was wearing something I felt good in and it showed in the way I carried myself, my attitude about myself, and honestly…I was happier during the day.

I have compiled a few outfits below that I truly enjoyed wearing that are affordable and trending. Get ready – there are 10 looks, instead of 9 LOL!

What I Wore

I found this cute eyelash sweater that comes in a cute black/white/gray plaid and a leopard print, see them here. Outfit Details: // Sweater // Jeans // Boots

I added a camel single-breasted coat and I was ready for our night out. Simple and cute outfit under $100. This coat comes in multiple colors and is perfect for a work coat or even an everyday coat. See it here.

This balloon sleeve sweater is super comfortable and warm. I’m showing this a few different ways in this post, why? Because it’s that good! It has a mock neck, the sleeve detail is gorgeous, it’s thick enough to keep me warm, but not too thick, and the color is awesome! I love green in the winter LOL! This sweater comes in multiple colors also, see them here. Outfit Details // Sweater // Chaps Corduroy Skinny Pants (under $22 use code: FRIENDS&FAM) // Boots

I added an infinity scarf and my camel coat to meet friends for lunch. You could add a different color scarf, but I am really enjoying this cable-knit scarf right now. Outfit Add-ons// Scarf // Coat

If you haven’t tried the Democracy Women’s Ab Solution Jegging from Amazon, you must! I loved these jeans because of the stretch, but the wide waistband is super comfortable. They look like regular jeans at the waist, but the wider band helps hold in your abs. The waistband stretches as you stretch, but stays in place. These are in Indigo, size 8, see them here. See the Transport Tote here.

I found this cute sweater at Walmart and they flew out the door! I have linked alternative sweaters below. Outfit Details // Sweater (alternative) // Jeans // Boots ( See these boots below)

I love layering and this was a cute outfit that I wore out to go with my Mom before she fell. Once I got home I switched out my shoes and went for a more casual look (see below). Outfit Details // Herringbone Vest // Chambray Shirt // Tee // Madewell Ragged Hem Jeans // Marc Fisher Ragni Mules

You can see the Madewell jeans better in this picture, can you tell I have fallen in love with Madewell? Girls, they fit and wear the best of any jeans I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot! These are the same boots from the picture above and I have had them for over a year and these are some of my all-time faves! They wear great and they look so good with denim and black jeans! Outfit Details // Chambray Shirt // Tee // Jeans // Boots

On a cooler day, I chose to wear this camel turtleneck (comes in multiple colors) with a sherpa vest with my winter boots. Outfit Details // Turtleneck // Sherpa Vest // Jeans // Sorel Boots

Outfit Details // Moto Jacket (on Sale) // Emerald Blouse // Jeans // Boots

You are so right in this month is flying by and I have so much on my to-do list for this week. Our trip with the grandkids Saturday afternoon was a big bust so that was disappointing and we won’t have to go back to that place again. Glad you are all feeling better since you missed your outing Saturday night. I LOVE that long coat and it would be nice to have that when I want to change out of a puffer coat. We need something warm this week as our temps are going to be under 20 deg. all week and this morning we are having late school start due to blowing snow. You find the cutest sweaters at Walmart and yes, by the time I get there they are usually out. Cute layered outfit also and are those your new glasses? The shape looks nice on you. Good luck to Reagan on her driving test.

Yes! Those are my new glasses!! Lol. Good catch!! Raegan says I look like a librarian ha!! Girl, that is some cold weather Brrr 🥶! I like that coat!! I like wearing it with jeans and sneakers also. I swap my jackets up a lot too. Sounds like both our weekends were a bust!! I noticed that the sweaters are more online than in the store because there were no leopard print in my store. They fit TTS and I think either of the 3 would look cute on you!! ❤️❤️

Girl you need to stop looking so stinking cute cause you are making me want to buy everything that you show us! I love the long camel colored coat. I am a sucker for a pretty coat or vest and I really don’t need anymore. My other favorites for today are the outfit with the camel turtleneck and sherpa vest with the boots and the outfit with the herringbone vest and chambray shirt. Just the other day I was thinking that it is probably good that we don’t live in the same town, because it would look as though we dress like twins since I am buying so much of what you have shown us. 🙂
