Outfit Inspo With My Favorite Dress + More!
Happy Monday everyone! We had a fairly busy weekend, a lot of decluttering and basically taking everything out of our attic. Yes…the attic saga continues. This is a MUCH bigger job than I anticipated. We did spend some family “bonding” time together (that’s code for helping me clean) LOL! I’d like to congratulate Sandy on guessing that! Then we headed out for dinner with the family. Then it was back to reality…

My favorite way of styling this dress has been with a long black cardigan. I got the one I’m wearing from Steinmart a couple of years ago, but here is one that is very similar. I really like this look and I think it screams Fall!

These Ripley boots by LifeStride are perfect for an everyday boot. I personally like a 1-inch heel with my tall boots if I’m running errands or having a casual lunch with the girls. I love my higher heeled boots, but for comfort, I will grab these every time. Especially when I’m wearing skinny jeans and a blouse or sweater. Add a scarf, ruana or wrap, a vest, or a cute jacket and you have a really cute casual weekend outfit.
Here is a couple of pics I snapped up last week when I was shopping at the Belk sale. (Do not pay attention to the dirty glass) I think I might need to take glass cleaner with me when doing try-ons lol! We all have had a kid that likes to touch the mirror when we have been trying on clothes and this mirror certainly showed the artwork of someone’s toddler ha!

Good Monday afternoon! I do enjoy when you do posts that show multiple ways to wear a piece of clothing. My favorite today is the dress with the long black cardigan and boots. I bet you will be glad to get the attic clean out done. Troy and I worked on some of the boxes that we still have from our move. We are making slow progress but at least it is progress. The hardest part is to get him motivated. I tell him that it is like trying to get a 10 year old boy to clean his room. Once we get into the project it is fine but he starts out kicking and screaming, lol. I have today off and had a nail appt and did some errands so it has been a productive day.

Beverly, I love when you show different ways to wear pieces. I seem to get in a rut and wear the same thing, I am really trying to mix up my closet. So excited I will be in your area next week, my daughter goes to the med school and we are coming to visit. Trying to figure out what to pack since I am in the North and it is starting to get cold here. Your cold is not the same as ours.

That’s awesome!! I traveled for awhile and I was up in the Northern States a lot- it snowed so much I bought a Jeep to be safer. Needless to say, I’m a pro with snow- Not so much with ice lol. So excited that your daughter is in Med school. There are a few med school’s near us. A newer one is Campbell University. That was my husbands law school. waaaaayyyy back in the day lol.
