Date Night & Leopard

Happy Saturday girls! I am so excited to write and share this post because I am talking shoes and handbags today! I LOVE my accessories, we all know your accessories can really make an outfit go…BOOM! (In a good way!) I love a good shoe that brings an outfit together or adding a handbag/purse that takes an outfit from meh…to YEAH!

Yesterday I talked about how big animal print is this year, and it’s not just leopard print – it’s snake print, cheetah print, zebra – you name it and it’s in play! Today I’m styling coated black denim jeans; coated jeans wear like jeans, but they have a sheen to them that really dress your outfit up. These jeans are super comfy, look great on and are perfect for a date night! See the jeans here.

I decided to style a white cami from The Loft Outlet (here) with the perfect faux leather jacket (here). I added the coated jeans and I had the bulk of my outfit. Now I wanted to add my shoes and accessories to give me a little sass, with a little class and hopefully make my husband’s heart flutter just a little. (BTW – these boots did make him sit up and take notice…just saying lol).

The booties are from Belk and part of the BOGO Free sale, see the booties here, and the LifeStride pumps for an alternate look. My husband liked them both, but he REALLY liked the boots. I like them both, but at this time of the year, I will probably get more wear out of the booties.

I chose a Cut Out Handle Clutch I got from Cato while back, these are no longer on their website so I linked multiple similar items below. The cut-out clutch is my favorite type of purse when it comes to clutches, they are so much easier to carry. Most of these come with straps also.

While I was on the Cato website, I came across this GORGEOUS accessory that fits into this blog perfect. If you wanted to wear a red heel or even black pumps with an outfit like this, adding a leopard clutch would look so chic and classy! See this clutch here.

Another alternative for an outfit similar to this would be to replace the leather jacket and add a long black cardigan. Something about a nice long black cardigan really screams chic to me! Wear regular skinny jeans in denim or white and you have another classy outfit. You can add a clutch in red to have a different look also. So many things you can do with leopard shoes and accessories.
