Spring Dress in Cobalt Blue

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a relaxing weekend! I did get to relax some Sunday and boy was it nice! I want to thank everyone that made comments yesterday, WOW – you girls are so awesome! You let me know I am going down the right path and the friendships I am making through the blog is undeniably a HUGE blessing! Oh – Johnna said hey to everyone LOL! We are working on getting things fixed so she can comment again.

I found some really cute everyday outfits at Old Navy and I am sharing this cute cobalt blue button-down dress. I am wearing a Medium and it hits about 2 inches above the knee. I do wear Spanx or tight shorts underneath all my dresses or skirts – found out a long time ago these are the best thing in case the wind blows a bit too much! Oh, I have no stories today, it was basketball all day Sunday and chilling on the couch for me. I loved it!! HAHA!!

I am wearing a white camisole underneath, if you’ve noticed in my latest posts I have been wearing them underneath my clothing. I got these from Cato, these are a must-have for me. I wear camisoles/tank tops all the time, I like them if they fit snug and hold me together without making me feel like I can’t breathe! I wanted to show you the versatility with this dress with a white denim jacket. I love the jacket with this dress, we are still in transitional season so this would be a great addition to your wardrobe. A white cardigan would look really cute too, or you could really step out and wear a pink or red cardigan with it. This jacket is by Lee Riders and fits at the hip. The sandals I am wearing are City Classified Chunky High-Heeled Dress Strap Over The Ankle Sandal, they are about 1 inch high and wear GREAT! I wear these at work all the time and I’m up and down stairs all day – they have never hurt my feet.

    My hubby keeps interrupting my coffee and chat with you this morning needing my signature on tax papers for the mail…LOL Which is more important at 6:00 in the morning?!?! What a cute and fun dress!! I too have to wear tight shorts under the “one” shorter jumper that I do wear. Just makes me feel more secure when I bend over 😉 I will be snatching up a couple of those t’s tomorrow when I finally get to shop at Cato’s..yay! I went to my Amazon cart as I’ve had that jean jacket in red color waiting as it was on back order til Thursday and now I see that color is no longer available. 🙁 Your bracelet goes perfect with your post from yesterday. Glad you were able to enjoy a relaxing day.

    Good morning!! No stories today? Is that an April Fool’s Day joke? 😉 I finally got a new white denim jacket at Cato this weekend 🙂 I gave my old one, which was too small, to my grand daughter Hannah while she was here visiting last week and she was thrilled. Thanks so much for the tip on wearing shorts under a dress. I have not tried Spanx yet but have it on my wish list to purchase. Have a wonderful day!!

      Oh yeah I learned the Spanx trick a long time ago. You can go to Walmart and get some, but size way up. Try them on before you buy. I make sure mine are comfortable lol. I’m so glad you found a new jacket. And yes-it’s been a boring weekend without Brooklyn 🤣 Happy Monday!!!

    Beverly do these sandals wear well? Are they tts? I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 so not sure to get the 9 or 10 (uugh Lol) since there is no 1/2 sizes. Thanks!
