Stepping Into Spring With Leopard Flats

Good morning everyone! It is hump day yet once again! It seems like I just wrote this last week…Hmmmmm! This week, month, the year is really starting to fly by. I can tell it’s staying lighter outside a little longer too! Now-I like that and I bet you girls do too!! I hope everyone’s week is going good and looking forward to the weekend!

Transitioning our wardrobe from Winter to Spring seems to be a tad more difficult than Summer to Fall. Have you ever noticed 55 degrees in the Spring seems a lot colder than 50 degrees in the Fall? Am I the only one that noticed that??

I love to wear cardigans and Spring jackets to transition into the warmer days and nights. I’m not much on carrying around a coat, so I tend to gravitate towards a jacket that can be worn all day. Today I decided to pull out a long black cardigan and style it with leopard flats. Before I go on…I must admit, these are my all time favorite flats! They wear great, but I think I would wear them even if they hurt my feet LOL! I love leopard print and I love using it to spice up an outfit.

I chose to wear black on black today, but the camisole could be any neutral color that could be used. If you want to step out on the wild side, go with a bright tangerine, hot pink, or even a pale yellow would look cute.

The cardigan I am styling is a Dokotoo Womens Casual Open Front Long Sleeve Long Cardigans. I bought the one with buttons down the front, but they no longer have that style. These are offered in multiple colors, sizes are Small to XL and it runs in price from $40.99 to $46.99, runs TTS. Get the Cardigan HERE. I do wear this with shorts in the summer also, I throw on short denim shorts, a t-shirt and throw this on when the nights are cooler. I always have someone say, “I never thought of doing that!.” It’s a cute look that I will be showing as it warms up.

I am styling the Mid-Rise Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans by Old Navy. I got these right before Christmas and have worn them at least once a week since I purchased them. These washes and dry great! I normally do not dry my jeans, but these dry very well. The fit is perfect after I dry them.

If the distressed look is not for you, I found some raw edge Rockstar Jeans that are VERY popular that will be in the STP above. These are on sale for $35 right now!! Online only I believe – but not 100% certain. The jeans I have on are below.

I chose to wear the Isadora double chain necklace, it’s 33″ to 36″ long and was the Hostess Special last February. Get the Isadora HERE. So I decided to show you girls what In actually got as a Hostess. Remember, you only need $100 in sales with at least 3 customers to get these exclusive sales. The earrings are the Layla Gold earrings and I love that they are square! They are a good size and very lightweight to wear. All these items was only $30!!! Get the earrings HERE.

I chose to add the Etched Coin Necklace in Gold also. You can personalize this, I chose a vintage heart for mine. It’s 15″- 18″ and comes in Silver, Gold, or Rose Gold. It’s $32.00 with Free Personalization. Get the Etched Coin Necklace HERE.

I chose to wear the Silver Stretch Hammered Cross Bracelet (also comes in gold and a leather band), this is $26 and I wear this weekly, it is a go-to for me. Get the Silver Stretch Cross Bracelet HERE. I love to wear jewelry that tells about my faith! I paired it with the Allure Stainless Bracelet Cuff with Blessed etched on it. This is a Signature Design, so if you choose to get one, all you do is click on the Blessed Signature Design when Personalization comes up. Get the Allure HERE. These also come in Silver/Silver, Silver/Gold, and Silver/Rose Gold. I purchased the Silver/Rose Gold.

I saved the best for last! The leopard Print Flats!! These are the Macy Flats from Sole Society, I checked and there are limited sizes left. You can sign up if you want to be alerted when these shoes in stock. Get the Macy Leopard Flats HERE. There are alternative leopard flats below. Loafers are HUGE this Spring if you haven’t grabbed a loafer from somewhere – start thinking about it. These look great with jeans, khakis, dress pants at church, etc.

I have tried to pull pieces that I have worn on the blog before and show you different outfits to give you some inspiration. Hope this helps! You girls have a great day!! See you tomorrow on the blog! Let me know if there is anything particular you want me to style – I love hearing your ideas!!

Special Note and Special Mention!

Shout out really quick to the “makeup” I am wearing. When I went down to Atlanta, I wore professional grade makeup. By the time I had arrived, I literally felt like I could wipe the “gook” off my face. I thought I had fixed my makeup and it was on point! It was not! After driving through hours of rain and muggy weather, I felt like grease was on my face. I NEVER have oily skin. As soon as I got back home I switched that makeup out and put my Radiant Defense back in my makeup bag.

if you are looking something lightweight that actually covers and protects than I would highly recommend the Radiant Defense by Rodan+Fields. I will never switch out again! Lesson learned the hard way! LOL – but I learned from that mistake. Look around and read up on it, if interested. Click HERE

Good morning Beverly….I so agree that spring weather feels warmer then Fall even at the same temps. I was one that would never have thought to wear the long cardigan with shorts but then I rarely wear shorts shorter then bermuda anymore but that’s just an age thing for me 😉 The leopard print is so cute and sets off your outfit along with your jewelry. Your stacked necklaces are so pretty here and I’m loving that cross bracelet. I couldn’t see in the description where it said the circumference of the bracelet. I have small wrists and don’t like my bracelets “moving”. Is this one that moves up and down or is it tight enough it stays put? Have a great day!

I have smaller wrists and it does not bother me moving around at all. And the cuff bracelets can be bent to fit your arm tight so I love that!! I type a lot during the day and I cannot stand for bracelets to be moving. I wear the cross bracelet a lot so I think you would love it!! Thanks for the compliments!! I’m getting to the age my shorts are getting longer too. I have no want or desire to show off my old legs 😂😂

Great shoes!! And love the whole look. Have to Pin that one. You’ve made me a fan of J Bloom. Very nice & quality jewelry. I too love the Radient Defense makeup. 👍🏻👍🏻

    • Beverly

Thank you!! Johnna-I LOVE my JBloom. I love picking out my jewelry each day lol!! I’m like you about the Radiant Defense-It is my all time favorite! My face felt horrible -not to mention my hair got all curly and frizzy from the rain, but that’s ok. We still had a good time lesson learned lol!! I bet your excited about your upcoming weekend!!
