Slouched Boots & Puffer Vest

Happy Monday morning ladies! Alas-the start to a new work week…said no one ever!! LOL!!! One thing I learned a long time ago, if I’m not getting up in the morning wanting to go to work, then I’m not where I need to be.

I would tell my employees this constantly, “If you have to drag yourself to work daily, then you are not doing yourself nor the company any good”. I started telling that 25 years ago and I still stand by that today. Each person deserves to find their passion and love their work!

Styling Slouch Boots

My passion today is slouchy boots, a chenille sweater, and a black puffer vest!! This has got to be my year of puffer vests, it’s so easy to throw one of them on and run out the door. Whether it be going to work, running errands, or going to the gym – they look good with almost anything. Well, anything casual!

I’m fortunate enough not to have to dress up daily, and some days I miss that, but wearing jeans to work is quite a delight most days! I got these Morgan Sweater Cuff Wedge Boots from JustFab and love them. The heel is 2.25 inches, so it’s a very easy heel to wear all day. It has a sweater cuff around the top shaft of the boot and buckle detail that makes the boot really stand out.

I wore American Eagle high-waisted jeans with a chenille sweater. I got the chenille sweater from the Boutique I work at but found a similar one at the RedDress Boutique, Cozy Content Grey Turtleneck Sweater. The puffer vest I am wearing is from NY and Co, I purchased this in September and these are now sold out with the gold zipper detail. They do have more zip front puffer vest in black and other colors if you want to browse them. Click HERE to browse.

The jewelry I am wearing is from JBloom Designs and I wear this necklace almost daily. It is called the Selena Crystal AB/Rose Gold Necklace, 15″-18″. This comes in Antique Black, Turquoise, Coral, Opal, and Iridescent Gold – these are really popular and have sold very well with women of all ages. I know these necklaces don’t really “go’ with my outfit, but it’s two of my faves, so I rebelled and wore it anyway! HA!!!

I threw on my Jeep necklace “just because”, I felt like being a JeepHer today! LOL!! This necklace comes in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold and can be personalized with initials, symbols, or up to 2 lines of anything you wish. To look at these more click on the picture below.

I love these necklaces and thought I would share some of the cute things you can do with them. Valentine’s Day is coming and this would make a cute gift for a Mom, daughter or best friend!
