While I was drinking my morning coffee out on the patio yesterday, watching the squirrels work tirelessly gathering pecans, I noticed some of the leaves were starting to change colors. That little bit of Fall brought a smile to my face until Barry shook his head and said, “look further up the tree…the limb is broke and the leaves are dying”. Talk about being a Debbie Downer, LOL! That’s ok though, cause we are sharing the rest of yesterday’s fall fashion finds. I split this post up since there were so many outfits, make sure you drop a comment and let me know what you think! First up is one of the best dresses I have found at Old Navy! You never know about the material when you purchase online, it may be thin, itchy, or wrinkle really bad; so I was very pleased when I pulled this cutie out of the package! This striped knit midi-dress has enough weight to it that it falls perfectly with a beautiful silhouette. This has a straight and simple relaxed fit that can take you from he desk to dinner with ease. I love the midi-length and the option to tie it at the bottom to give me more ways to wear it. This comes in XS-4X with tall and petite lengths available. I am 5’7″ and I am wearing a medium in regular length. This is a Best Seller with 5-star reviews! See the cute striped midi-dress here. You can wear this dress multiple ways with just a few changes. I am wearing this today with the chambray shirt tied at the waist, a crossbody, and a ball cap while we are running errands. These look great with joggers, jeans, and chinos, or style it over a jumpsuit or a cute cami dress with sneakers for a casual weekend look. I found this balloon sleeve cardigan in a rich burgundy with ribbed detail. This is in the Juniors department, but honestly, it fits as if it were in the women’s department. I wanted to style this with leggings or black jeans and snakeskin kneehigh boots, but I’ve been adding the leggings in quite a bit, and I thought I would give you a break. Lol! I shied away from the faux leather legging trend for a while, but after trying them out for a while, I can say that I have been warming up to it recently. The problem with me was learning or figuring out how I was going to style this trend. Today I am mixing both the buffalo check and the faux leather leggings and a few other options on how to style the leather leggings. My first outfit is an outfit that I wore this weekend, it was casual, and I did not feel like I was showing too much at my age. Many younger ladies won’t mind showing the fit of the leggings, but some of us older gals tend to want a few things covered up. I wanted to feel comfortable in my outfit choice, so I styled the leggings with the long mock-neck tunic from Target (it falls halfway down my thigh for coverage) with a neutral longer scarf and black boots. If you are older and don’t think you can pull off the faux leather legging look, try pairing them with a long tunic or a cute sweater poncho and knee-high black boots. I brought back the pink puffer jacket from Old Navy. You girls know I loved this jacket and it is adorable with chambray! All items fit TTS, I sized up on leggings. Outfit Details: // Jacket // Chambray Shirt // Leather Leggings // Sneakers Buffalo Check has become a huge trend during winter and the holidays as home decor and fashion. I love the print and have many things that I wear during the winter months, and this vest has been a staple winter piece for me. I decided to show the Buffalo Check prints early since these sell out super fast. I ordered my regular size (medium) in this vest, it Fits TTS, and it comes in black and white check also. See the vest here. I wanted a simple and trendy look for my jewelry and went with the Initial Chain from Anthropologie. We are a pajama loving family in the winter and this year, Barry and I set off to grab our matching pj’s before they all got gone. Old Navy has always been a favorite place for me to check out and do try ons. This is my first try-on since the pandemic started and boy was it different! Nonetheless, I had a great time out with Raegan spending some much-needed mom and daughter time together. The pieces I picked out are for now and later and all are on sale using the code SWEET for an extra 20% off! Up first is this cute leopard Slub-Knit dress, it is gathered at the waist and hits right above the knee. This is a cute everyday look that comes in camo and a black color option as well. I thought it would look cute with this marshmallow Moto jacket (sizes are limited), add a pair of booties and this look can carry you right into fall weather. See the dress here, since the moto jacket is limited in stock, I have added more options below. If you have thought about trying the jumper trend, this jumper is a great place to start. it is a great piece for now and later. Add a denim jacket and wedges for an entirely different look. Or if it’s still humid and hot where you live then style it alone with a great pair of sandals. This Fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference. See the jumper here. This jumper has a square neckline with wide legs for a flattering look on anyone. One of my favorite outfits were these longer white denim Bermuda shorts and floral tank. I’m seriously digging the longer shorts this year and after trying a few this summer, I think I will be a fan for a long time. These have great stretch and are so cute! They fit TTS and have stretch in the waist with a 9-inch inseam. The floral tank fits TTS and comes in different patterns and color options. I am wearing an 8 in the shorts and a medium in the tank for reference. See the tank here and the shorts here. The Eyelet Dolman top is super cute on person and comes in multiple colors. This green color was a perfect color to match the Cropped Linen-Blend Pants. I am a huge fan of linen-blend pants and these are at the top of my list. I have these at home and wear them all the time! It’s a cute pant when you don’t know what to wear. Add a tee or a tank, a cardigan or a sweatshirt, you really can’t go wrong with these gems! If you can grab your size in these Mid-Rise StretchTech Joggers, I would grab them and in a hurry! These are a thinner material made of polyester and spandex and can be worn dressy or casual. Add a tank and a jacket with heels for an office look or sneakers and sandals for a casual look. These come in 3 different color options and fit TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference. Yes…we will be having tacos tonight lol! While I was out and about running errands last week, I stopped in at my local Old Navy to look at their new arrivals. All I can say is colored jeans, quilted vests, midi dresses, and denim jackets are going to be HUGE! Sweaters and cardigans are always trending for Fall, so I thought I would share a few things I grabbed up very quickly. I love dresses and I love wearing them with boots in the Fall and Winter months. Old Navy has PLENTY of different styles that are on sale and really cute! See all Old Navy dresses HERE. I picked up one of the first ones I saw, I’m not sure what drew me to it, but I thought it was cute and a long burgundy cardi would look so cute with it. Add some taupe booties or tall boots for a totally different Fall look! I am wearing a Medium and there are 2 more colors to choose from. To see all the dresses (and you will want to) click here. I loved this Bluer Than Blue Brushed cardi and styled it with a sleeveless leopard tank (see similar here). I found this leopard top in the store, but had no luck finding it online, so I found some similar below that would work great too! I love leopard with bold colors! Try styling it with mustard, red, green, and pink, rather than beige, white and black. It gives it a wow factor and brightens you up and who doesn’t like a pop of wow? If you haven’t tried the Rockstar Jeans from Old Navy…you MUST try them! These are the High-Waisted Raw Edge Super Skinny Ankle Jeans and the hem is frayed! They have great stretch in them and fit very well, they even have a 4.7-star rating out of 866 reviews! These Rock! Because they are high-waisted they hold in the tummy extra good and who doesn’t like that? I know I do! These are a great jean to wear with booties, notice how they hit right above my booties – you will be rocking the Fall Fashion like a pro! See the jeans HERE. I’m all about comfort while around the house and I love a great tunic sweatshirt that I can wear outside the house with leggings. I for one like to cover the tush when I’m wearing my leggings, I’m not a Kardashian so it needs to be hidden HA! This is called the Boyfriend French Terry Tunic Swetshirta and you can do the half-tuck with this if you don’t like it hanging in the front. I sized up to a large, just because I like it very roomy and slouchy. The neckline is generous, but not generous enough to wear one side off the shoulder. These come in 5 different colors and they are super soft and cozy. See them HERE. I can’t do a post without a quilted vest…so let’s finish this up with one of my favorite looks! I LOVED this Lightweight Diamond-Quilted Vest, it comes in 5 different colors, but olive is really one of my jam for Fall colors! LOL! I wanted to share this great Summer outfit that is perfect for work, church, a shower or even a date night. This outfit is sooooo me! I love these gingham pixie pants I got from Old Navy last week! If you haven’t tried the pixie pants – you need to! They have a lot of stretch in them, plenty of colors and the fit…ohhhhh my goodness! These pants can be worn with heels, sandals, flats or flip flops – dressy or casual, honestly, these are THE pants to get! I had some of these a few years back but didn’t wear them (they somehow got pushed to the back of my closet) and I ended up giving them away. I tried them again awhile back and these are some of my favorites “non-jean” pants now. I love gingham check and I knew I wanted a top that would pop in color for Spring and Summer. I decided on this Wrap-Front Side Tie Textured Blouse in Tamarind to give it that vibrant summer look. What I liked about this top is I can cinch the waist in or let it out if I chose to. Plus the neckline is sewn together so I don’t have to worry about my blouse opening up as I move about my day. The Pixie Pant I got this white and black handbag from my local Cato back in February, I did not see it online anymore. I do like a good quality bag, but I really don’t splurge on handbags anymore. I guess I have come to the age where I would rather have a handbag and a couple of outfits versus a $300 (or more) bag. I will splurge on shoes here and there, oh speaking of shoes! Girls, Payless Shoes are CLOSING!!! I stopped by our local Payless looking for a pair of black sandals and the store was extremely busy.
