Date Night: Casual To Dressy

You girls have been asking for a few date night outfit ideas, and today is the day! I am sharing outfits that are casual to dressy and on trend! Some of these can even be altered just a little with a cardigan or blazer to wear to work or add sneakers for a casual brunch outfit. Or if you are looking for outfits that are possible Valentine’s Day outfits, then you may like some of these options. This is a “wowza” dress, cause that is exactly what you will say when you put it on! This dress has a twist front, it has stretch, and it is super flattering. I used fashion tape to keep the front secure, because the split is more than I would like and I could have taped it further down easily. I found this Grace Karin A-Line dress on Amazon and it is a definite keeper. The price is right, the fit is flattering, and it’s a dress that I can wear all yer long in different ways. I styled it 3 ways below to show a few options (date night, spring/summer outing, or with the coatigan for work or church). This dress has stretch to it, zips up the back, and did I say it was flattering? Fits TTS, wearing a medium for reference. This outfit is more my style for a casual dinner date! I found this notched collar blazer at Old Navy and I totally recommend this if you like the blazer look or want to level up a work outfit. This blazer has pockets, a split in the back, the material stretches and it is a Best Seller! I am wearing a large in this for reference and it fits TTS. See the blazer here. If you don’t like a lot of layers, this lightweight cream and black striped sweater may be an option for you. I bought this to wear with leggings around the house, but I loved it with the smocked waist black pants and will be wearing this out for a lunch date with girlfriends. Outfit Inspo! Lastly…is one of my outfits I wore out with the kids this week. My blazer is from Express, but I found one that is almost identical at Kohl’s for only $40!
