Outdoor Living Room Reveal

Today I am sharing my outdoor living space (AKA: screened in porch; outdoor living space sounds fancy, lol) – which has been a long time coming! I finally finished decorating it and getting everything put together, and we are loving this space! Before I shared the space, I wanted to make sure my bamboo shades were up for you to get the “true feeling” of the area, lol. This has become a space that the entire family is hanging out in. With the bamboo shades let down at night, it has become an extension of the house. I think this room/area has become the favorite room in the house and it’s not even in the house, HA! I hope you girls enjoy seeing what we have done so far, as I complete the deck and landscaping I will be sure to share that as well.

When I started planning how to set the space up, I knew I wanted a table for dining, or just to work on the laptop. I found this wicker table set at Wayfair and so far it has been a huge hit with the family. The seats are very comfortable, sturdy, and well made. See the table here.

I love all these decor items! The wooden wine bottle battery operated light is so gorgeous and one of my favorite finds! I also added in the wire cage small light (beside the tray) because I have ordered at least 8 more of these! They are perfect for indoor or outdoor if you need a warm light. *Details below

I’m loving this area to have dinner, work on the computer, or to sit and play card games or board games with the kids. The shades help so much with wind, not to mention how much it helps keep the warmth inside and the cold air out!

One of my favorite items is this Lantern Set of 3. It was a little splurge, but they are so well made and sturdy/heavy, it made the purchase totally worth it! I’ve bought many types of lanterns over the years and this set is the nicest that I have purchased to date! See the lantern set here, these do come in more color options.

I wanted a fireplace for the new area and I found this one that I love! It is electric and was very easy to assemble, see it here. In fact, I assembled all the furniture by myself…it was extremely easy if I was able to do it, lol! My TV is a TCL 4K 50-inch Roku TV I had delivered from Walmart and it is on sale this week! To give you an idea of how big this addition is, my patio is the entire length of my house. The section I screened in is 30ft. long and 10ft. wide. I left 20ft. open to eventually set it up as an outdoor kitchen in the future.

I opted to use solar or battery operated lighting for this area; since our backyard has a lot of lighting already for the pool and a ground level deck with extra wide steps will be put in soon that will have more lighting, it seemed like the most inexpensive choice. The warm lights make for a cozy atmosphere and I love to listen to the Sirius XM Radio app on the TV while I’m out there!

I am really enjoying this area in the mornings with my coffee. It’s a quiet area to read the Bible, journal, or just reflect on things. And…scroll social media, lol!
