Summer Casual Outfits With Belk
With the weather warming up, most of us will be getting out more and are looking to refresh our summer wardrobe. More family get togethers and Mother’s Day coming in hot Sunday, I thought I would share a few outfits that are interchangeable, can be worn for those casual get together and they are on sale so you get more bang for your buck.
First up is this striped scalloped skort by Crown and Ivy from Belk, that I am more than obsessed with! This is a Doorbuster and is on sale for only $19; it’s normally $54. I am wearing a size 8 in this (I have lost a few lbs and will give my sizes at the bottom of the post for reference), this skirt also comes in blue and white stripe, has a cute scalloped hem detail, it is a pull-on style with plenty of stretch. This is very well made and I have been wearing this on repeat, and I mean repeat! It’s one of my best buys this year. See the skort here. My blouse is by Wonderly and is also a Doorbuster that is on sale for $17, normally $49. This is a u-neck, cuffed short sleeve top that is made out of dobby air-flow fabric, and comes in multiple colors. I am wearing a medium for reference, see the blouse here.
Another Doorbuster are these cute Crown and Ivy 5-inch denim color shorts in Foamy Aqua. Stop scrolling because these are shorts you will want to take a look at! As soon as I tried these on, I was in love! They have stretch in them and hold the shape all day, so no bagging! These are convertible, so you can roll them higher or make them longer than 5 inches if you prefer. These are also on sale for $19, normally $54. I am wearing a size 10 in these, but have ordered an 8 and purchased more colors! Yep…they really are that good! See the shorts here. We are planning a family vacation for some fun in the sun and I loved the simple look of this Crown and Ivy Midi Smocked Dress. This dress is another piece that is very well made, it is lined and has a square neckline. I am wearing the blue stripe in a size medium; this comes in 2 more color patterns and is another Doorbuster that is on sale for $34, normally $99. See the dress here.
Let’s talk about this Crown and Ivy blouse for a minute! When you look at it online, the picture does NOT do it justice. I purchased in store and then looked it up online and to be honest, I would have never bought this without seeing it in person. This has quickly become one of my favorite tops to wear. I love the ruffle sleeves and the neckline also has ruffle detail, but is subtle and lays flat to your chest. I wear these all the time and get so many compliments. These are great to dress up or dress down and the comfort is phenomenal with the stretch! This is one of my looks from this week so I decided to share! The navy blouse is so gorgeous and flattering, I have been pairing it with everything! It’s so pretty in person with flirty, romantic detail!

Oh how I miss those days when my son played baseball. Once he was done I didn’t know what to do with myself cause we were always going and going lol. We were the same way! Always on the go and it took some time to get used to when they stopped playing. I sure enjoyed watching her play, it was soooo nice to get back out there with the kids!! And I’m definitely on the mend, way better than I thought I would 🙌🏼Holla😂😂

Thank you!! It’s funny you should ask about my health because they never could find anything wrong. Oddly, everything started going away about 2 months ago and the neurologist said he thought my issues were from stress. And I think I can pinpoint where that was coming from 😂
