The Perfect Addition For Your Wardrobe

I have found the perfect lightweight tunic to add to your wardrobe! At nearly 53 years old and going through menopause, I am constantly changing clothes from a heavier sweater or sweatshirt to something more breathable and lightweight. When I found this tunic, I couldn’t wait to share it with you girls.

This is the Destined For Success Taupe Sweater and it has a rounded hem in the front with a lower hem in the back. Perfect to wear with leggings for a comfy weekend outfit when you’re out running errands or pair it with boots or booties for all your Christmas family activities. I wanted to make sure you see the side of this tunic sweater because it is very slimming and a very flattering piece to have for your winter wardrobe. I am wearing a medium in this for reference. It has a relaxed bust, slightly skims the body and has stretch in it, so you do not feel restricted. This comes in XS-2X, you can see it on different body shapes here.

I added my puffer vest (I seem to be grabbing this vest on repeat here lately) and I loved the look! This vest is a thinner, lightweight vest that lays nicely (not bulky) which makes it perfect for layering or an on-the-go jacket. This jacket fits TTS and comes in multiple colors. I am wearing a large for reference. See my vest here. My jeans are the dark-wash super-soft skinny jeans from Express and they are on sale for 40% off. These are like wearing leggings…for real! I love a pair of jeans that hug in all the right spots and lets me move around my day without feeling like I am poured into them. That is one reason that I am forever going to Express to purchase jeans…they are my dressy legging, lol! Thanks for stopping by the blog today girls! Today is mine and Barry’s 11-year anniversary…what will we get in to? Ummm…nothing, since he has pneumonia, lol! He sounds horrible, but I still hear him singing every now and then, so I know he isn’t feeling as bad as he was. I guess I will be watching and crying while tuning into a Hallmark Christmas movie and I can hold on to my date night outfit for when he is feeling better.     I love the puffer vest and the plaid shirt! I need to visit Express to try on jeans for sizes! I think I bought every tunic sweater out there last year. Now that they all don’t fit, I think this one would make a good Christmas gift from my husband! I mean, I have been nursing him for a couple weeks now. I may not be Hot Lips Houlihan in the nursing department but I will whip his butt Army 🪖 style! 😂😂💋💋 I love Belk and fortunate enough to have one near us!       Oh Lordy!! I hope he gets better soon! I told you I am not a caretaker unless they are little 🥺 Barry pretty much stays to hisself when he feels bad, I check on him throughout the day. You know I have slept in Brooklyn’s room since September because of him being sick. Smh! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I miss my bed 🥲

    I had to kick my husband back to the couch because he is like a wet fish, all over and with his arm in a sling, he needs to be confined to a small place. Well, that sounded good. It’s really so I can have the bed. 🤣🤣😂😂

    Happy belated Anniversary Beverly & Barry!! I hope he’s on the mend so you two can go out to celebrate your marriage.
    Very cute outfits per usual. Grateful for your blog & posts with links plus Pinterest as it helps me look put together and cute. The flannel with vest is one of my go-to looks here in Northern California.
