Give Me All The Plaid!

Plaid is trending this season like I have never seen before, and if you love the look – grab that coffee girl, cause we are about to get all the plaid feels revving up! I have rounded up some of my favorites that can easily be styled with many different items you probably already have in your closet. I couldn’t stop with just plaids, so I threw in some of my most recent finds in stripes, and these are AWESOME FINDS! Perfect for fall, perfect for layering, and great pieces that pull outfits together…plus they are affordable! (Cha Ching!) 😁

My first outfit is one of my faves! I love this poncho from Target, for a few reasons. You girls know I am naturally drawn to neutrals, so that caught my eye right off the bat. But…the sleeves in this are actually sewn together to give your arm holes, which I LOVE! Elevate any outfit with this cutie and look casual chic while you are at work or out and about. This also comes in a cream and rust plaid also. See the poncho here. My camel raglan lightweight sweater is from Gap Factory and is worn throughout this post. This everyday sweater fits TTS (I am wearing a large) and is thin enough for easy layering. It’s also on sale 40% off, use code FORYOU to get an additional 20% off your order. This sweater comes in two more color options. See the sweater here.

Shackets and Shirt Jackets are everywhere and if you haven’t grabbed a plaid one, I have you covered today! I found this Shirt Jacket by YMI at JC Penney and it’s becoming my favorite shirt jacket so far. This is a lighter weight sherpa material that is a great weight to layer and still be comfortable. This is a longer shirt jacket that covers the backside and looks super trendy with the tall taupe boots! This outfit seemed to be the favorite on Instagram and Facebook last night when I polled outfits. This fits TTS (I am wearing a large for reference), and it’s on sale for $32! See the shirt jacket here.

I found this eye-catching plaid shirt (not flannel) at the Pink Lily Boutique, use code OCTOBER15 for an extra 15% off your order. These gorgeous neutral colors are perfect to style with jeans, leggings, or those faux leather leggings the “sassy girls” are loving, lol! It’s really cute with the moto leggings from Target, I shared this week too! i styled this with a graphic short-sleeve tee, the moto leggings, white sneakers, and this tied around my waist with a backpack purse and got a lot of compliments on the casual outfit. Outfit Details: // Plaid Shirt // Raglan Sweater // Amazon Ponte Leggings // Target Taupe Boots // Similar Brown Chelsea Boots // Transport Tote // Necklace // Wrap Bracelet // Chunky Knit Pouf (multiple colors available at Target)

You may still be in an area where it hasn’t cooled off yet, or it’s cool in the mornings and nights. If you are, this is a weekend outfit to consider since the sweater is so thin, plus you can always wrap your button-down around your waist for a cute look during the hours that are warmer.

How About Some Stripes?

I had to share this camel striped sweater from Target since it restocked! This sweater was sold out within two weeks, so when they restocked, I had to out it on the blog quick! This is a lightweight sweater that and comes in multiple colors including solids. It does run big, so size down (I am wearing a medium for reference). Outfit Details: // Denim Jacket // Striped Sweater (size down) // Amazon Ponte Leggings // Target Taupe Booties // Necklace // Wrap Bracelet

This is a Walmart Find that is a must-have! This striped Johnny Collar Pullover is a thin rayon and polyester top that comes in three more color options. This is a No Boundaries top from the Juniors section and I am wearing a large for reference. It does have stretch in it and is a great option to style for work, wear it with a skirt to church or pair it with jeans and boots for a casual look. It’s an all-around great top that really catches your eye and it’s under $13! See the top here.

Isn’t this is cute striped sweater? I found this sweater at Amazon and it’s a lightweight material which makes it perfect for wearing now on cooler days. Wear it as a layering piece with a denim or leather jacket when it gets colder. This has a relaxed fit and comes in more color options. I am wearing a medium for reference. **This sweater looks SO much better in person than the picture. Outfit Details: // Striped Sweater // Amazon Ponte Leggings // Mid-Rise Jeans (50% off plus extra 30% off using code: EXTRA30) // Target Taupe Booties // Similar Chelsea Boots // Wrap Bracelet

I love them all. Do the Amazon Ponte pants run true to size and would the length Work for a 5ft 3inch person? I love how they are so versatile but wouldn’t want them too tight. I know you size up sometime due to that. I also love flocked Christmas tree. I have one in my kitchen covered in food ornaments. So cute!

That Poncho is a must have for me. Last year you styled a sweater like pullover poncho from Target with a striped 3/4 sleeve under and I got it and wore it for thanksgiving and It looks like this year that poncho will be my thanksgiving outfit lol.. I love all the outfits you styled and honestly Im not big on plaids but I am really loving the colors that are out this year in plaid. I prefer neutral colors when it comes to plaids. I need a shopping therapy day to myself soon haha. Happy Friday and Enjoy your weekend.

I’m a big fan of the pouf. They’re great for extra seating and who doesn’t like to put their feet up? I’m constantly amazed at how much better clothes look on you than they do on the retailers websites! I love the striped Amazon sweater on you, but would never pick it based on the website’s pics.

This is a simple…probably silly request, but could you show the different ways you tuck in your tops? There’s no way you are a size large!! 🙂 How do you get them tucked in a way that doesn’t look all big and bulky.

Leave a Comment, I'd love to hear from you!
