Target, Express, Walmart, & Amazon Outfits

Today I am sharing a few items that I ordered over the Thanksgiving holiday from some of my favorite stores. This post started out with different outfits with charcoal black jeans but quickly escalated into a haul post. Since I could not post a few days this week, I am adding in the other outfits that I think you girls will like. Let me know what you think of those charcoal “black” jeans that I am currently crushing on, drop a comment below.

This combo is perfect for a dressier day out with the girls or a cute winter outfit for work. I love the turtleneck sweater in this gorgeous sky blue. This Fits TTS and comes in multiple colors. I am styling this in the beige below also. For those of you that like the chain link necklace, I found one for only $15 at Target, see it here. It’s a really thick, quality piece of jewelry. The cute ankle pants are also from Target by A New Day. These are perfect to wear with The Limited booties a lot of you purchased. The hem hits right at the top of the boot for a trendy look.

This was the most popular outfit on Pinterest for the past week, and it’s certainly one of my favorites. These are the charcoal “black” jeans that I am crushing on right now from Express. These have a raw hem, plenty of stretch, but holds you in and doesn’t lose its shape. The raw hem jeans are very limited in sizes, so act quick because they are 40% off. The regular hem jeans are fully stocked and fit the exact same and are also 40% off, see them here. The Slimming Puffer Jacket was a favorite last year and is still one of my favorite coats to wear during the week. This coat is very lightweight, comes in 4 other colors, the hood is removable, and fits TTS. The Marc New York puffer is on sale for under $70, see it here.

Have you tried a denim sherpa jacket? I love mine and wear it for an everyday look. This is a great jacket to wear with leggings and a longer tunic or button-down with boots for a casual weekend vibe. I decided to style it with a chambray shirt and the comfy jeans. This was also a trendy outfit on Pinterest this past week, so I thought I would share it for outfit inspiration. I have noticed with sherpa denim jackets, it is best to size up. I am wearing a Large for reference.

Another look with the charcoal jeans is to add a vest for style and an easy way to layer as it gets colder. Many of you purchased the buffalo check vest, which is a great way to style it for a casual look. The buffalo check vest looks gorgeous with a black turtleneck and white jeans for a festive look. The vest fits TTS, see it here. See more buffalo plaid below; this trend is insanely popular right now!

This black v-neck tunic sweater is from Walmart and comes in multiple colors. This is meant to fit relaxed, but I sized down, and it still fits fine. My jeans are from American Eagle, they are the Next Level Super Soft Jegging. I size up in these and they fit like normal jeans, but still have plenty of stretch. The main focal point of this outfit is the Koolaburra Remley Bootie. Koolaburra is made by Ugg, but not quite as expensive.

Outfit Details: // Sweater // Jeans // Boots

The Remley bootie is a gorgeous sherpa boot, with lots of detail in the boot’s back. This boot comes in black and cognac; the grey is sold out. These fit TTS and are super comfy! I purchased these since Raegan stole my Uggs last year. Any other mom’s out there know how that feels? Daughters stealing your shoes? See the Remley here.

Another outfit idea for those of you that bought the V-neck sweaters from Target, is to add the sleeveless soft turtleneck underneath with a pair of jeans. Add a crossbody and your favorite boots for an everyday outfit that is cute, comfortable, and stylish.

I’m about 3/4 done buying but haven’t started wrapping or address any Christmas cards yet. I usually would have that done by now.

    • Sandra Ussery

I have bought a few things mostly for my daughter. She is the easiest to buy for because of our similar taste. My son has a birthday in 8 days and I do not know where to begin. Love your posts!! Merry Christmas!!

  • Cathy Coon

Two gifts left and I will be finished. Wrapping is about 1/4 done. Hoping to be done this weekend. 🎄♥️🎄

I’m trying to get my shopping done but Covid is big in our area so I’m doing a lot of online shopping. In a few days it will be completed. I love a give away. This year is definitely a total different shopping experience.

Hey bev’!! I think I accidentally hit the back button and lost my comment I was typing, but if it does turn up, i apologize for a double post.
I love the dark grey jean’s with the raw hem!! And the buffalo plaid jacket, adorbs!! You always look wonderful!!
I’m about 90% done with Christmas shopping. I have done all of it, up until now, online. I’ve so enjoyed it too, honestly…with little ones, I don’t have the desire to be out looking, I’d rather be home spending time in the comfort of my own home.
I’ve particularly enjoyed Belks online, then I choose curbside pick up!! It’s been great!!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Looking forward to hearing about the bathroom project! Oh!…the picture of you and Barry is sweet!!! Love and blessings! -jess

Beautiful Beverly…. the chambray shirt with the Buffalo plaid vest makes a great combo. Also, I like your hair pulled up. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. My plan this weekend is to wrap, wrap, wrap and watch more Christmas Hallmark movies. Enjoy your weekend and stay warm.

Down to one Anima Bobble head 🙂 for the kids. Found great toys at Ollies Outlet yesterday! And my father and father-in-law. What is it about men that is so hard to shop for? I get women some lounge wear and spa products and they are happy. Love the Charcoal jeans. Sadly, Express did not have my size 14. 🙂 I will look elsewhere. Thanks for the ideas! Merry Christmas!

Im almost finished but haven’t started wrapping yet. Love reading your blog each day! Merry Christmas!

I really enjoy your blog. I’m 75% done with my shopping. Did mostly online due to the virus is bad here right now by me. Love the v neck sweaters from target and Wal-Mart.

    Good morning,
I did most of my shopping on line. The Amazon and fed x truck have been busy in my driveway!
I decorated my house Last week as my husband and I were in quarantine. We had direct exposure to someone who tested positive. So we did the right thing waiting for our results to come back. Here in Maryland it is taking 3-5 days for results. We tested negative praise God. I rarely do Christmas cards as its tedious lol. However I do like getting them haha! So now I do have to wrap something I despise.
I like the Christmassy looking vest. I wore mine with a dark denim shirt this week. I thought it looked great.
    Have a good weekend.

Amazing with all this time on my hands I’m not finished shopping! I finally found nice Christmas cards, I’ll have to get those done today and maybe even bake! I really just want to be outside though 🙂

Loving the charcoal black jeans!! New neutral color for my wardrobe!! You look so cute in every outfit ~ it’s always difficult to pick my favorite. We’re scaling way back on Christmas gifts this year and my tween and teen grandkids love gift cards and money. So, I always find an inventive way to make them into a present. Part of the gift is that we shop together ~ I take each of them individually ~ and we have a date. Shopping and dinner it’s so much fun and creates more of an experience snd bonding time. Equally fun for me. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Thanks for the outfit suggestions!!

Good morning! I think I’m about 2/3 done with my shopping, but our house is decorated. We went a little overboard with the decorations but our grandsons love it.

  • Pat

New to your blog and loving it! Love your style and that you keep things affordable. I appreciate your gift guide ideas…have adult kids too and they are so hard to buy for! I’ve done most of my shopping online this year and only have one more gift to purchase. Need to get wrapping now!

  • Karen

Almost finished with my Christmas shopping. So excited every day to read your emails on your blog. You make my mornings so enjoyable. Enjoy your weekend. 🎄❄️☃️

  • Nancy

My shopping is finished but I still have all the wrapping to do (my least favorite part)! I realized a few years ago that Christmas is less stressful to me if I get my shopping done early. I’ve now trained my family to give me their “wish lists” in early November so that I can get my shopping done before Thanksgiving. Then all I have to look for are the “surprises” that I actually enjoy shopping for (along with a few things for me, of course) 😀

  • Melanie S

Good Morning Beverly!! I am loving the Buffalo plaid vest outfit and I’m liking those black faded jeans and those boots? I found some hiking boots at Walmart that I’m going to get that I have never worn before & I’m looking forward to a new look for me. You always look great in every outfit you wear. I FINALLY went on my first Christmas shopping trip yesterday. I plan to try and finish up today but have a feeling I won’t. Haha. I’m usually a last min finisher 😜 Have a wonderful day!!

  • Pamela M.

I have only a few things purchased. First grand baby this year so we are excited. I enjoy your blogs so much. Enjoy you bathroom facelift.

  • Eve

Last year I sent Amazon gift cards but it doesn’t feel like Christmas to do that. I think everyone might get gifts this year but I’ve got to get a move on. Some go out of town and its trouble to buy paper, ribbon etc. I think I’ll wrap in brown paper and tie with that bakers twine in red and white. Travels better.
I love the plaid vest and especially with the chambray. Red Plaid just says Christmas to me. My neice ended up with my red Christmas boots but family…whatcha gonna do?🎄🎄🎄

We went to the TCU vs OSU game today and got to sit in one of the suites. Always a treat. TCU won. YAY!! Then went and did some shopping afterwards. I’ve got about half of my shopping done, but no wrapping yet. I need to get on it. You look fabulous as always!

  • Cindy G

Hi Beverly, Thank you for your time & energy to get all this together. You do an awesome job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 God has blessed you with a great opportunity to be a blessing to others ☺️❤️

Good afternoon and Happy Saturday! I read today’s post before I even got out of bed this morning, but we have been decorating All… Day… Long… and I am just now sitting down to comment. I would tell you which outfit is my favorite if I could choose one but I love them all! It sounds like you have had a very full week. I had not heard of The Christmas Chronicles so I googled it. Is it only on Netflix? I am hoping not since we don’t have Netflix and I would really like to see it. It is so nice to sit down and look around at all of the pretty lights and decorations. I have a chicken and veggies roasting in the oven for dinner so the house not only looks good but it smells wonderful too. I am almost done with my shopping and now need to start wrapping. I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. 🙂

I am so unorganized this year! My son, his wife, and 2 kids have moved in with us while they are transitioning back to NC from Ga. I have finished some shopping but I have no idea what is left to do. I need to sit down and make a list. I just can’t seem to find the time! Y’all pray for me!

  • Penny Jo

I have bought a lot of stuff and sent some gifts here and there to family. I am like the commenter above, I have no idea where I really am with shopping. I too need to sit down and make a list UGH!

  • Rhonda F Leon

2020 Has been such a trying year. It doesn’t seem possible that it is almost Christmas already. That being said, I gifted my daughters family a photo session this year which mean I automatically get pictures of the grandbabies for Christmas. I wish everyone here good health and happiness this holiday season

    • Beverly

That’s a great gift!! And you are so right, this has been a trying year for sure! Merry Christmas and blessings and prayers are being sent to all ❤️🎄

  • Gayle Lembryk

I’m happy to say that I’m done shopping, wrapped and ready to give!!! I had surgery in September so took advantage of the “down time” and did A LOT of online shopping. I think I’ve found a new tradition……. LOL!!!! Wishing everyone here a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy 2021!!!
