Sea Blue Sweater & Snakeskin Loafers From Walmart
I have been shopping at Walmart a lot since Covid came into our lives; it was literally the only bigger store open in our area for months. I’ve long said they have stepped up their game when it comes to fashion, so I find myself grabbing essentials each season. Today I am styling a super soft crew-neck sweater and a pair of snakeskin loafers that are trending and blowing up social media. Let me know what you think about them!
This Super Soft Pullover Sweater by Time and Tru is a classic crewneck style. Classic styles are always a great addition to your wardrobe as you expand for fall. You can layer this with a plaid shirt under or over, or add a long tee to hang beneath, or style it with your favorite pair of jeans like I did. This sweater fits TTS, it does fit loose, it comes in a beautiful magenta and a soot black. And…drum roll, please…It’s UNDER $12! I know this is a great find because my 20-year-old daughter has already tried to steal it! So beware! I love a great slipper for the winter months and I have barely taken these off since I got them. If I’m right, I bet most of you love a cozy slipper too! These are by Earth Origins and are the Run About Raine Suede Slipper with Faux Fur. These are very comfortable, and they will keep your feet cozy and warm. Plus, a raised back gives you extra coverage that mates well with anything from joggers to skinny jeans
These have a hard sole, so going outdoors is on the table! For one, I am in and out of the house a lot, so I need a slipper with a hard sole, and these are perfect for my busy days. I wanted a simple necklace since I decided on statement earrings, so I chose the Eliana Initial necklace. This has been popular with you ladies, and why not? It’s a perfect layering piece, it’s trendy, and it’s a perfect accessory when you only want a touch of bling, lol! The initial is pearl-encrusted and the necklace length is adjustable from 21-inches to 24-inches. It’s $16, you can see it here. My statement earrings are the Daylan Diamond shape cuties. Good Monday morning to you Beverly. It’s a dreary day here in New York but I am wearing a similar sweater today, trying to cheer things up. I love the snake print loafers but I am a size 5 and they start in a size 6. I am used to that problem! I do love the slippers though so I think I’ll check those out.

I love going to NY! When I traveled I was going to NJ a lot, whew! The traffic up there is vicious lol! What part of NY do you live in? I love those slippers! Love your outfits! Thanks to you I have gotten back out there and have started purchasing clothes again. I had gotten into a funk. I’m soon to be 59 and just stuck on how I should be dressing. In my mind I’m still in my 20’s. I’m slowly building my items. Can I ask what kind of belts do you like? I’ve noticed your jeans are the high waisted? I just can get into those. I think they are uncomfortable. My clothes need to be comfy. Love your blog!

That’s so good to hear Susan!! I feel the same way, in my mind I’m as young as a spring chicken, but my body tells me otherwise lol. I typically have 3-4 belts that I use regularly. The basic colors ( black, brown, gray) and a leopard belt. I like jeans that are mid rise to high rise. The mid rise are my favorite, in fact I just ordered a bunch of new jeans for the blog. I’m slowly rebuilding my jean stash, I lost weight on the FASTer Way To Fat Loss program and I donated a ton of jeans I can’t wear anymore. More mid-rise will be coming. Yay! Lol. I was at target yesterday and as I was looking around at the clothes and shoes from seeing your outfits I just had this instant relief of WOW I have FINALLY found the clothes that is for my age and I feel pretty in them and feel modest and I am just super excited. Good Monday morning! This morning my alarm went off at 7 but I fell back to sleep until 7:30. I guess I was having a difficult time getting out of bed as well. Troy and I went to vote this morning and it didn’t take us long at all. I like the sweater and the price is awesome. I know that I am probably in the minority here, but I cannot stand to even look at anything with snake print on it. I just don’t get the appeal at all and will be so glad when that fad is over. However, I do absolutely love the slippers and think that the dark brown Cheetah print are so cute!! I too like something with a hard sole so that I can wear them when I need to run out to the mailbox ect. I sure hope that Barry is ok and I will be praying for him. Have a great day!!
