I cannot believe it is already October, but here we are girls. September is the month that rolls out fall fashion, so it is a special month for me. It’s so fun to see what’s trending, bringing out booties, and sweaters. Nights are getting cooler, the air is fresher and our hair does not curl up or go flat from the humidity lol! Since September kicks off fall fashion, I have compiled the top favorites for September. It has been a while since I did a Top 10, so it was overdue. These are the top favorites from the blog and social media combined, you girls surprised me on some of these. Some not so much, but a few really blew the competition away!
The most popular item on the blog in September was this Off-The-Shoulder top from Gap, see it here. It is very limited in sizes right now, but The Gap has a similar boatneck sweater here that is super cute also. // Jeans // Boots//
The rust Universal Threads cardigan was super popular and is one of my faves from September. It fits TTS, comes in multiple color options and the sizes range from XS – 4X. It is flattering with jeans, skirts, or dresses. Want to shake it up a bit? Add a graphic tee with leggings or joggers and sneakers for a great weekend outfit around the house. See the cardigan here.
Coming in at #3 and #4 is this cute combo. The boyfriend jeans are starting to get low, so don’t wait! See the jeans here, see boyfriend jeans without distressing here. The Striped V-Neck Pullover is still at the top of the list going into this month. It comes in multiple colors, Fits TTS (loose fit), and comes in sizes XS – XXL. See the sweater here.
You girls certainly loved the Athletic Works Running Shoes in leopard print! These comfortable sneakers came in at #5 for the month of September! These cuties are great dupes to the Adidas and they are under $20! Yes…we all love a great deal. See the sneakers here. // Athleisure Jacket // Leggings //
This skirt (also in the first pic) came in at #6. It’s on sale right now for only $8.99, which is a GREAT deal. This skirt has an elastic waist, pockets, and Fits TTS. Can be worn with booties, sneakers, or tall boots. It’s an inexpensive piece to add to your fall wardrobe. See the skirt here. I am wearing a medium for reference. Comes in sizes XS-XL. // Madewell Racerback tank //
I was surprised to see the mules rise to the top so fast for the entire month, but you girls obviously love a great mule! At #7 is the Brynnuh Mule by Lucky Brand. These mules fit TTS, have padding in the soles (which I LOVE), and also comes in a pretty cognac leather option. Get 20% off these using the code: FAIRGAME through 10/4. See the mule here. // cardigan (similar)//
At #8 is this white dolman split-neck hi-lo blouse by The Limited. It is on sale this weekend for $20, Fits TTS, comes in black and a pretty seafoam color. it is also the same blouse that is worn with the mules in the picture above. Pairs well with a short blazer for workwear also. I am wearing a medium for reference. See the blouse here.
This slouchy crochet v-neck sweater from Old Navy came in at #9 for September. It is low in stock with only sizes XS-M available. It’s on sale this weekend for 30% off, fits TTS, kind of loose and baggy. I am wearing a medium for reference. See the sweater here.
We have a tie for the #10 spot and it is 2 items that I really like and have been wearing quite a bit since it’s gotten cooler. First is the textured crew-neck sweater that looks better on than it does on a rack. It has a relaxed vibe going on and I really liked it with the joggers when I did this Old Navy try-on. It Fits TTS, comes in several color options, and is also 30% off this weekend. See the sweater (I am wearing a medium/ color – Gooseberry Red) here.
The item that tied for #10 is these cute Sonni booties by Dolce Vita. Girls, I cannot express how comfortable these booties are and how much I actually wear them. I purchased these off the Dolce Vita website, but I found them on HauteLook for only $59, which is almost half what I paid. These come in black, leopard print, and snake print also. See the Sonni bootie here.
Did your favorite make the Top 10?
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies — in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11 (ESV)
As women, we struggle with comparison, and this often leads us to envy. It’s so hard, especially when we see so many truly faithful and inspiring women around us! We all have these thoughts at times, but we are each made with different gifts. Wouldn’t this world be boring if everyone was the same in every way?
Each of us has unique talents and gifts, some gifts we have not even realized yet, but they are inside of us, probably waiting to evolve and be found. Each of us offers something different; someone may be talented with song, others with teaching, others may be givers, whatever it is…we all play a pivotal role in life. You may have the prettiest smile that brightens someone’s day, or you may be the friend that is always giving an encouraging word. You may be talented in cooking and be able to help others. No matter what YOUR unique gift is, use that gift for good and spread a little sunshine and love around. In this world today, a smile will go a long way! Blessings to you all, and stay safe my lovely friends! XOXO
