What I’ve Worn Lately

Ok girls, I’m sharing my actual outfits that I am wearing around the house today. I try to get up and makeup every day, but let’s face facts, some days that just doesn’t happen. It’s joggers and a tee or worse, pajama pants all day lol! I know you girls do it to haha! Hopefully these outfits will inspire you to dig in your closet and find some inspiration.

A simple, fresh, clean, and classic style is neutrals and denim. I picked this outfit because Barry and I went shopping last week and I picked up a pair of some really cute Lucky Brand mules. If you love a mule for the fall, these are VERY comfortable with cushion, and to be honest, I couldn’t wait to wear these. So I did…the very next day. They are that cute in person! The blouse I am wearing is a short sleeve hi-lo button-up and a ribbed cardigan. The rest of the outfit details are below. I am wearing a medium or an 8 in all of these pieces. The blouse is on sale for under $18, see it here, and comes in two more color options. Cardigan is from last year, but a similar one is here from Target.

A white button-down shirt is a classic staple piece for your wardrobe and looks great with denim any time of the year and for almost any occasion. I started out my day with this shirt on, but it soon got warmer so I opted for a short-sleeved white top and a beige cardigan (seen above). The jeans I am wearing are some of my “go-to” skinny jeans from American Eagle. These fit TTS and are super comfortable, no matter your age or size, these look fabulous on. I’m apparently really loving button-down tops because I just realized that I am sporting another one lol! Button-downs are great to style with Moto jackets, blazers, and cardigans or can look effortlessly chic all alone. And if your weather is like ours, you may be bundled up when you leave for work and stripping off layers as the day goes by. (My gals going through menopause with me totally understand this). Remember those boyfriend jeans I styled here a few weeks ago with this sweater and booties? They are a great jean to syle so many ways, even with sneakers. Since I am helping Brooklyn with virtual school (it is going MUCH better btw), I am in joggers quite a bit! Instead of my normal t-shirt, I added the off-the-shoulder thin sweater and a pair of cute Asher Van slip-ons. I think these sneakers give the outfit a little pizazz lol! The joggers are from Walmart and are sold out, but they have some almost identical to mine that you can see here. I am wearing a medium in the sweater and joggers, both fit TTS.
