Makeup For Mature Skin Tutorial

As we get older, especially when we start getting into our late 40’s and 50’s, our skin is definitely not the same as it used to be. I have tried makeup from high end to drugstore brands and have found some items that I truly love and still continue to buy. But is there a makeup that can make our skin look smoother and more youthful looking? Yes!

I am constantly getting offers to share with my followers products and I am very picky about what I share with you girls. I will not share an item that I am not really loving and using . Just because someone gifts me a product and asks me to promote it does not mean that it gets promoted. I have sent items back to the company because it just isn’t something that is working and I’m all about sharing with you exactly how I feel.

Today I am sharing the 3D makeup that I have been using since January. This is honestly…some really good makeup! You use very little to get great coverage, its very affordable, and you can change your colors within 60 days if not satisfied. Plus, you customize the colors you want to use! From face, to cheeks, to eyes!

How Does 3D Makeup Work?

This concept was developed by a top beauty blogger/makeup artist and it’s broken down in simple steps. This one of a kind 3D foundation enhances skin tone, camouflages blemishes and dark circles, sculpts features and creates the “perfect lighting” on your face all in one quick application.

Putting a wash of one foundation color all over your face is diminishing those amazing angles and creating a “flat face” that just isn’t the natural you. Eliminating the need for layers upon layers of makeup, this makes it a light but full coverage that blends together creating a glowing complexion in just minutes. This refillable palette system eliminates any colors you don’t need, allows you to refill shade by shade, and organizes your routine all into one space. It also makes it easy to change up your look by swapping out colors at any time.

Here is my short video of how I applied the 3D foundation to my face. My eyes were already done for the day. If you would like to be color matched, click here.

This is hands down a makeup that is perfect for aging skin or more mature skin. It doesn’t settle in your fine lines, or imperfections and gives you a healthy glow. I had a follower get matched and got her colors and was so excited! She said it was easy and she felt beautiful, which made my heart swell!

I do highly recommend buying the Blush and Bronzer Brush or the Buffy Brush (this is my go-to every day). These are 2 brushes I use daily! In fact, I don’t even use my older brushes and I have some very nice high-end brushes. Remember, a little of this makeup goes a LONG ways! Notice that I did not use a lot of makeup! I did have a little sunburn around my forehead, but it covered that wonderfully!

Hi Beverly! I think that I told you before that I bought all of this makeup just before everything shut down for Covid. I haven’t been working or really going anywhere plus I was always wearing a mask so I didn’t want to waste it and haven’t even tried using it yet. I bought the products that I have through an online “party” that my oldest daughter had in February. It is good to know that I can get future products through you 🙂 When you are blending are you kind of pouncing or rubbing with the brush? Also, are you using more than one brush? I only bought one brush and also the sponge so far. I started my new job this week and have done some training. The Library is not open to the public yet but when it gets to that point then I will probably start to wear makeup daily again. For now I have only worn under eye concealer, that I had from before, and mascara because while wearing a mask that is really all that anyone can see. I loved this video and hope that you can do more.

Hey Kelly! I remember you telling me that!! I love this brand, it’s so easy to use and looks great. It can be a little intimidating because we are used to putting on one foundation ( a flat face) and thus gives you dimensions without layering. Ok, I am using the Buffy Brush and the Blush and Bronzer brush in this video. Those are my 2 favorite ones, although I did try the Power a Powder brush today and as I was using it, in my mind- I thought, I really like this brush lol Also, the Blend and Tap Eye brush is awesome! I do recommend getting the Houdini Brush Cleaner. I used my Ulta brush cleaner and it left my brush in a weird shape. So I got the Houdini and I can clean as I go now. You just spray it on and wipe it off. It’s a great brush cleaner. Cleans the sponge too!! I am going to do more videos, I’m finally getting to my New Years Resolutions ha!! Glad you are enjoying the library. I’d love to work with books!! ❤️ Have a great day!!
