Easy Baked Penne Meal in 30 Minutes!
Happy Saturday friends! Today I am sharing a super easy Baked Penne dish that is a favorite of my family’s. If you’ve been following for long, then you already know that I like to make dinners that are super easy and meals my family will actually eat. I have a picky crowd and the older Brooklyn gets, the pickier she is getting!
This is an easy dish that you can make on busy nights or those nights you are tired after working all day, but you still want to give your family a homemade meal. With the scare of the coronavirus, we are eating at home more, so I thought this would be a great time to share one of our faves!
You only need 6 ingredients and if you want to skip the alfredo sauce – I share below an alternative that is easy and tasty too!
Brown hamburger with onions and add pasta.
Cook penne, drain and add alfredo sauce.
Pour hamburger mixture on top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
If you are not a fan of alfredo sauce, you can mix the cooked penne with the hamburger and sauce mixture in a big bowl. Pour into a 9×13 dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
My family loves this dish both ways! But, Brooklyn likes it with only alfredo sauce. Change it up and add chicken for another meal idea!
Add a side of green beans or corn on the cob and you have an easy meal in 30 minutes!
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (32 oz. jar of spaghetti sauce)
- 1 (16 oz.) jar of alfredo sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) box of penne pasta
- 1/2 yellow onion diced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella shredded cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Prepare pasta according to directions on box
- Brown ground beef with onions and drain
- Put beef back in pot and add sauce
- Once pasta has finished boiling, drain and add alfredo sauce, mix well.
- Pour pasta mixture into a 9×13 dish
- Cover pasta with beef mixture
- Sprinkle top with shredded cheese
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted
- Serve and Enjoy!
Hope this gives you a new idea for a quick dinner for your family. Enjoy!
