How To Style Bootcut Jeans

Today I am showing classic pieces that every girl needs in her wardrobe. We all need a few staple pieces that we can use to throw an outfit together no matter what trend is trending. Classic and staple pieces never go out of style, so you will always look trendy when styling some of these. We all have those days we look in our closets and wonder…what am I going to wear? Or, I have nothing to wear and I have all these clothes. Anyone think that? I certainly have! Let’s look at a few pieces that are classics that I used to style my bootcut jeans.

I love a cardigan and wear them all year round. This cute red cardi has been on my “rotation” list for a while now. I pair it with jeans, skirts, and dresses all the time. This cutie is from my local Walmart and comes in multiple colors. I also have the leopard print that I styled back in the Fall with white jeans and sandals. This is about $12, fits TTS and I am wearing a medium for reference. See the cardi here.

I am styling a v-neck camisole from Target and I am really liking this one. This little cami is a wardrobe staple that will provide the foundation for a variety of casual-cute to more dressy outfits. The relaxed-fit cami flows over jeans or shorts and looks adorable tucked into skirts for a more dressy look. You can layer under jackets, blazers or cardigans for year-round wear and versatile styling, and you can find your perfect fit with every wear with the adjustable shoulder straps. See the cami here, it comes in black also!

Bootcut jeans are trending this Spring and let us all be glad. These American Eagle jeans are stretchy, but fit great throughout the day. Bootcut jeans are very flattering on most body types, styling them can be tricky for some ladies. How do you style them? If you are concerned about your mid-section wear a camisole like I have on below with a shorter cardigan or spring jacket. Having something flowy around the top of the hips helps hide any imperfections we may want to conceal. This look also gives the outfit a little pizazz! The jeans will elongate the legs while the flowy top helps in camouflaging problem areas and the jacket/cardigan will help bring attention to the face or away from the mid-section. See the jeans here. These are BOGO 50% off right now, or purchase one pair for under $40! I am wearing a size 8 regular length for reference.

I found these cute strappy sandals about 2 years ago and I am still wearing them! The heel is about 2 inches with buckle detail. The straps around the top of the foot are stretchy, so they wear very comfortably. This tan color looks great with jeans, shorts, dresses, and cropped jeans. Start thinking about your Spring sandals now! These are around $22, see them here.

Good morning! I love bootcut jeans and they are my go-to favorite cut of pants because they are the most flattering for my body. I like the camisole and how is looks so flowy and feminine. The sandals are cute too 🙂 Today I will be painting the second coat of paint on our laundry room walls. Later today I will meet Troy at Lowe’s after he gets out of work to pick out flooring for that room. After that we will go to dinner and then attend a 7:00 church service for Ash Wednesday. It is a busy week for me but I am enjoying that I am getting things accomplished. Are you still working a job outside of the home? I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Hey girl!!❤️❤️ you have a busy day planned but very productive. Yes, I’m still helping out a few days during the week. I’m liking getting out, but I’m sure this will not last long. Just helping them get caught up. I love my bootcut jeans!!! How are you liking your hair?

I have gotten a lot of compliments on the new hair cut but I am still kind of on the fence. I am going tomorrow afternoon to have highlights done. I have never had highlights or hair dye done in my hair before, eek! I am still trying to get used to the hair cut and it may need to be tweaked a little after the highlights.
