What To Wear On A Cold Winter Night

When it starts getting cold, I am the girl that starts freezing and I stay cold. So when we are going somewhere at night in the Winter, it is a must that I plan my outfit. I mentioned to you yesterday on the blog that we are planning to take our granddaughter to see Christmas lights, read it here. We will be outside riding rides, getting pictures with Santa, and visiting the Old Fashioned Candy Store – so I’m sharing what I am wearing to keep me warm from head to toe.

I needed a top that would keep me warm and I decided on the Crown and Ivy turtleneck from the Try-On Haul, it’s stylish, thick but not too thick, and my neck will be covered, if I want to add a scarf that will help with keeping me warm through the night also.

I am wearing my favorite jeans because honestly ladies, I have not worn anything that is this comfortable. The Madewell 10-inch High Waisted jeans are definitely top on my list for many reasons. They stay in place, they don’t fall down or sag, they have double stretch which makes it easy to sit, bend, squat, whatever I will be doing I will feel confident and comfortable. These are jeans that can work on any body type, no matter what your shape, these jeans WILL flatter your figure! See them here while they are on sale.

I have two different jackets that I could wear, one that I wear daily and one that I wear when it’s really cold or I want my legs to stay a bit warmer. So I am showing them both for you today.

First is my North Face Thermo Jacket, mine is a few years old, but is the most worn jacket I have, see the new style here. I bought this jacket when I was traveling to Illinois and dealing with very cold temperatures and an abundance of snow. It’s lightweight, insulated for warmth (even when wet), and you can roll or pack this up and it uses minimal space, and it washes great! A perfect jacket for everyday life.

For our adventure at the Meadow Christmas Lights, I will be wearing my Marc New York Slimming Puffer Jacket. It hits mid-thigh, lightweight, the pockets are lined with nice warm material, the hood is detachable – but I will be wearing the hood (cause I think it’s totally cute). More than likely I will be wearing a cute beanie to keep my head warm also. This jacket comes in four different colors, sizes XS-XL (I am a Medium, fits TTS) and can be seen here.

Let’s talk about the feeties! Is that even a word? I DO NOT like my toes to get cold and I will take extreme precautions to keep them warm. When my feet get cold, they will cramp up and if I can stop that – Imma gonna do it!! These Sorel Tivoli II Snow Boots are my “go-to” boots, they are cute, they are fur-lined and your toes will stay cozy and warm guaranteed! These are some of the most popular winter boots on the market and well worth the hype! If you have not tried a Sorel boot, now is the time! See them here and use code: SUPERCUTE to get 20% off!

These are just cool looking boots with jeans or leggings!

Adding some gloves that match my beanie, and a scarf, I am sure to stay super warm while we are out making memories with Brooklyn! What items do you like that keep you warm on cold days and nights? I’d love to hear some of your ideas that I’m sure a lot of us would appreciate!

What are you girls up to today and which jacket did you like the most? And I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the Sorel Boots!

Thanks Lisa!! It’s funny you should say something about a hair tutorial, I was just thinking yesterday I need to do one!! So I will ❤️❤️ Have a great day!!

You look adorable and so cute for your evening out tonight. I like both jackets and I too wear a shorter one if it’s not too cold and switch to my longer one if its colder and I want my behind covered. I bet Brooklyn is so excited. We are off to see our grandkids today and are going to take them to a winter wonderland so I too was trying to decide what to wear to keep warm. Tomorrow is their Sunday School program so the weekend will be full of fun! Enjoy your night out and hope your mom continues to do well.

This outfit looks super cute and also warm. As you know I already love the sweater 🙂 I recently bought a jacket like the longer one and I really like it especially if I want to have my legs covered a bit more. The boots are so cute and look like they would be very warm and comfortable. I don’t have much of a need for those type of boots where I live but I am pinning them just in case I ever travel to a colder climate where I would need something like them. I hope that your sweet Momma is continuing to heal and feel better. Have a wonderful time of making memories with Brooklyn tonight!!

She wanted me to tell you girls that she can move her arm a little more today ‼️🙌🏼 She’s very excited but she knows it will take time to heal. We go next week to get an MRI and see what the “muscle and bone dr” says lol. It’s be wonderful it’s not as bad as we suspect. I wear these boots throughout the week, I really like them and they are comfortable. I wear them mostly with hoodies or Sherpa pullovers. Especially on days I don’t feel like dressing up in an actual outfit 😂😂 Thanks for asking about mom!! Keep praying for her if you will, she’s been reading the blog and comments lol Have a great day!!
