Top 10 Faves on the Blog + Coffee Talk!

Happy Sunday! Before we get into coffee talk today, I was looking at the analytics on the blog last night and thought I would share the Top 10 Items that were the most popular items on the blog in the past 30 days. It’s always interesting to see what people are looking at…what’s a hit and what’s a flop! If you’re wanting a closer look, click on the name or the picture! I will tell you that #9 has just slipped – it was holding at #3 for the longest time!! Sandals have been huge also, we are all looking at sandals for the summer and Steve Madden is holding the #1 spot in ALL shoes on the blog from the past year! Go Steve! HA!

Here are the Top 10 listed backwards…

10. HUDSON JEANS COLLIN SKINNY JEANS

9. Jade Roller Facial Massager

If you did not catch the post about the Jade Roller, it’s a great read. You Can read it HERE.

8. DR. SCHOLL’S WOMEN’S ESQUE WEDGE SANDAL

2. UMGEE STRAIGHT OFF THE RUNWAY! BORDER PRINT TOP

These come in 7 different colors, the cream and cool grey are super cute!

I am surprised #2 is still remaining in the Top 10, it has been in the Top 10 since February!

1. LOFT FLORAL MOSAIC KNOT WAIST TANK

Number 1 hit the blog and blew up and was viral-like LOL! I loved styling this top and I still love wearing it. I was a little surprised that it hit #1 the week I blogged about it and has remained in the #1 spot. I feel like it’s March Madness for some reason HAHA!

Coffee & Girl Talk

Each morning when I get up and grab that cup of heaven, I sit and watch a little of the news and read some. I have a leather bound small book that is called God’s Promises For Your Every Need, it has been the one book that I have carried with me constantly since I was 26 years old. When I say carry it with me, I mean it has been in my purse almost 75% of the past 24 years!

As I was sitting here thinking and waiting for the Lord to push me towards a specific topic, my eyes kept going back to that book sitting on my coffee table. I would walk away, do a few things and I was constantly thinking about that book on Saturday. I even left the house to run to the store to pick my son, Chase, up something and that’s when it hit me! Share God’s Promises!

Let me explain why I love this book so much. This book has scriptures gathered together to help you through trials and tribulations. If you’re going through financial difficulty – it has scriptures for that. Marriage issues- scriptures for that! If you’re in need of patience, peace, in grief, feeling depressed, confused, tempted – this book has all the scriptures you need gathered together to help you get through those times.

This book has some wear and tear and it is very noticeable in my pictures! This 5×7 book carried me through the roughest times of my life. I have pulled this book out of my purse at work and took it to the bathroom and had a meeting with Jesus many times! I have sat in my car and read it on lunch for strength, just to get through the day. I read it at ball practices, I kept it in my nightstand – where I was – it was!

When I needed specific scriptures about a certain thing I was going through, thinking about, or needed an explanation for something – it was my “go to”. It was fast and it was the best way to get God’s word in my hands. I gave a few of these away as presents, I’m not sure if they used it or threw it in a drawer, but one thing I do know – if you have one and you are not using it then you are missing out on something big!

I love my Bible, but sometimes I need something where I can look up something like “finding the will of God” and it points me to the scriptures that back that specific need. “When troubles hit your life” – those pages are highlighted from top to bottom in my book – like I said, this book carried me through the worst times of my life. But what a blessing it was to have in times of need. So why not share this wonderful jewel??!!

I bought my book when I was a new christian and needed a little help. I found it while I was browsing Bibles at Lifeway Chrisitan Book Stores, but I found a few on Amazon I will link below if you are interested. These make great gifts, I would have LOVED to have gotten one over the years. So I was hoping someone out there could use this, it certainly has and is one of my top books for living a Christian life. I hope it will be one of yours too!

Good morning! It is another overcast and rainy day here today. I was surprised at how many sandals were in the top ten. One of my favorites is the Jade Roller for sure! I have the travel cosmetic bag on my wish list and need to order it sometime soon. Thanks for the book suggestion! It looks as though it would come in handy when I only have a few minutes but need to find some encouragement through God’s word. We will be attending church at a new place today and I have been praying that the Lord will lead us to where we need to be. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!!

Beverly, I can’t tell you how many storms were weathered with that little book you spoke of. It was gifted to me by a dear friend over 20 years ago. It got me through raising five children, caring for an aging mother, marriage difficulties with my sweet husband, and the loss of my brother. But it also reminded me of the joy I have experienced in my blessed life. Everyone should have this wonderful book.

Thank you Cheryl for sharing that!! I think everyone should have it too, I was surprised how much I used it after I purchased it!! Happy Sunday!!!

It’s been a busy weekend with celebrating Terry’s folks 70th anniversary and my folks 65th. We had most of the family present at both events so our folks were blessed to have family/friends help them celebrate. Lots of sandals in the top 10 so must be a lot of “shoe” people out there…LOL I love the #1 top! And..I love how “used” your God’s Promises book is and that you have found so much blessing through using it. Who could not use God’s Promises in their life. Thank you for the link to this. See you at coffee in the morning.

Lol!! I was thinking the same thing about the shoes!! We love our shoes ha!! Yes, that top is amazing and I’m so glad I tried it on when I was shopping. I almost passed it by! That little book is a game changer, I think you will like it!! Sounds like you guys have been busy. 70 and 65 years wow!! That’s awesome to have your parents together that long. I often think how things would be if my dad was still living-they would be well over 50 years now. See you in the morning!!!
