Happy Easter everyone! What a wonderful day today is, the most significant day in the history of the Earth that we celebrate. The day that changed the lives of every living being after the death of Jesus on the Cross, the day He rose from the dead. He IS RISEN!!! He’s Alive!!!!!! When I was a child, my mother had a Don Francisco record, the song that I LOVED so much was He’s ALIVE! At a young age of 10 or even younger, I would play this song over and over – just to hear the story. I would try to imagine if I was there at this time where Jesus was Crucified and Rose again. The part that made me cry tears of thankfulness is at the very end…He’s ALIVE!!!!!! What an impact that song had on my life and my Mom probably never knew that I was listening to her records.
I was a believer as a child and I am still a believer. My God defeated death, hell, and the grave, so we might take advantage of salvation and be with him in heaven. I know, that I know, that I know – my Lord Rose from the dead. He’s Alive and I’m forgiven – what a loving God who would offer himself so that his creation could have access straight to the Throne of God.
I will Rise one day also, my eyes are set on Him, He has overcome evil, Victory Has been WON! Praise the Lord! Worthy is the Lamb! I encourage you if
Lord, may I be humble always, Lord help me keep my eyes on you, for you Lord are my eternal love. No matter what this world brings, I will never forsake you, I will not falter, I will not be misguided, I will stand true to my Lord. The King of Kings, the Great I AM, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. You, Lord, are all I need, as Long as I have Jesus…that is all I need! For your eye is on the sparrow and I know you are watching me. I will be your willing servant. No matter what comes my way, for this world is not my home, but I am only passing through. I know you will be right there with me until the day I take my last breath and your angels take me where I stand in front of the One that died for me. You are the Lover of my soul, the One who has fought my battles, and worked things out for my good. I am undeserving, just a sinner that has been redeemed. Since the day I accepted you as my Lord and Saviour at the age of 26, you have had your hand on my life. I am unworthy of the love that you have shown. I am not worthy of the things you have given me in this world, you are my everything. I am so appreciative that you offered yourself so that your creation may have eternal life. Thank you, Lord…forever yours- Beverly
