Today, on the blog, I am sharing a skirt from JCP that I have been wearing and loving! When I saw that longer denim skirts were back in style, I hesitated just a bit – but soon gave in to give it a try. And I am glad I did! I have worn this skirt consistently through the summer and now into the winter. I know if I am wearing it this much, many of you may love it as well. It is so comfortable, it’s a very flattering style and it’s only $30. This is shown on the site worn as a crossover halter top, but I decided to wear it uncrossed. This is a Best Seller and comes in sizes XXS-XXXL! I love that they offer this in more sizes (I am wearing a medium for reference) and this dress has pockets! See the dress here. Sofia Halter Dress // Scoop Sandals (on sale under $25) more colors I rarely find items that I will wear by No Boundaries, but I really loved these skirt and top set so I gave it a try and I’m glad I did. This cute summer skirt set comes in more prints and is under $20. I did size up in this since it is from the juniors section. Since it is a set, breaking it up and wearing the skirt with a bodysuit or a different top is an option, or the top with another skirt, shorts, or jeans. See the set here. Today I am sharing my latest haul from Target and Amazon! These are all great outfits that can double as workwear, right on to date night or vacation! I also added in a mixed media top from Loft which is one of my favorites that just got marked down to $23! Hope you enjoy! First up are these Slim Fit Ankle Pants from Target…oh my geez! I love them! I have worn these on repeat and decided to grab these in a few more colors. These are lightweight, fit TTS, and have an elastic waistband in the back. I am wearing a size 8 in these for reference, see them here. My cap sleeve top is by Amazon Essentials from Amazon. This top feels like a tee it is so comfy! Friday Faves From Nordstrom

Today on the blog I am sharing some of my faves from Nordstrom. When the #NSale is happening, I typically look for items I know I need, items I am definitely going to use, or items I want to pick up for Christmas presents to get a head start on my list. I give myself a spending budget and stay within my limit so I don’t get carried away…cause we all can great carried away at times, lol! From my favorite bra, lipsticks, to sunnies, to my must-have pajamas…these are all my top faves and I stayed within my budget! Hope you enjoy!! This is the bra that I wear most often, and I literally mean I wear these bras almost daily! I have every color in this bralette and it is by far the most comfortable bra I have ever tried. This is a convertible bra, so you can wear it crisscrossed for racerback tanks or sleeveless tops. It has no wires, no seams, and the wider bands holds you in so you look smooth under your arms and from the back. This is normally $44 and is now $28, see the Tru Body Convertible Strap Bralette here. I am a fan of Charlotte Tilbury products and the Pillow Talk Lipliner and Lipsticks are always in my makeup arsenal. If you look in my purse, these are always with me! The Pillow Talk is complementary to any skin tone, and the only lipstick that I can wear year-round. This Pillow Talk Lip Kit is normally $92 but is now only $59. if you have not tried these, I strongly recommend them. They are long-lasting and this price is fabulous! See the Lipstick Set here. Most of you ladies know that I am an avid walker, and my main way to stay fit; so I am always on the lookout for sneakers that are not only comfortable but will hold up. I typically walk about 5 miles a day, so I need a sneaker that will keep the strain off my joints and gives me plenty of cushion. The ON Sneaker line has been my favorite so far, I have three pairs of ON sneakers, and seem to be the ones I am always grabbing for my walks. These are the ON Cloud X Training Sneakers I just purchased and I’m already wearing them daily. These come in more colors, they have vents to help your feet breathe and plenty of toe room! See my On sneakers here. Every year I buy the Moonlight Eco Pajamas and I cannot get enough! These are buttery soft to lounge in and they keep me cool while sleeping. Going through menopause, I am dealing with hot flashes and I have to stay cool while sleeping…that is a MUST right now, lol! Not to mention, these come in more colors and are perfect to take to the beach when we head down to my brother’s to visit. These fit TTS and I normally buy a medium in these. See the pajama set here. Barefoot Dreams is one of my favorite brands, whether it is the throw blankets or the cozy cardigans…I am a huge fan! I only purchase these when they go on sale because honestly…I’m a tad cheap, lol! This CozyChic Lite Cardigan is the one I grab from Fall through Winter. It is the most comfortable and the softest cardigan you will find. These come in more colors (the dark gray is sold out), they are normally $116 and are now only $79. These sell out fast, so check them out here. I snagged these Quay Navigator Sunglasses on sale for only $43! Many of you know that I have been having issues with my eyes for over a year now, so I cannot be on my phone, tablets, computers, etc. for any extended amount of time. I also have to have varying shades of sunglasses to wear when outside due to the nerve damage from the Epstein Barr Virus, so when I saw these on sale…they were in my cart ASAP! See the sunglasses here. My only splurge this year was the Clare V. Marcelle Backpack. Clare V. has been on my wishlist for a while now, so I decided this year was going to be my year, ha! I love backpack purses for the convenience of carrying something that can hold my work essentials if I’m at the coffee shop or keeping my items safe while shopping by using both straps to secure the bag to my body. Plus, backpacks are great options for the fall and winter when wearing many layers. This is perforated leather and it also can be carried as a bag with a cute handle. See the backpack here. Fall Dress Drop

It’s been a while since I had a “dress drop” post, and today is the day to ramp it back up! I have found the cutest fall dresses for work and even for the holidays! Are you going to a fall wedding? Want a cute dress for work, or date night? I have you covered! I am sharing some super cute finds from Amazon and more! Enjoy!! I love this sweater set for so many reasons! It can be dressed up or down (which is a necessity for me) it is super flattering and it’s affordable! This sweater set is from Amazon by Daily Ritual and comes in multiple color options. I chose the lilac in a size medium. The dark chestnut brown is also a gorgeous option! I styled this with heels, boots, and sneakers to show the different ways you can style it. See the sweater set here. Another fall dress option is this cutie from Old Navy. This long sleeve midi sweater shift dress is super soft, trendy, and comes in more color options. For a different look, add a belt to accentuate your waist, or add a denim or leather jacket for a weekend or date night outfit. This dress has a relaxed fit, but fits TTS. I am wearing a medium in this dress for reference. See the dress here. I styled it with a (similar) fanny pack and black booties, then decided to try it with the leopard booties for a different look. Shoes and accessories really do make outfits look different! I REALLY love this sweater dress from Amazon! This is a ribbed turtleneck dress with a slit up the side that allows for easy movement and it’s under $35! This dress does fits TTS, and I am wearing a medium for reference. This dress has some stretch to it, which makes a great option if you love comfort and cuteness! 🥰 This comes in more color options, see it here. I love it with the leopard booties also! This is such a great dress to style with slouchy boots or booties for the fall. A perfect dress that can take you from desk to dinner! See the dress here. This dress was in my Amazon Prime Box, it was a bit wrinkled, but I still wanted to share because it’s such a great dress for the holidays! I know that sounds a bit premature, but you never know when you may need a dress for a special occasion. The sizes are a bit limited, and I want to make sure you can grab this before they all are gone. This dress comes in black and navy as well. This dress fits TTS (I am wearing a 10 for reference) and it can double as a cute date night fall dress. Outfit Details: // Dress // Sandals // Chain Necklace // Denim Jacket I have not purchased a denim skirt in quite a while for the blog, and I really loved this neutral denim skirt I found at Target, and decided to style it a few ways. I found this oversized flannel shirt at Old Navy (I am wearing a large for reference) and LOVE it to wear with jeans and boots this fall, but I think it looks pretty cool and trendy with the denim skirt and booties too! The skirt fits TTS and comes below the knee, see the skirt here. The flannel shirt is limited in sizes, but you can see all the flannels here. Be on the lookout for the flannel I am wearing, because it will restock! I found this sweater from Old Navy and it is a perfect match for this skirt! I am so excited about today’s post, girls! I love an outfit that catches your eye, or the outfit you put on and you’re looking in the mirror and your self-esteem jumps 100%! I don’t know why clothes can have such an affect on how we view ourselves, but they do. We all have those days we love our outfit and we look in the mirror before heading out to work and feel like a BOSS! And today I am sharing a couple of outfits that made me feel more confident during the day and I think you will love them as well. I could not wait to share this Candace Cameron Bure striped knit top today. It is from the fall collection and it just dropped on QVC, so these will not last long. This top comes in three more color combinations and can be worn on or off the shoulder. The material is luxurious! Her line is a quality product that will last wear after wear.I am wearing a large, but I could have worn a medium, although I wanted a looser, free flowing vibe to wear with the white Levi’s skinny ankle jeans and heels. I love the slight distressing, but I really like the ragged hem with the heels. I think it gives it an edgy look without trying too hard. What do you think? Friday Try-On Haul: 9 Outfits For Now & Later

It’s Friday, and today I am showing nine outfits that can be worn now and later. Can you believe fall fashion will be dropping in just a few weeks? I guess by the end of July everyone is getting tired of summer fashion and ready for a change. I am a fall fashion LOVER and I am super excited to start picking out items and seeing what will be trending. Until then, I will keep posting outfits that can be worn for a while plus items that can be worn into the fall or year-round. But, now is a great time to snag all the deals since retailers will be marking items down, and we all love a great deal! I am in love with this mixed media v-neck short-sleeve shirt from Gap Factory. This is a great shirt for work or play and a great top that can take you into fall easily. Right now it is 50% off and under $20! It’s totally worth it! My khakis are from last year and are sold out. I did find an almost identical pair in the same lighter color at J. Crew Factory and they are on sale for 43% off, see them here. I found this gorgeous crossover peplum top at Madewell when I was looking for jeans. Have you tried Madewell jeans? Oh my gosh, they are some of my favorite wearing jeans of all time! Anywho…I found this top and loved the color and style so much that I decided to try it out. Madewell is a higher-end company and I am so glad they offer Afterpay! This is a cute blouse to style with jeans or shorts and I love it with the looser jeans and sandals. See the peplum blouse here. I worried it may fit a little snug through the chest area, so I bought a large and I am glad I did, especially with the snap closure. These are a mid-rise jean with a chewed hem and slight distressing. These are skinny jeans, so I am wearing a size 10. They have fabulous stretch and they are definitely keepers! I can’t wait to style these with booties this fall! These are under $25 and they come in multiple denim shades also. See them here. Aren’t they so cute?? They are totally must-haves for fall! Another Target find was this cute boat neck smocked hem t-shirt. It’s only $12 and wears great – now that’s a fantastic duo, lol! This comes in more color options too, see it here. The shorts are the retro boy shorts by Scoop. I love these shorts to wear around the house, they are super comfortable, but they may be because I accidentally bought them a size too big, ha! These shorts should fit tighter than mine, but I am still showing them since I love them so much, plus they are only $11! These come in multiple colors, see them here. Have you tried the linen tees from Target yet? I absolutely LOVE these tees, and for $12, I can afford to buy a few. This mint striped tee looks adorable with the white straight twill pants from the Loft (40% off with code TREAT). I am wearing a medium in the tee and have plenty of room since there is a tad bit of stretch in it. These tees are perfect for layering with blazers, cardis, and jackets. See the tee here. While Barry was having his surgery, I headed out to grab breakfast and stopped in at the Gap Factory to look around. I found this cute peplum white blouse that is only $10 and is so adorable! I also found those cute jean joggers that I have been looking for and they are so much “cooler looking” wearing them on you than they are in pictures online. The white v-neck shirt also caught my eye and it’s also a perfect top for now and later – did I say it was only $15? I mixed it up a bit and tried on the camo joggers, these fit TTS and I can’t wait to style them with a denim jacket or a cute beige cardigan for fall with booties or sneakers. It’s #tryonfriday and boy do we have a lot to show! I am showing some of the cutest one-and-done outfits, from rompers, overalls, to dresses; they are new, trending, and looking fabulous! I was so surprised at how many new items were at Old Navy and couldn’t wait to get started on a Try-On Haul. Old Navy is also having a sale that is 25% off most items, check that sale out here. When I tried on this cute Smocked Tie-Dye Midi Swing dress, I totally fell in love. it is so stinking cute and I love the way it flows especially with the midi length – it makes a perfect summer dress. I love the smocking, the square neckline, how it is shirred throughout and the tiered midi-length totally had me hooked. It fits TTS and comes in a gorgeous blue cream option also. Tie-Dye is definitely having a moment right now along with jumpers and rompers, so I had to grab up this gorgeous blue tie-dye romper to try on. This comes in a gray tie-dye and a gorgeous coral multi-color also. It ties at the waist and has pockets, the material is french terry with a 4-inch inseam. I am in love with this one! I love the tie-waist and the ability to wear a tank underneath like I did or button it up and style it with cute wedges. I am wearing a medium for reference. Who loves the overall look? I must admit that I am totally digging these Slouchy Workwear White Jean Overalls! They are so cute and it takes me back to my younger years; remember when these were so popular in the ’80s and ’90s? I like the slouchy look so I sized up to a size L for reference, and the inseam is 3.5 inches. They are kind of slouchy, so the inseam seems more like a 4-inch inseam. See the overalls here. I love getting together for the fireworks, and of course the grilling! The food, desserts, and pool time with family are so much fun. 2 Talbots Summer Outfits

I am loving all the bright summer colors that are coming out this season and I am taking full advantage of it by shopping at Talbots. I love all the colorful prints they offer and how easily you can style and pair the pieces together. Talbots is a splurge for me or when I am looking for something that I can wear for an event, or if I am looking for a piece that will last a long time. I have been loving their shorts, skorts, and the cropped pants, so today I am sharing some of the colorful, fun items I have found lately. This is one of my favorite outfits to wear when I need to dress it up a bit. This crepe side tie top was a splurge, and I wasn’t sure I was going to keep it…until I tried it on. I love the color, the fit, and the cute side tie. It’s a great blouse to dress up shorts, jeans, or wear to church or work. This does fit TTS and comes in a gorgeous watermelon color also. I decided to style it with the perfect straight cropped pant from Loft and they happen to be on sale for only $30! These are normally $69, so make sure you use code SUNNY to get the sale price. These are my favorite white pants by far, and I love the fit and style of these cropped pants. Wear these with sandals, heels, or sneakers – they are the perfect summer pant and come in multiple color options. These fit TTS; I am wearing a size 10 and have plenty of room for reference. I decided to give the look a big pop with the pink crochet clutch from Target along with a beaded necklace from Amazon. On one of my “hanging around the house” working on getting the office organized days, I was wearing this cute ensemble that is also from Talbots. Stope the presses! This supersoft slub polo tank is AAAMAZING! It’s so breathable and has great stretch that is totally needed during the summer. This comes in three more color options and fits TTS. See the tank here. This is a purchase that I believe you will love because I am so impressed with the fit and feel. The cute Buckle Sandals are taking over social media for a few months and now and I was slow jumping on the bandwagon. All I can say is I wish I had jumped on it a lot sooner. They aren’t the cutest sandal I have ever worn, but they certainly are some of the most comfortable sandals I have worn! Summer Style With Target

It’s heating up here in North Carolina and I have been on the hunt for some cute additions to add to my summer wardrobe. With the weather being muggy, humid, and hot…I am looking for items that will keep me cool, easy to move in, and hopefully find items that I can wear into fall by adding a jacket or cardigan. I found some adorable dresses and jumpers at Target that are all on sale, and I mean a HUGE sale! Today is all about summer fashion that won’t break the bank, which is my favorite kind, lol! Check out my latest finds and let me know what you think! If you want a great fitting dress, one that is super cute, made well, and the material is awesome – then you will want to take a look at this cute dress that I have moved to the front of my “repeat’ dresses! Hold on to your horses because this dress is on sale for only $9! it’s made by A New Day with a relaxed silhouette and can easily be worn for lunch dates or dressed up for work. This little cutie will take you right on into fall; just add a cardigan or jacket styled with booties or sneakers! It fits TTS, and I am wearing a large in this dress for extra length (I am 5’7″ and normally wear a medium). I am loving the wider cut shoulders also! It gives it a different look that’s not like a regular t-shirt dress; do you think some of the 80’s looks might be coming back around? This comes in multiple colors, see the dress here. Doesn’t it look cute with my LV Inspired bag from Walmart? I shared a few pictures on social media this week and I was bombarded in my inbox asking about my sandals, so I am sharing them with you girls since they were such a hit! These sandals are by Michael Kors and were my splurge for this month (my splurge was under $90, so it wasn’t much of a splurge, lol). This color is called luggage, but you will love the black in these sandals just as much. They are super chic and the padding in the footbed is awesome! I sized up 1/2 size in these and they fit perfectly. See the sandal here. I picked this jumper up on a whim and had few expectations of how it would look. To be honest, I thought this would be a huge fail, but when I put it on with a tank underneath, I fell in love! This is roomy, non-restricting, super cute with a tank or tee underneath, and can easily be worn with sandals, sneakers, or your favorite Birkenstocks! Dress it up by adding accessories, a cute pair of strappy sandals or wedges, and style it into the fall with a fabulous moto jacket for a super chic look! These are trending right now and the stock was very low, so I added in some similar jumpers in the carousel below. These sandals match the olive perfectly! When I pulled this dress out of the bag, Brooklyn’s little eyes lit up – she is a huge tie-dye fan! I must admit, I was a bit hesitant at first, but I am absolutely loving this comfy dress!
