Friday Try-On Haul

Are you ready for some cute new fall looks? Today I am sharing some of my most favorite outfits so far since the “fall fashion drop”, that can be worn now and later into cooler weather. I have new fall sweaters, cute jogger sets, my new favorite camo ankle pants, the BEST wearing twill jogger pants, and even my new pajama finds! If you are ready for fall, and I think a lot of us are ready for the change of the seasons, you will love this cute sweater from Loft. This cute sweater has a pumpkin then the word SPICE on the front, it’s such a cute fall piece for your wardrobe. Wear it alone or style it with a chambray shirt underneath or get a little edgy and style it with a cute pair of joggers with a gingham button-down underneath. The last jogger set I shard on the blog stayed in the Top 10 for weeks and it is still in the Top 15! I found this jogger set and I just had to get it because of the front of the tee…Be Kind. You will see more inspirational words on other items again, I must have some kind of subconscious thing going on because I am loading up with positive graphics here lately. This jogger set comes in solids, and other colors, and fits TTS – I am wearing a medium for reference.

Have you seen this hoodie sweater pop up on Amazon? If I see an item that keeps popping up, it’s a sure sign that it is a very popular item. I like this sweater, however, I would size up because I am wearing an XL in this. I like my clothes a little looser around the mid-section and a large probably would have been too tight and the sleeves would have been too short for me. If you are over 5’5″ I definitely would size up, a more petite frame could wear their normal size. This is a super cool item ton wear with shorts now and really cute in the fall with jeans and a leather jacket! This comes in more color options also. See the sweater hoodie here.

How cute is this look??? This outfit was something like I would wear to work when I was not working from home. I wanted something that was unique, but comfortable and affordable, plus I always wanted to take one last look in the mirror and smile back at myself. There were MANY mornings that did not happen, HA! There were many mornings I would try on outfit after outfit and end up wearing anything I could grab because I was running late. These days it’s more like looking to see which t-shirt I am going to wear, HAHA! I guess that is why I love going to church, it gives me the chance to dress up and feel like my old self again. Ok, enough of that, let’s talk about this sweater I found at Amazon…YES girls, I said AMAZON! It is a really nice sweater with button detail on the shoulder, it fits TTS, and comes in multiple colors. I am wearing a large for reference. I styled it with the twill jogger pants from Loft that I am LOVING! These are a nice twill pant with a drawstring waist, and has a rolled cuff for the jogger look. These are perfect for a business casual work environment, and can be dressed up even more with a cute camisole and a nice blazer. Even style it with a graphic tee and boyfriend blazer and mules or loafers for a weekend look. I am wearing a medium in the joggers for reference and these come in more color options.

This is one of my favorite outfits from this past week! I found these gray mid-rise utility camo ankle pants at Target and have fallen in love with them. They are very stretchy and comfortable and fits TTS, I am wearing a size 10 for reference. I have these in olive also because they wear so great. These have a skinny fit to them, but move with you throughout the day like joggers! I styled it with this white button-down shirt and love the look with and without the denim jacket. I added my everyday tote and styled it with black boots. I love this look for the fall! One of my new tees is this gorgeous blue “Be A Kind Human” tee from Amazon. This fits TTS and I am wearing a large for reference and comes in multiple color options. I really bought this tee so I could point to the wording if Barry gets a little ornery, LOL! Just kidding!! I think this will look super cute with jeans and a white blazer for the fall or a great cardigan! See the tee here.

I’ve been seeing this top pop up on my Amazon feed for the past few weeks and I decided to take a chance on it and I love it! I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it, but I’m really loving the unique pocket and the stripes. I’m an obvious stripe lover, can you tell? This knit blouse fits TTS, and I am wearing a large for reference. This comes in a huge range of color combinations and can easily be worn as a tunic or tucked in for a relaxed look. When I was waiting to get the results from my MRI, my mind was running crazy and boy did I do some shopping! I decided I might better purchase a few new pajama sets and a nice robe just in case. If you love pajamas, then hold on to your set because these 3 items are on my must-have list! (of all time!!) First is the Honeydew Intimates Jersey Robe, oh my goodness, this robe is so soft and wears so good! It even made Barry raise his eyebrows when I waltzed down to the kitchen the other morning, HA! It’s only $38 from Nordstrom and it is a humdinger of a winner! My nightshirt and the pajama short set are just as soft and I have been wearing the short set and I am sleeping like a baby. If you love intimates and loungewear, these items are totally worth a look. These three items will be at the top of my faves list for a long time! They are that soft!

    I am in love with the black and white tee with the brown pocket. I see that in my future for sure!

    So question, I love all of the jeans you style. Can you tell me the best place to find a good pair of jeans that are not distressed? I can wear jeans to work on Fridays, but not those that are distressed.I am having a hard time finding any.

      Express has premium denim and I have quite a few of them. But as I was going through my closet I found my jeans from American Eagle that I had forgotten about. They are not distressed, come in mid rise to super high rise and many are not distressed. They wear wonderful!! Also Levi’s are a good brand, and Madewell jeans are a little pricey but will last for years!! And they fit really good!

      I’m loving the Amazon stuff too!! I teamed up with them and they have really opened my eyes to a lot of brands that are affordable and are turning me on to premium brands that are super nice also. You girls will be seeing more this fall!! Love that price point! Lol!! And thank you for the sweet comment!!❤️❤️

    I always enjoy your Try On Haul’s with my morning coffee. I copied several of the outfits to my pinterest, for inspiration. I loved your dark camo outfit, I have the pants in my closet, got them at thrift store -nwt for $2, and was going to put them with a black sweater, but your outfit is so much more edgy.       What?? $2, I never find good deals like that. My mom sure can though!! She gets out and about though, I’m a hermit 😂Barry makes fun of me all the time. For me to get out is a HUGE deal. I wasn’t like that before Covid. I guess I got used to a routine and I’ve stuck with it. Now that I’m feeling a bit better I am ready to get back inside stores and do regular try-on hauls again. It’s much easier looking through clothes on racks verses web pages 😂😂 Thank you for the sweet comment 🤩

    I actually have a list going of items I am shopping for after seeing your last few posts. 🙂 Gonna add the camp pants. Currently have a denim jacket in my amazon cart and it has good reviews so I’m hopeful. thanks for sharing your finds!

      Awesome!! If you’re getting the Ryders denim jacket, get your regular coat size. It has stretch in it and wears fabulous!! I like it much better than the one I got from Old Navy!!

    I just wanted to tell you that my husband has MS. If you get that diagnosis and need someone to talk to or message, feel free to with me. He has had it for almost 30 years now. He is 56 and doing pretty well. I know it’s scary not knowing what is going on. Praying for good news and peace.

    cute looks. Funny thing is I have seen this hooded sweater on Amazon and liked the looks of it. I am glad you said to size up though because I would’ve probably ordered the XL thinking I WAS sizing up because I usually wear a Large so if you were wearing XL, I need to go another size up since you’re a little smaller than I am. Have a good weekend. This is my and Clarence’s anniversary weekend I my long weekend off from work so YAY ME!!

      Hey Jami!! You are dead on about Amazon. I have found if I can get it in 2 days, it’s going to be a pretty good fit. They have been sending me stats and ideas from the Influencer Dept, and that has helped tremendously!! Thank you for the prayers!! Much appreciated ❤️

      I love that sweater!! It’s screaming my name 😂😂Thank you for the prayers and I’m slowly bringing a few fall pieces into my decor. That bedroom ( once was my office) is now for Brooklyn or my mom to stay in. Raegan and Barry sucked up the other rooms. We just finished painting in our bedroom, and I have to get my wall decor back up. I’m such a slacker 😂

      Thank you Nancy!! When you hear MRI, it can be a little scary. I will say they did tell me all the issues I’m having could be flare ups from the mono I had last year, since I had such high levels before they caught it. ( thanks Covid, lol) if that’s the case…I will take it !! Thank you for the prayers!!

    Good Afternoon Beverly! So let me tell about how I avoid the clothes section every time I go into Walmart to keep from purchasing every item you style from there. Lol.. Well almost every time 😉 It sure is a Praise to hear that you don’t have any tumors. Will continue praying. OMGoodness that pumpkin spice sweater outfit? YESSS!! anything that has coffee or says coffee I just have to have! Yup I’m a CoffeeAddict haha. Have a wonderful FRI-YAY ♥️
