I am having a ball with little Brooklyn so far! She is a ball of energy, let me tell ya! She was so excited when I picked her up from daycare today (it made my day and I was grinning from ear to ear-LOL). When I was on my way to pick her up, her PAPA was on the way to Walmart to get her “favorite goodies”, that’s what Barry said anyway. We might spoil her a tad?? HAHA! I wanted to style a bright Springy weekend outfit that can be worn now and through the transitional season for some of you. I know a few of you are still in colder weather so this may work with a light jacket or a cute cardigan. I chose this super cute Calvin Klein Boat Neck Top in Watermelon to wear. This top is so cute and flattering on! The neckline has buttons on the shoulders that make it stand out. I got a few pics below to show the detail. It comes in 6 more colors that are bright and neutral and it’s $39.50. It is 95% cotton and 5% spandex, so it has some stretch in it that is flattering for any figure. Get the top HERE. I am wearing a Medium and it Fits TTS, it hits right at the hips, so you can tuck it in or wear it out. The sleeves are called half sleeves and I especially love this feature because it’s nice to have a top that covers our arms every now and then. Ads I’m getting older, I am not particularly fond of my arms – but I am working on that! I wish I could transition from “me” to an older, gray-headed chubby grandma with a beehive LOL!! That’s how I remember my grandma and boy did I love hugging up on her. When I saw her get her hair done, honestly I sat in the chair at the salon and was amazed someone could take that little amount of hair and make it so tall. HA! I don’t see grandmas like that any more. I tried some new jeans from American Eagle and I am really loving these. These are the AE Ne(X)t Level Curvy High Waisted Jegging. I am not curvy in the least, so I don’t know why they have curvy in the name, but they fit amazing! These jeans are in Fresh Bright color and have Lycra Dual FX Technology, these won’t bag out on you! They are super soft on the inside and outside and the stretch technology helps it fit your waist better also. These are cute if you want to wear them with the hem straight down or you can cuff them or roll them to get a cropped look. This cute little bracelet is not what I was expecting when I ordered it. It is so much more!!!!! It is the Pheonix Rose Gold Adjustable Bracelet, it adjusts or tightens by the round clasp. Squeeze the little ball and you can tighten or loosen it by sliding it up and down the chains. It was very easy to put on and I liked that because some bracelets take 2 people to get it clasped! Email me at beverlyh@bandbblog.com for more information. I recently got these Ugg Pinkett Fashion Sneaker and I wasn’t really liking them when I first pulled them out of the box. After a couple of days, I went back to them and tried them on and to my surprise, they wear really great! I like the perforated toes and sides for the summer, I don’t wear socks much in the summer and a little air going through the shoes can be a lifesaver! I like to slide my foot in a shoe and go, I know that’s not what I should be doing – but it’s what I do LOL! Do any of you go sockless with some of your sneakers? I liked the tan piping around these shoes and the little detail at the heel. I tried to get a good picture of it for you. These are not your everyday white sneakers, these are some really cute sneakers that you can wear with shorts, dresses, cropped jeans and more. These are Uggs, so they are a little more costly, but with the insoles being so comfortable they are worth it. They are $120.00 and I got them from Amazon – these were the cheapest I could find. I wear Ugg boots a lot in the winter to keep my feet warm, I have bedroom shoes from Ugg and LOVE them, so I thought why not try the sneakers?! They didn’t disappoint! Get the Uggs HERE. As you can see our house is VERY lived in at the moment. I told Barry today, ” I want you to look around – and this- my dear, is why I need to be home 100%.” HAHA! That didn’t go over as well as I had hoped LOL! I’ve actually got to work today at an event at Campbell University, have any of you heard of that? That’s the university my husband went to law school at, years and years and years ago LOL! Anyway, I’m out the door to gather things up at the Boutique.
