Happy Thursday!! I’m not sure what was going on with me this week, but boy am I feeling better today! I actually got out for the first time yesterday, do you ladies hibernate inside when you are sick? I can remember when I would have to be nearly dead to stay inside with a cold. Now, I’m like, “Oh my…I can’t get anyone sick!” Wish Raegan had of thought that! Come to find out she was using my inhaler while she was sick. Well…she certainly spread those germs with love! KIDS!!!! (smile) We love ’em…but LORD! I stopped by my local Cato a few weeks back and picked up a few pieces that I could use to transition into Spring and I am styling a cute utility jacket today. It’s really cold here right now in North Carolina, so going outside taking pictures looking “Springy” just ain’t in the cards for this ole gal. Today I decided to go with this cute Linen Utility Jacket from Cato. The color is Walnut and it cinches at the waist and has the option to roll your sleeves up or leave them down. This is a thin jacket, almost like a heavier button-down shirt and it snaps down the front. I would have purchased a Large since I’m a little broad-shouldered, but they only had a Small and XL, so I opted for the XL. I didn’t try it on, but I figured it would be roomy enough for me to wear with any type of shirt or thin sweater underneath. It fits TTS and I could have worn a Large easily. Since you can cinch the waist to make it smaller, I did that to give me a better fit through the mid-section. It’s only $29.99 and you can get it HERE. I’m not going to lie, ladies, finding anything that was comparable was really hard. Everything is running from $59 to over $300, so I’m feeling like I got this one at a bargain price! The jeans I am wearing are from JustFab called the Button Front Vintage Slim Cuff Jeans in Aqua Frisa. These are on sale now for ONLY $15.98, they are 60% OFF girls! They fit true to size and the length comes right above my ankle, I’m 5’7″. They cuff is sewn in and it has a ragged hemline to it. These are perfect for Spring and Summer, they aren’t really thick jeans, and they have “give” in them. Get the Cuff Jean HERE. Also, the button up feature looks really cute with the half-tucked shirts or sweaters. I love to layer my jackets with a comfy t-shirt and I found the perfect one from Amazon. It came with my Amazon Prime Wardrobe Box and trust me, as soon as I tried them on I knew they were keepers! These are called the Daily Ritual Women’s Midweight 100% Supima Cotton Rib Knit Short-Sleeve V-Neck T-Shirt, 2-Pack. These come in a variety of colors, stripes, and solids. The best thing about this t-shirt is not only it wears GREAT – you get 2 t-shirts for only $20!! Ten dollars a tee…heck yeah- HIGH FIVE GURLS! Get the T-shirt HERE and see the multiple colors. I broke out my loafers from Sole Society to finish off the outfit, these are called the Jessica. I have worn these so much since I got them, they are comfortable and look great with jeans and very pretty with white pants. These would look great incorporated into your workwear also. They come in leopard print, bisque and dusted plum, they are very popular and cost around $89.95. I did use the AfterPay option when I purchased these. They will split your payments up to 4-6 weeks into payments. Although the same amount is coming out of my account, it doesn’t hurt as much when it’s small amounts, HA HA!!! Get the Loafers HERE. I found some very similar to these from JCPenney by A.N.A for only $18.99. Get those HERE. I do not know how these wear, so I can’t give you a review, but they seem to be very popular.
