Hope everyone is doing wonderful, this post is going to be a little quick and here’s why… Wow, what a busy day I had yesterday! All plans went South instantly! I woke up to my phone ringing and found out my mother had fallen and hurt her shoulder. Off I went to get her and in the ER we sat for half of a day, thankfully she did not break anything. She did tear her rotator cuff so there were errands to run for her so she could be at home and have everything she needed. We stayed busy with her most of the day, but thankfully I had a few outfits I posted on Pinterest to share with you girls today. I have shown a few sherpa jackets in a few try-ons and loved them, but I wanted to share the Teddy Bear Jacket in taupe that I actually have. I found this one at Forever 21 and fell in love. It does run a little large, but it’s supposed to be an oversized jacket. If you want it to fit snuggly, size down. This comes in a pretty light lavender also and right now it’s 31% off! See it here. If you like the cognac color, I found a really nice one here. I paired it with Rockstar jeans and my favorite taupe booties from DSW. The fedora hat comes in several colors and very affordable. Plus hats are trending now and they make a nice accessory to put a little ump in your outfit. I am also carrying a Transport Bag that I carry my MacBook in and all my necessities. So I decided to link all that I could find it the carousel below if you wanted to browse. All these items are from Amazon. The candlesticks that are white on the table were bronze in color, but I painted them with this whitewash paint then wiped it off in some areas to give it some “wear and tear”. Casual Winter/ Holiday Outfit I love wearing black and red during the holidays and wasted no time in breaking these new jeans in from Old Navy. Girls, if I don’t like an item I will tell you and if I love an item I’m going to tell you too! These Sateen Rockstar jeans feel so good on, they are super stretchy and a perfect pant for Christmas. I am wearing a Time and Tru black turtleneck and styled it with a long black cardigan/duster to dress it up a little. **Pair these red jeans with a striped shirt and a chambray buttondown with sneakers for a cute casual look. Add a black or mustard vest for a little more zing! When we went out to eat I was wearing my Sam Edelman Kinzey boots, these are super hard to find and I was surprised these are still on Amazon. These have a heel that is 1-1/2 inch and these come in multiple colors. Mine are the black suede and I love them! A perfect black bootie to style with jeans or slacks, especially to wer to work! Outfit Details // Cardigan // Turtleneck Sweater // Red Jeans // Fur Mules // Black Sam Edelman Booties I know some of you are not a fan of the fur mules, but I absolutely love these shoes! They are super cute with jeans and a lot of girls are wearing these with the faux leather leggings and a denim jacket. They are TTS, they fit a little snug when you first try them on, but the more you wear them during the day they fit normal. If you are looking for a shoe that will keep your feet warm around the house – these are awesome! I use these for slippers a lot since I am in and out of the house with the dogs so much. Today on the blog I am sharing some great items to add to your Fall wardrobe and they are ALL on SALE! These tops and sweaters are all styled with one pair of jeans and booties, but could easily work with your workwear wardrobe. Hold on, we are going to have outfit ideas from cozy cuddling on the couch to things that can transition into the workplace and more! I stopped in Belk to pick up some new boots and shoes (huge sale going on here) and as I was messing with my purse when I first walked in the store. When a man walked up to me, as I looked up it was my brother (lol) and he actually recognized me this time HA! For those of you that are new followers, he and I passed each other in Lowes and didn’t notice the other one. Well…he thought it was me, but never said anything (he only saw me from an angle), we finally caught each other’s eye as we were going out. One would think that we aren’t that close, but we are very close and we favor a lot! Like twin favor! Doorbusters are going on again this week and you can see them all here. This was my outfit for the day and I love the jacket so much I decided to snap a picture. The jacket and beige leopard top are from Target and the leopard tunic top is on sale for a $13.99 here. I like this jacket because it’s lightweight, but the way it falls is simply gorgeous. You can tighten the strings around the wiast to define your shape more also. Belk Deals & Try-On’s I loved this cardigan by New Directions, it comes in 2 colors and I am wearing a medium. It’s very warm and cozy, kind of fuzzy a little, so if you don’t like a little fuzzy going on, this won’t work for you. I’m styling the Brown Multi-color. I liked the little hint of fuzzy, made me feel girlie LOL! **You can also click on the picture to see the showcased item online I loved this blazer cardigan, you girls know I am crushing on rust right now! The rust color is not online, but a gorgeous gray is, you can see it here. All these items will be in the Shop The Post below also. I love a jacket and this faux suede jacket feels sooooo soft! I love this tobacco brown and it is also offered in black. Great colors for Fall! It’s also a perfect jacket to wear inside for work, school, church, etc. Who doesn’t love a blouse that covers the rear? This is a hi-lo top and it does run TTS. I accidentally picked up a Large, so this one is too big on me. This comes in a Mustard and Green stripe also. See it here. I picked this wrap sweater up because it’s got a sexy look to it! It wraps in the front and you can wear this off the shoulder also. Super soft, but it does cling to you, be aware…if you have anything to hide, you will want to wear some type of undergarments to give you a smooth look. See it here. I love a good chunky sweater and love it even better if it’s a turtleneck. This color, the fit, the feel, everything about it screamed TAKE ME HOME! It comes in multiple colors, see it here. I sized up to a Large so I would get a big, fluffy, comfy look, so if you want it to fit normal then I would get my regular size. See it here. It’s only $19.99 – it’s a steal at twice the price! AS you all know — I love a vest, it really is an easy way to make an outfit pop – especially with a scarf! I couldn’t post and not throw one in LOL! Plus this one is on sale for only $19.99 and it’s a quality made vest, plus it has leopard print lining! The 3/4 length tees come in a variety of colors, see them here. I loved the way this top looked on the hanger, not so much on me! I showed this in black with leopard print here, and it has been a blog favorite for weeks! You can see the leopard top here, but honestly – the black top looked so much better on me than the leopard print blouse. See the black top here. I like to have a few thin sweaters for layering and this V-neck is super comfy for only $19.99. This comes in 3 other colors also. Who else likes a thin sweater? I loved them when I was in the workforce because at my old office it would either be freezing cold or steaming hot! Anyone else work in a place like that? Layering is the only way to go! October really screams Fall to me, but we are having 90-degree weather here right now…UGG! I have procrastinated with my Fall Decor, but on the bright side, I have found a lot of decor things in the attic I forgot I had! Girls, cleaning an attic out is no joke – for those that are local there will be a yard sale coming! I stopped by Belk since they were having a huge sale and a lot of Doorbusters. I’m not missing the doorbusters because honestly, they are just too good to pass up! I am sharing a few of the doorbusters today. They also have their clearance on sale up to 80% off. It’s worth the browsing – check that out here. I wanted to focus on items that can be layered or layering pieces. To see all the Doorbuster Sales click here. First up is this super cute New Directions black and leopard detail sweater. This is a GREAT piece! Not only is it too cute, but this would also look great with a denim jacket or a piece that can be worn to work or church. See it here. It’s a one-piece, so when you’re looking a quick outfit – this is perfect! The olive dolman sweater has gone crazy on Instagram, so this was definitely going in this post. You can follow along on IG HERE. I sized up to give me a more loose, slouchy look. The sleeve detail makes this sweater, the buttons down the side is super cute in my opinion. Wouldn’t this look great with black, khaki, or white pants? See the sweater here. If you are looking a cozy lightweight sweatshirt or hoodie, this may be what you are looking for. The moment I started trying it on…my mind said…This is going home with me! YES…that’s how soft the inside was and it’s perfect for cold weather when you want to cozy up on the couch! This is made to be slouchy and I am wearing a Medium which is my normal size. See it here. I am a sucker for a vest or cardigan, it is the easiest way to add a bit of flair with a casual look. It’s a great layering piece and I think it makes the outfit, I have shown a picture with the vest and without the vest – you choose which way stands out the most. Bet you pick the vest pic?? LOL!!! Let me know which way you like it better. This is a Crown & Ivy vest and comes in multiple colors. See it here. Check out the picture below, this sweater has a very cute back detail! We all look for a “go-to” jacket and this Faux Suede Coat is one to think about. It’s very lightweight and is a great piece to add to your fall wardrobe. There are multiple colors, but this olive was very low in stock. There is a gray, black and taupe color as well that would work great for Fall and Winter. See this lightweight coat here. I couldn’t post a try-on with an adorable cranberry drape cardigan (it says red online), but it’s a burgundy or cranberry color in person. When I tried it on with my own outfit I knew I was going to take it home. It really pops with the leopard tank doesn’t it? See the cardigan here. This is a perfect length, it hits right at your knees – perfect for jeans and dresses! If you notice my jeans, these are Lee Riders Cropped jeans. I have worn them on and off on the blog, but I wanted to show how you can still wear these during the Fall. What are your thoughts on these jeans with the booties? I loved this Twist Front Crepe Blouse, it has a bubble hem in front and buttons to keep your blouse closed. I liked the collar also, every now and then you want a collar peeking out from your blazer or cardigan! I grabbed up a pair of gray New Directions pull on dress pants, but they were way too big. I have linked them in the Shop The Post below, but I think seeing baggy pants on me would only give you a giggle. I should have posted huh??? LOL!!!
