Winter’s Trendiest Print Styled 4 Ways

Today I am sharing the most popular print of the winter season, the buffalo check print. I’m styling it four different ways and I am sharing the perfect shacket in red buffalo plaid. Over the past few years the buffalo print has zoomed to the most purchased print in fashion and home decor. If you are love the farmhouse decor, then you are definitely not a stranger, and honestly at this point, I don’t think any of us are. If you are like me, you may have several pieces that are black plaid, or even multiple pieces in buffalo check – that’s ok…we all have our weaknesses, lol! This uber comfy plaid flannel Time and Tru #fashionfind needs to be at the top of your list today! With a price of $11, you can’t go wrong! I do recommend washing this on gentle and hanging it to dry then fluffing it up for a minute in the dryer. It keeps its shape and stays looking new! This comes in 16 different colors and patterns, so don’t hold back…it’s $11! LOL! Seriously, I have worn this flannel more times than I can count already this year! It fits TTS, and I am wearing a large for reference, see it here. My jeans are my favorite gray jeans of all time, even Raegan bought a pair because she loved the look so much. These are very flattering on any body shape, come in sizes 00-18 and in lengths, petite and long. I am wearing a 10 regular in these in this picture, but I also have a size 8 that are much more fitted for date nights, etc. These have a raw hem with a distressed knee, perfect for dressing up for a sassy night out! This vest of mine has been worn slam out over the years and it’s still looking great! A lightweight vest is a closet must-have, a staple piece that will be worn over and over throughout the years and can easily pull together nearly any outfit. This vest fits TTS, I am wearing a large for reference and comes in more color options. See the vest here. You will see me wear this vest on repeat through the winter months, it’s so easy to grab and go and not feel too bundled up! Do you have a bomber jacket? It’s a great lightweight jacket to have that styles well with so many outfits, and is an easy way to elevate your outfit. Mine is from last year and not available, so I found this one that is very similar, plus it comes in multiple colors if olive is not your first choice. I love the olive bomber jacket with white jeans or chinos!, the color combo really pops and is gorgeous together! See the similar bomber jacket here. The buffalo check print styles so pretty underneath sweaters and sweatshirts, so I decided to style it with this snowflake sweater I found at Talbots. The sweater fits TTS and I am wearing a large for reference. See the sweater here. Doesn’t the buffalo plaid make the red pop? Which look do you like best? I think I’m loving all of them! Let’s not leave out the ever-so popular red buffalo check! I found this shacket at Walmart and it’s one of my favorites so far this year. This is a relaxed fit with plenty of room to layer up for winter, and it comes in three more prints. Check out the coffee cake plaid, I love it! My jeans cannot be seen, but I want to shout them out. I found these jeans at Pink Lily and they have the best stretch in them! They wear as comfortable as joggers…no lie! Different Looks With Rust & Neutrals

Good Saturday morning! Raegan and I have been out and about browsing to see what is new in the stores and I am seeing rust everywhere. I’m a minimalist in many ways, but color makes me happy, so for me, it’s all about finding a balance. Every once in a while I like to experiment with different tones, making or buying some pieces to add to my wardrobe. This season I’m all about variations of terracotta or more commonly known as “rust” for us ladies over 40! There are many variations of the “orange” color, but it can be fun dipping your toe into a milder variation to wind down your summer and take you into fall. In the summer, I like to pair the color with white or khaki and in the fall they look great with grays and blacks. A lighter denim is a color you can pair it with at any time of the year. At first glance, orange and terracotta might seem hard to wear. But trust me they’re not! These colors can easily be worked into your wardrobe and if you have a little bit of a summer glow – this color will look gorgeous on you! The Outfits: Neutrals & Rust The first outfit, I found at Target while out running errands with Raegan. This gorgeous flutter sleeve blouse has a cute v-neck neckline and is flowier through the waist. I would size down in this top, I bought my regular size and wish I had sized down. The black slim ankle pants are made to fit very and I mean VERY snuggly, so I sized up in these pants for a fitted (not skin tight) look. Outfit Details: // Blouse // Ankle Pants // Gladiator Sandals (similar) // Necklace Combo This has to be my favorite outfit of the week! These joggers are the joggers featured in the Old Navy Try-On Haul (read it here). I am obsessed with this outfit, especially with the Madewell racerback tank. Joggers and tanks fit TTS. I am wearing a medium in both for reference. Outfit Details: // Tank // Joggers // (That’s Princess Ziva, the Goldendoodle chilling with me ;)) I’ve been trying to get out of the house and walk at least 5 times a week so I needed a few muscle shirts or tanks to wear with my shorts or leggings. I found this cute workout tank at Target and layered it with my black racerback tank for an “everyday” look around the house. Tank Fits TTS, I am wearing a medium in this tank for reference. Outfit Details: // Rust Tank // Black Tank // Shorts (similar) // Adidas Sneakers // I had been running around the grocery store with this outfit and decided to snap a quick pic when I got home (excuse the wrinkles lol) because I wanted to show this handbag! OH MY GAH! I LOVE this bag girls! I got this from JustFab for around $20 and it was a steal! Outfit Details: // Shirt // 6-inch Shorts // Handbag // Steve Madden Glitter Sandals // Remember that linen-blend tank from Walmart that is around $9? it’s one of the most versatile pieces that I own for the summer and it is super cute with these Levi’s Boyfriend Jeans. It’s a perfect casual outfit for summer and cute for later. Pair this with a leather Moto jacket and booties for a cute fall look. Modern Farmhouse Finds For The Home

Like most of us, I have been shopping online since I cannot get inside of stores right now and boy have I gone crazy with home decor. If you’ve been following for some time, then you already know Barry and I can debate for months (if not years) what updates we would like to do to our home. Instead of talking it over with Barry, I decided to start buying what I wanted and lining up contractors for the odds and ends jobs that needed to be taken care of. Needless to say…I got carried away with new home decor! As the empty boxes started piling up under our garage, Barry never said a word, it was eerily weird for me not getting some type of sarcastic remark or reaction from him. I guess he has given up trying to keep me on a budget HAHA! Today I am sharing all the great finds I have found from Amazon, Target, Wayfair, and more. I decided to go with a modern farmhouse look throughout the house and I am eager to share my finds with you girls! I found these rustic Barnyard window frames and decided I would add 15-inch Boxwood Wreaths to give it the modern farmhouse look I am working towards. I hung these on the wall where my fireplace is and I love the way they frame it. It is a much-needed addition to my living area, once I get my walls painted a pretty white/gray, everything will have a fresh look and appear much brighter. See the frames here and the boxwood wreaths here. These 15-inch Boxwood Wreaths are perfect for inside or outside. Do you like the boxwood wreath look? I’m tieing mine with Burlap Twine, but you could use Burlap Ribbon if you wanted to for a look similar to the one below. I love the way the green pops with all the white-washed decor. With new wall decor, I obviously needed some greenery to add to reach the modern farmhouse look I was going for. I found the cutest small potted rosemary greenery and it did not disappoint. You never can tell what you will get when ordering online, but I am VERY pleased with this purchase. It’s not too big and not too small, it’s perfect for a bathroom, decor for shelves, kitchen, or on an accent table like I am using it. See it here. I also found this 3 pack of assorted greenery! (See one of the 3 below) Can one have too much greenery strategically placed around their home? Hmmm… I also added this Harpenden Two Door Accent Table in the whitewash look. This comes put together except for screwing on the legs, so that made the purchase that much better! I am very pleased with this piece and know I will get a lot of use out of it, not to mention, I can move this to other rooms when I am wanting to change things up. See the table here. These are darling in person and they have USB chargers which is a double win for us – especially charging our phones or my Apple Watch at night. See them here. Aren’t they so cute? While I have been giving my home a fresh look, I decided to change out comforters and found this super comfortable Stone Cottage Asher Comforter in gray. This fits my bed perfectly with the right amount of comforter left on both sides of my bed, so buy your bed size – it will fit! See it here. This has been insanely popular on the Liketoknow.it app! I added this Chanasya Shaggy Faux Fur Throw Blanket to throw across my bed. This one is so cozy, Raegan has already tried to steal it away…to no avail though! You will want to save this one for yourself if you have kids. See it here. I also added a rope basket to sit beside this Rosella Fabric Small Ottoman. I moved my mirror into my bedroom, so when I am doing try-ons you will more than likely see these items in the background. The last thing that I added over the past few weeks was the cutest shiplap sign over my bed. This Kindred Hearts 40×10 Sweet Dreams Shiplap Wall Sign is a great buy ladies.
