I wanted to show how I have been wearing them differently with a jacket I am really loving, plus by adding a few accessories. We all want to get more outfits out of our clothing, and a few staple pieces and the right accessory can transform an ordinary outfit into one that truly stands out. I found this off-the-shoulder sweater at Cato Fashions and loved the color for a Valentine’s Day option. The color is brandied apricot and it is gorgeous in person! I loved this sweater so much, I almost wore it two days in a row, HAHA! You can wear it off the shoulder or on the shoulder like I am wearing it. I cannot express how much I love this color and the style! I highly recommend it…its hands down one that will be worn on repeat! See the sweater here; it fits TTS (I am wearing a large for reference). I picked up this faux suede moto jacket and decided to pair it with the sweater and I really loved the look. The jacket is from Cato Fashions as well and is super soft with a very flattering front drape. I love these types of jackets to throw on and go, plus it’s a great option to wear to work instead of a blazer or cardigan. It fits TTS (I’m wearing a large); see it here. I found this gorgeous chocolate cut-out turtleneck sweater by The Drop on Amazon and it is a definite keeper! The sweater fits semi-relaxed and comes in multiple colors. I love the chocolate color and decided to style it with gray jeans, however, this looks gorgeous with white jeans, denim, and khaki chinos. See the sweater here. Style Tip: I wore a racerback bra with this and it worked great! I added the faux suede jacket and a pashmina scarf from Amazon to take the outfit up a notch. I like to revamp my winter wardrobe when all the sales drop, so today I am sharing some of the pieces I have recently purchased and are some of my most loved. I have been on the lookout for more outfits to wear to church and to have more pieces to wear for holiday get-togethers. Let me know what you think about my latest finds! Stop right here…this outfit! O.M.G! This outfit came together as I was walking through my local Cato Fashions and I was so happy that everything matched so well and I was able to create this look! This faux suede trench coat is so soft and lightweight, it’s a perfect to layer and wear it as a duster for more versatility. It has a belt (I tied it in the back), pockets, and it’s machine washable. It fits TTS (wearing a large for reference), see it here. I styled it with a mock neck lightweight sweater in the same color, see it here (I am also wearing a large in the sweater) and a navy plaid pull-on pencil skirt that has the light pinkish-mauve color in it and matches perfectly. The skirt fits TTS, wearing a medium for referrence, it has a knit feel to it and has good stretch in it. See the skirt here. I love to purchase matching pieces because I can split them up and wear them multiple ways for more outfits; so I’m stretching my dollar further, which my budget loves! I stumbled upon this set this week and instantly wanted to bring it home. Since I don’t work outside the home anymore, I like to make sure I have plenty of options for church, dinner out with my family, or if I need a nicer outfit for an occasion that may arise. These pants are simply awesome! They are a pull-on style, with a slightly wider front waistband (elastic in the back) that flattens the tummy, plus they have pockets! I found this Cassia Sherpa Bomber jacket at Banana Republic Factory and couldn’t wait to wear it. As you know, I do have a jacket/coat obsession, and it’s becoming a serious problem, lol. This jacket is lined, the color I’m wearing is beechwood, and it does have a slight mauvey-pink tone to it in person. This is a well-made, quality jacket that is lightweight but also thick enough to give you warmth when needed. In today’s post, I’m sharing casual everyday fall outfits that fit your budget, will keep you looking stylish, and outfits that are comfy-cozy (which are my fave, lol). Most of the items I am sharing today are by Time and Tru, one of Walmart’s most well-known brands. Other brands that I have been loving are Scoop, Free Assembly, Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara, Celebrity Pink, and No Boundaries. Stop what you’re doing and go ahead and put this Time and Tru plaid button-down in your cart, because if you miss out on this one…you are going to regret it! I’m feeling my “passion for fashion” rolling in! LOL! I’m already obsessed with this shirt and have worn it more times than I wish to disclose in the past few weeks. The sleeves can be rolled up with a button tab to make it a 3/4 length sleeve if preferred. The collar is perfectly made to give a chic, tailored look that I immediately fell in love with. If you are a sweater girl…do not miss out on this cutie! This is a Time and Tru Ribbed Mock Neck sweater that is sooo soft and the color block style really brings attention to the outfit. It’s an eye-catcher and I love a piece that can be worn casual or dressy, and this one is most definitely a piece you can wear from desk to dinner. The neck can be turned down, the material is lighter weight, it’s very breathable, and it comes in solids and more color block options. These are some of my favorites and I love the stretch and ease to move in these throughout the day running errands.
