For me, I always have the hardest time buying for the guys in my family, so I teamed up with my two brothers and they offered up a few suggestions form the Walmart Deals on some “approved gifts”. They are a few years older than me, so hopefully this may give you a little inspiration for your brothers, husbands or guy friends. Of course, I love them all! I love a refresh season for my home and wardrobe and when the big deals come around, I’m all in so I am ready for January when I start my reorganization for the home. Electronics or tech gifts are always big on everyone’s list, and I found quite a few items that were great buys. My brother’s both loved the Dash Cam for $29 (Full HD 1080) below in the graphic, which I thought was a great idea. When I traveled working outside of the home, this was one of the first things I purchased so I would have a record of my driving. My cousin was in a wreck years ago and was hit from the side on the interstate and the guy behind her had a dash cam which saved her from getting the ticket, so that inspired me to keep one in my car. Brooklyn had two picks that she loved and put in her letter to Santa, so these were BIG items for her (she’s 8 years old btw). I recently purchased 5 different body lotions that I am currently trying out for a beauty post and the Hempz Original Body Moisturizer is phenomenal! I have been shocked at how much I like this lotion, side note…I have never used the Hempz Moisturizer before. The smell is so wonderful, my skin stays more hydrated and at 53 years old, I’ve already seen a change in my skin from softnes to all day hydration. See the lotion here. *It has over 128K reviews! Here I am styling a super cute window pane cardigan by Time and Tru from Walmart, which was only one of the many items that I found on this trip! I love this outfit! Like…seriously loving it! I styled this Time and Tru cardigan with the cutest Slim Ankle Pants also by Time and Tru. These pants are perfect for workwear or style them with s sweater and sneakers for a weekend outfit. These pants come in more colors and fits tts (they have stretch in them too). I cannot stress how much I love these slim pants! They are that good!! My crossbody comes in more colors too!!ย See the cardigan here (wearing a medium), and the slim pants here (wearing mocha splash in size 10). This outfit was one I wore this weekend and I got so many compliments, I just had to share. I am wearing the Time and Tru tee shirt dress (short-sleeve) underneath (wearing regular size), I added the Time and Tru (Most Popular) sweater over the dress and added the Puffer Vest for a dressier look, but still casual. My boots are the Time and Tru slouchy boots and they come in more color options as do the other items featured in this outfit. All items are linked below. Now that the holidays are here, we love to cook and bake nonstop; it has become family tradition and Brooklyn enjoys it so much. I have had an old vacuum forever and decided to get the Hoover MAXLife PowerDrive Swivel XL Bagless Vacuum with HEPA Media Filtration…sounds fancy huh? Since I was in need of a new vacuum, this one seemed to have everything I was looking for, and boy did it deliver! First off – I had just vacuumed my area carpets two days earlier and look what that vacuum sucked up. Shocked was not the word…Ewww, was more like it! More Deals For The Home I converted part of my garage into a mini home gym this summer and wanted a tv so I could use my fitness apps. Instead of buying a new tv, I bought the Roku Streaming Stick 4H and it turned an old tv into a new smart tv! This is the easiest setup ever and it comes with a remote. These are in today’s sale and I highly recommend grabbing a few while they are half price (only $24)! See the Roku Stick here. If you already have a Roku TV, once you put the stick in…it will be the same. Another must-have is the JBL Flip 4 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth speaker. This little baby is a must-have for anyone who loves music, listens to podcasts, audio books, etc. The battery life is fabulous, the sound has the ability to rock your neighborhood, or a nice low volume for background music while you are cleaning, or taking in a little nature. I take this with me to the beach, we used it daily at the pool, and it goes with us on golf cart rides, nog to mention if we travel- it is always going with us. I am sharing comfy cozy winter casual outfits, workwear, and the cutest little black dress that I have fell in love with. It’s starting to get chilly here and I have all the cozy winter feels going on, plus these item are so affordable! So while you are shopping for your family and friends, spoil yourself a little too…don’t we all do that at Christmas? LOL! I shared this Time and Tru pullover in a gift guide last week, and I had to grab this one for myself. This feels like you are wrapping yourself up in your favorite cozy throw. This fits TTS, I am wearing a large and have plenty of room for layering on colder days. It also comes in more color options and the print is so eye-catching! See the pullover here. I am styling the sherpa with the Avia Joggers/leggings that fit perfectly! These are kinda like leggings, but they have pockets and a cuff like joggers do. These have great stretch to them and are easy to move in. I will be wearing these around the house, running errands, and I know they will be worn at the first of the new year when I hit those New Year’s Resolutions…keep moving and get back to a healthier lifestyle! This quilted pullover caught my eye a few times online and I decided to bring it home! This pullover has pockets, a hoodie and will look so cute with this buffalo check shirt I styled a few weeks ago. Wear it with jeans or leggings for a casual outfit while you are wrapping all those presents, lol! I am wearing a large in this, but I could have bought a medium. I have lost a little weight, so I would suggest buying your regular Walmart size. This comes in more colors, you can see all of them here. I wanted to show different ways I have worn this pullover, and one of my favorite looks was with the Sofia jeans that have slight distressing at the hem. Add your favorite boot socks, or style it like I did with the Time and Tru brown boots with those cute red shoestrings. I love the length to wear with booties, tall boots, or heels for work, date night, or to church. This Free Assembly dress fits TTS, I am wearing a medium for reference, and it does have some stretch in it. if you like a darker color, check out the black and navy in this dress…they would be gorgeous with a few accessories, scarf, or a handbag that pops! I have never tried the Jason Maxwell line, but I loved the look of this coat and I can tell you that it has totally passed my “must-keep” standards! This coat comes in black, red buffalo check and a gorgeous blue buffalo check, it is long enough for all your dresses, but it would also look cute with jeans, sneakers, and a sweater! It’s under $28 and is a STEAL! See the faux wool duster here. **I am wearing a large in this (I always buy a large in coats) because I will be layering with sweaters and hoodies over the winter and I have to have that extra room! If you have been wanting a pair of boots that have a higher shaft to wear with skirts or cropped pants, these Scoop boots are phenomenal! I found this cute Time and tru cozy sweater and decided to share it and style it with the Sofia Jeans (wearing a size 10 in the jeans) and those cute Scoop boots! This sweater hits right at the hips and absolutely stand out! it’s a relaxed fit through the chest and body and could be layered with a cami underneath for more warmth as it gets colder. I am wearing a large in this for reference. This comes in three more color options and is only $22! See the sweater here. **The Sophia Jeans come in multiple denim colors and have a lot of stretch in them. They are very comfortable and do not sag in the booty like some jeans do. OK, this is my FAVORITE Walmart find! I absolutely am obsessed with this dress by Scoop and when Barry saw me in this I thought he was having a heart attack…HA! For someone with pneumonia, that ole boy certainly perked up! I just checked on this dress and the sizes are getting limited, so don’t waste time on this one! It is a silky material with a ruffle mock neck, gorgeous ruffle sleeves, and the smocked waist totally makes this dress! I love it! See the dress here. Fit Tip: This dress fits TTS, I am wearing a large in this dress, I thought I bought a medium, but the large fits fine and the added length of a large was a good buy for me at 5’7″. This is one of the most flattering dresses that I have ever worn! Hands down! The smocked waist gives a booty that I did not have…ha! The length is not too short, it hits about 2-inches above my knee and is a great dress that I will be able to wear throughout the year. I rarely show what the side or back looks like, but this one was a must show! Isn’t is a cute style! We are less than 3 weeks aways from the holidays and I am trying to get ready..are you? Walmart Deals are still going strong so we are about to “Holiday Our Heart Out”! Today I am sharing my latest purchases, plus I have added Gift Guides from the little ones, to the “hard to buy for” ones! From toys, beauty (including luxe beauty), tech, fashion for the entire family – and don’t forget all the goodies and food for all your get-togethers. Or stock up on baking supplies for those Christmas cookies made with love! Making Christmas cookies is a family tradition, we even have a competition to see who decorated theirs the best. We also started back making Gingerbread Houses last year, so we are going to be busy! Once all my picks for Barry and the kids were picked out ( I do have stocking stuffers left), all I had to do was wait till their most-wished items were delivered. What did I forget??? Cause I definitely have a “what now” look on my face! I forgot wrapping paper, tape, bows, boxes, and all the fluff to wrap these presents. Brooklyn has been asking for the Peek-A-Roo Interactive Panda toy and of course I gave in and got it. Although she loves Barbie’s, and baby dolls, she has a side to her that says…Imma bought to get you with a Nerf gun, HA! We have long loved the Nerf Toy Family and I’m pretty sure not one Christmas has gone by that a Nerf toy was not under our tree. This year…it’s going to be a Nerf Family Fun day and if you listen closely on Christmas Day…you may hear her giggles and laughter! Younger adults love the Smart Home options, no man wouldn’t love a new TV, but the security system with video cameras blew me away this year!
