Today it’s all about sales, links to items that I am loving, Amazon Tees and blouses try-on haul, and the cutest neutral outfit that has moved its way up to the front of the rotation list. This is a fall outfit, but you can ditch the jacket and wear it now or even style it with a cardigan for casual workwear. It’s all about the beige tones, a classic color that can easily be styled with different earth tones that will level up an outfit super easy!

My jacket is from Nordstrom and one of the softest moto-jackets I have worn. This jacket s by BLANKNYC and I am wearing the Sand Dune color. This is a jacket that I know I am going to get a lot of wear out of, and although it is around $80, I know it will last because it is a quality piece. This fits TTS and I am wearing a large for reference. The pictures online DO NOT do it justice, it is so much cuter in person. A taupe jacket is a must-have for fall and winter, because you can style it with nearly anything- from jeans to dresses, it’s an item you will grab often. See the jacket here.

Since we are talking about phones, let me share a new Amazon Find. We ride our bikes on occasion and my phone is constantly going dead if I play music or run my Biking App. I bought this set of two portable chargers from Amazon, and can you believe Brooklyn was the first one to use it, she’s always the first, HA! It works with my Fire Tablet when I’m reading, our phones, the iPad, and all Samsung items. It’s lightweight, compact, and will charge my phone over 3 times before I need to recharge it. What I’ve Been Reading…

I shared this book on my Instagram stories because I was enjoying it so much. I love thrillers, love stories, and I absolutely love reading true stories and what people have went through and overcame. Christy (a follower on IG) messaged me and suggested I read The Alice Network, she says it is very similar (but fiction) and totally worth the read! A Woman Of No Importance is about a spy, and it’s true!

Here is an excerpt just to get your engines running! “In 1942, the Gestapo sent out an urgent transmission: “She is the most dangerous of all Allied spies. We must find and destroy her.” … She became the first Allied woman deployed behind enemy lines and–despite her prosthetic leg–helped to light the flame of the French Resistance, revolutionizing secret warfare as we know it.” Who doesn’t love a great true story and a woman is the hero! Devoted is a thriller, and I love a great thriller! This one has a dog as a character who comes to love a little boy who hasn’t spoken in 11 years. It’s a page turner for sure! Not to give it all away, but there is an evil killer in this book and the story will have you sitting up swiping your Kindle! It’s a free book for Kindle also! See this book here.

If you have shopped on Amazon, I am sure you have sen some of the best sellers pop up and wonder if they would be a score or an epic fail. I decoded to try out some of the tees and blouses that keep popping up on my feed and put them to the test. I was surprised to find out that they were better than I expected! These were some of my faves.

This is definitely a tee to check out, it is one of my favorite tees I have found from Amazon. I love the colors, the camo and the stripes make it stand out from a normal tee. This comes in multiple color options and it fits TTS. It has some stretch in it, so it’s super comfortable and breathable for the hotter months. I am wearing a large in the baby blue for reference. It’s only $16 and totally worth trying. See the tee here.

I love the sleeve detail on this v-neck casual tee! I have been eyeing this the entire summer and finally ordered it. This fits TTS ( I am wearing a large) and comes in multiple color options. This hits below the waist and easy to tuck or untuck, the sleeves are not scratchy, and are as soft as the tee. Overall it is a great tee to style on the weekend or for work. This sweater was better than I expected as well. This is a loose v-neck color block style sweater and I loved the neutral stripes that really stand out with the black skinny jeans from Target. This sweater has nearly 2k positive reviews, so I jumped on it. It fits true to size and comes in a ton of colors and patterns. This looks really cute with denim shorts and sneakers on cooler nights. This striped-leopard twist knot side tee is as cute in person as it is in the pictures. I would size up in this for a better fit. I ordered a large and it fit like a medium, so I returned for a larger size. This comes in different colors and patterns also. it’s a cute tee for the weekend or to wear on a business casual day. This split v-neck chiffon tunic is supposed to fit looser than what I am wearing, so I would size up unless you want it to fit slimmer. This is a tunic and hits below the hips; I decided to tie it at the waist since long lines will make me appear very tall, lol. Overall, I like this top, however, I would have liked it much more if I had sized up and went with the oasis leaf print. See all the prints here.

I spent about two hours bathing and trimming up Cooper yesterday and he was jetting around like he was King of the Hoyle house! Once he starts getting lathered up, he’s putty in your hands, LOL! Ziva on the other hand, sigh…. We will be locked in the shower and I’m sure I will need a bathing suit on to conquer this task! Any tips for bathing this big Goldendoodle? She normally goes to the groomer, but we couldn’t get her in this week. Tips and prayers appreciated, LOL!! Stay safe and be blessed! XOXO

    Love the Amazon striped sweater! Feels like 100 degrees here in N Y so that’s not going anywhere near my body right now. Lol. Good luck with the bath, I set up a child’s pool in the yard to bathe my 70 lb hound, he’s too big for the shower.

My daughter who was married in Feb flew down this week Tuesday from Tennessee and she’s leaving tomorrow 😞 I definitely will be getting me those in the go phone chargers. I swear we lose chargers in this house constantly.       Thank you so much for pinning!! This has crippled my traffic to the blog, so I definitely will have to post daily. I am getting used to my new glasses, so it is much easier when I’m writing and searching. And your house sounds like ours, the chargers are always getting gone or Brooklyn breaks them by bending the cord too much. I even bought a new charger and hid it in my purse so no one finds it 😂😂😂 Enjoy your time with your daughter, I know how hard that can be. We are having a time with Raegan, bless her heart. She was more upbeat last night, I feel so bad for her. She’s seen more death in her 21 years than I have in 52. She hasn’t totally moved back in (after I pulled furniture out from all the extra bedrooms) hopefully she will perk up and come home soon. She can’t stay with her friends forever, right?       Those books are very good! I love a page turner! Lol I love great love stories a lot, but I find myself loving books with intrigue, and one that keeps me guessing. Now my movie choices are mainly romantic comedies with an occasional action/drama. My husband tells me I’m totally confused on good movies 😂😂 When it starts cooling off I’m going to work on the videos, this summer has been brutal for me with hot flashes. We keep put house on 68 with tower fans in nearly every room ( lol) Barry swears he lives inside a milkshake 😂😂😂

      Well that is refreshing to hear!! I know something is wrong, where I normally get 5-30k views on posts, I’m not getting around 60. Eeek!! I will keep emailing them until it’s fixed. I had another blogger friend that this happened to about 6 months ago. Her blog was labeled spam from a “bot” so when she pinned, it went into oblivion. They got it fixed, but it took her a while. With you girls pinning for me, it will hopefully balance it out until I can get back in front of my full viewership.

    Beautiful Beverly!!! I have not fell off the face of the earth…I am still alive and kickin’ (not as high as I used too LOL!) I have not forgotten you. I am still really busy at work which is a good thing. I have thought you all often and prayed for your whole family. I have been doing more for my precious 82 year old Mother so with my work schedule it has kept me really busy….which I am glad because now it’s my turn to do as much as I can for her.     I have been pinning many of your great styles and they always get saved by others! Good luck with the dog. My goodness, my dog hides at the sound of a running bathtub! We have to wash her outside on the deck with warm soapy water from a pail. She does not like to be immersed and confined or the sound of the water. Crazy!
